i think you can gate check the stroller no problem, i have never flown with one before.
i ordered the one i posted last yesterday, the instep suburban safari, with the 6 of us right now it is $29/person. anyone know at least 2 or 3 more people who want to join??

as of right now it is still at 29/person, since one person dropped out, if you took the spot it would be at 29.
the last person before you, Bjeannep, is at BCV till 10/31.
if you would like to join, just send me your dates and I will add you to the list.

Also, you guys should contact the moderator of the Budget Board about putting this post in the sticky topic at the top of the board called stroller swaps. It would be easier to find and you may get more people. They don't like the bumps so be careful.

Our dates are going to be night of 11/6 - 11/12 (I could drop it off to someone the night of the 11th or morning of 12th). I am seriously considering the swap if you have somewhere for it to stay between 10/31 and 11/6. Let me know and I'll look at this some more later tonight!

We are staying off site at Comfort Inn in Lake Buena Vista. But we are driving down so I can pick it up and drop it off wherever it needs to go. I could go to BCV if they are willing to hold it or I can see about getting it sent to Comfort Inn if they will hold it. I know some other people are somehow checking them in with Disney resorts, but I'm not sure how that works. And there was a comment made about the longer it stays sitting there is the more chance it could disappear.

And that is an awesome price. This sale price is good but you have to add shipping!

Hey Doxxie, I added you to the swap.
right now we are at 26/person. If we can get 2 people (especially to full the gaps we have 10/19-10/25 and 11/1-11/5) we will be at 20/person.

how does everyone feel about the cost so far? how about adding those additional items? I don't think I will be using the items, but will transfer them on to the next person. but I have never been to Disney in September, so who knows, I may be glad for them.

What do we do with stroller when swap fades? Are we following all the other swaps and donating to charity?
Please let me know how you all feel about these questions.

There is a consignment store really close to me and some consignment sales coming up soon so I will check around some of those and see if either of these items are available. If they are I will grab them. If anyone else wants them I can ship them down ahead of time, if not, I'll take them with me.

I got the rain cover suggestion from this board before we went last time. It was suggested that you have a rain cover just in case since it is Florida and you have those afternoon showers. And that you put the rain cover on before you park your stroller and leave it (to go on rides, shows, etc). That way if it does rain while you are gone you don't come back to a wet stroller and have to put the kids in it.

Also, I read a suggestion that you put something on the stroller handlebar to differentiate it from the other 100 strollers! There were tons of ideas of what to use on the board but that was 2 years ago. I think we ended up just putting a wrist rattle on the handlebar and maybe something else.

I am getting so excited about our trip. I found an amazing hotel deal yesterday and now I have the stroller lined up!

I was also looking at trying to find a deal on a cup holder/parent tray (I can't remember if there was one?? and the link isn't working right now). I could live without it, but it might be nice.

Very quickly looking there's a rain shield for $15 on Amazon and a Rayshade for $25 and free shipping. I would bet the rain shield could be purchased at BRU, I'm not sure about the Rayshade. I'm willing to buy these but I won't be down there until November so it doesn't help you. I don't mind shipping them to someone if I have time to get it to you before you leave.

If this is the model that was purchased: joggingstroller dot com /InSTEP-Suburban-Safari-2.pro then it looks like there is a tray on it.

I'll see what I can find this week (like maybe tomorrow).

The rain shield sounds great..it does come with a bug shield (?) never used either of those before.

anyone know of anyone else that can fill our gaps in our swap or need it after us? keep this swap floating around.
