Was folding/holding your double stroller a huge pain for bus/boat riding purposes? Tell me what stroller you have when you post your response. THanks for sharing your experiences.

I don't think the double is anymore of a pain in the petunia than a single. We've always used the City Mini Twin, which folds easily and pretty flat. Anything is a hassle on the busses since everything has to be folded. On most boats you can roll the stroller right on. Either way it's worth it, in my book.

people are going to think I work for this site but I loved themeparkstrollers.com I think it is the same as the other poster posted, a city mini twin. ours collapsed at the seat and folded pretty well. Buses you have to fold as well as small boats. Big boats you just push on them and never collapse.

fyi: The boat in Epcot (Germany to Mexico) is a big boat.

I loved the double stroller and had it folded in 2 seconds. Hubby usually held the stroller at his knees on small boat rides. Go to front opposite side of loading so captain does not tell you to move. Buses stay to bottom level towards back to get off bus with a wider door. We mostly used boat since we stayed at WL recently. Monorail has no problem with double stroller.

We;ve gone multiple times with singles and different doubles... honestly they are all a pain. But... the bus is a short time period you are one... and the stroller is worth it the rest of the day. I'd go with the stroller that your child is comfortable in. No matter what stroller you get it's not fun on the bus.

We took our double and it was fine. I was worried after reading on here. Mornings were never an issue. Nights were crowded, but we were still fine. We always kept an empy plastic bag to quickly dump loose stuff in and that helped.

We have a B.O.B. Revolution Duallie. It's accompanied us on every trip for the last 5 years! We love Bob, and would be lost without him!

As long as you have it folded up before the bus pulls up, it's not a problem. My hubby handles the stroller though. I handle the bags and kids.
He just moves towards the back and keeps it leaned up against his legs if he's sitting or standing. The biggest thing for us to keep it from bothering other guests. We usually put the kids in the bus seats behind the area that the stroller blocks. They don't need the leg room anyway.

On the boats there is usually a spot to stow the stroller. It depends on how crowded it is though. Sometimes you just have to keep it as tight against you as possible to keep it out of the way.

Having the stroller is far more convenient than doing without it, and the Disney strollers are awful. They're hard, difficult to steer and only available in the parks.

I am the stroller guy for the family....folding was never an issue for me, it was always getting the stuff wedged underneath by the kids out in time.

We have a Joovy Caboose and it's a dream to move around crowded areas with. The only problem with the Joovy is that if you have two young ones, this stroller probably won't work for you. It's pretty quick and easy to fold, just unhook the latch and pull up on the release, it folds down flat and just rehook it again to keep the stroller from coming open. To open just unhook and pull up.
