Has anyone gotten these yet? From the website it says it takes 8-10 weeks to get them. I'll probably have been there and back before I see any such thing in my acct. Cuz I have to spend $2300 first on the items they say count! Sheez!!

That is why I got a Citibank Platinum that gives me 5% back on food, drugs and gas. On my first bill was only $54.43 and I got $2.72. I only had the card for a few days this month. My Disney card is gathering dust nowadays. I only use it for other purchases. It really was not all that convenient to use at DW anyway as I had to sign for everything, just like a credit card. Was alright at sit down restaurants but time consuming otherwise IMHO. Cash is easier and I am good to save it up for our next trip, November 2005.

SlightlyGoofy: Now I just received an offer from Citi for a Diamond Preferred rewards CC. Is this the same one you have? I haven't read through it, can you receive cash or is it only for rewards such as gift cards?

kmermaid, the card I have is called a Citibank Dividend card and from what I read you can collect cash when you have accumulated $50 or more in rewards. Maybe you could do a "search" on the different cards and see if there is any difference. Some kind person on these boards turned me on to this card. Christmas is a great way to get lotsa points. LOL I have a friend who told me that she once charged a car (took three cards) on credit cards. Food for thought there.

Best Wishes for a Happy Holiday and sure hope it is warmer and has less snow there than here. We have about a foot - so far. More expected tonight. Unusual for these parts. A friend in Mobile told that they were expecting some snow there as well. Brrrrrrr!!

Thank you Linda, I will look into that credit card. You can't beat cash for a reward. My girls are dying for snow here, we are only getting rain, yuk!

Merry Christmas!

I was looking at my Disney Visa bill last night. I got 10 bonus points. I wish I would have known, I could have transferred them to my rewards card when I was at WDW 3 weeks ago (the statement date was my arrival date). Oh well, more for next time!

kmermaid, so you would like some snow? We have 20 inches, so far. It is not like we are used to this stuff. Send prepaid mailers and I will glady mail some to anyone who is interested. LOL

Cash is the best IMHO also. I am a good shopper and can get a whole lot more for the money than all those silly things they want to 'give' me for 'free".

DebbieB, yep, will mean more for next time. Hopefully it will not be too long until you are there again, with big bucks. LOL

I am so grateful to live in a 4 story house. Many people here are snowed in as they cannot open their front doors. The snow is piled so high up that it is providing a very nice insulation for our basement which should help as the temperatures drop tonight. Brrrrrrrrrr!!
