Well hello everybody! GRACIOUS we have a talkative group here... I love it!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOO happy to be back! I haven't had a chance to look at any of the four million pages of posts since I was last here, but I do see that Kimberly has done an awesome job with the roll call extraordinaire... I will email you about setting up a feedback loop to update the OP in this thread if you'd like. :goodvibes

Looks like I have a lot of reading to do... good thing my DH is going out of town for three days. :rotfl: Looking forward to catching up with y'all!

Kimberly - My BIL was at that Ohio State game that I commented on previously! He went to Ohio State and he is still a Buckeye at heart. They even named his dog Buckeye (they call him Buck).

....Just wanted to share a picture of my pirates.

He was?!! That's very exciting!! I'll be there tomorrow against Wisconsin!!! :woohoo: I'm so excited. I haven't been to a game in soooo long! I absolutely love it that his dog is named Buckeye, aka Buck!

Okay, Crissi....your kids are so adorable and look awesome in their costumes!!!!

Crissi your kiddos are adorable!!

Kimberly did you change your avatar? It is bugging me that I can't remember what you had there. The shirt and journal turned out great...glad to see that they finally arrived.

Adrienne! Our long lost OP!!! I'm so glad you're still here and still sailing! We have had quite an adventure - Kim has everything arranged in post 577. Don't be a stranger!

Just wanted to share a picture of my pirates.

http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd251/crissichef/Halloween2007001.jpg

I rotated it in photobucket but it is still sideways.....how do I fix it? Anyone know?

Thanks,

Crissi

It's upside right! :goodvibes Your pirates are adorable!!!

I KNOW! I had started to think that the Tink avatar was actually our Kimberly's photo! :rotfl2:

Adrienne!!! When I saw "AQW", I thought "Oh my goodness. Is it really her?" I immediately went to the handy dandy Cast Roll Call List to confirm it IS you!! She IS alive! I start to worry about people when you don't see them post in MONTHS and you don't even see their post count go up. SO thrilled you're with us still on the cruise!!!

Honestly, I think we're too big of a group  :goodvibes to update Post #1. It's so exciting that we're up to 407 cruisers!! Jeremy (LadyShiva's DW) will get the website up and running in the coming weeks/months, and that will show everyone. What you may want to consider is include a link to Post 577 in your OP so any new cruisers will feel like they find a place to start in this crazy bustle! The link to Post 577 is always in my siggy, too. Of course if you WANT to update post #1, I certainly can pass along the database list. I'm just thinking the website will suffice. Let me know what you want to do.

So catch us up on what you've been up to, missy!

Kimberly did you change your avatar? It is bugging me that I can't remember what you had there. The shirt and journal turned out great...glad to see that they finally arrived.

Hey there, Lisa! I did change my avatar this week. It was Tink, my favorite Disney character. I love her for her spunk! I thought I would take a break from her and show my pumpkin converted into a buckeye nut for awhile. :upsidedow

I agree...the shirts did turn out great...now if I can only loose enough weight to fit into it next Sept! :rotfl2: I got the second one for my mom so we could have matching shirts for our boarding picture. Not only that, but I thought it would be nice to have our logo shirt on for our DIS meets! There's no way her "curves" will fit in her shirt either! So I'll have to order another one before Christmas for her.

Okay...I can't believe I'm still up when we're leaving for "The Shoe" in 7.5 hours. I need to hit the bed! Have a good weekend everyone!!!

Well I made up to page #100, but my eyeballs are about to fall out so I'll have to finish up over the weekend. :surfweb: So much good stuff! As for business - Kimberly, this weekend I will edit Post #1 to include a link to your post on p.39; I think that will be easiest all the way around. Your stats are awesome; thanks for all the work! :cheer2:

I was DELIGHTED to see we're going to have other homeschoolers on board... we're a homeschooling family as well! :thumbsup2 My two kidlets are home educated, and by the time the cruise rolls around my nephew may be as well. :teacher:

I got all excited when I saw LuvtheEars' post about being in SPH connecting room #5524... I thought that was the missing room we've been wanting so badly. But what we need is #5024, not 5524... drat! My party needs two cabins and we're in SPH rooms 5020 and 5022; the connecting rooms are 5022 and 5024. 5024 is booked, obviously by a single party, so we would *dearly love* to switch them for #5020 so our party can have connecting cabins. If anybody out there knows who has #5024 for this cruise, please let me know! They'd be getting a good deal by switching with us; the view obstruction is much more severe in 5024 than in 5020. :)

Please count me in with the lanyard project; love the idea.

I'm off to bed... looking forward to getting through the rest of this awesome thread! :grouphug:

...If anybody out there knows who has #5024 for this cruise, please let me know!....

Adrienne, I checked the list twice :santa: , but no one here has registered 5024. That doesn't mean all hope is lost though as I have 44 of 140 cabins without a cabin number. There are also a few that are labeled only by their category. So all hope is not lost. :)

Hey Stargater...

You know I wondered about that when I saw the pictures in your posts (before your signature got cut off so badly, that is...now it's just Snow White's torso!:lmao: ). I saw you had a little cheerleader in your family...are you a cheerleading coach, as well? I am, too. Well technically I'm a gymnastics coach but I was a gymnast and also a high school and collegiate cheerleader. And I teach tumbling classes to cheerleaders of all ages from all over our area plus I'm one of two coaches at my gym who are the "official" tumbling coaches for one High School here---Fairport High School. Their 3 squads (freshman, JV, and varsity) work out with us twice a week on tumbling and stunting and then many we do private tumbling work with, too. Our first major competition is this coming Sunday then we have a number of weeks off before we get into a crazier competition schedule (we do most of our competitions during winter season and Nationals, which we won last year in Orlando, we do in March)!

We have 4 competitions before crazy season every sunday for the next 3 weeks. The first comp, my team came in second, DD9 took fourth against 12 excellent teams.

We will be at the USF sundome tomorrow with the chance of first as the other team that beat us out will not be attending. So, I am really excited. I have the JV Tbird Blue Flyweights and my DD9 is a JV Tbird Blue MightyMight. We will be going post season with 4 more competitions to go. We are in the novice division because only 2 of my girls have ever cheered before out of the 16.

Any tips please do not hesitate to email them I can use them all.
PS,,,,after competition last sunday, the parents came up to me and basically appologized for the way they treated me "we had no idea".

S:cheer2: :grouphug:

COOL!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

We can have our own Double Dip Cheerleading Squad! We can put together a routine and do it at the goofy pool! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I'm not exactly in partner stunting shape anymore but I bet I could base a 9 year old! :rotfl2:

Lets do it for the talent show. I base 7,8, and 9's all day long. That would be a riot! We could do it to the raido disney mix that I created for comp season this year.....has strut, going vertical, best of both worlds, get your head in the game, and a few more moves.

Look at all that new furniture~ How exciting~

Although--assembling anything gives me major headaches (I am so very NOT spatially intelligent!). Even instructions on how to assemble a kite or put together a toy for DS makes my brain go on overload. I just cannot assemble things....so seeing that picture just made my brain say WOAH!!!!

At least there's a place to relax already assembled :)
I love to assemble things!!! Let me know....I will be glad to help only on the Gulf coast of FL.

Okay, Crissi....your kids are so adorable and look awesome in their costumes!!!!

I sent my BIL an email of your avatar.......(hope you don't mind) he will just LOVE it!

Thanks, the kids really had a great time this year TorTing and the best part is these costumes are doing double duty next year for Pirate Night!

Back to the issue of ToT...our neighborhood is a gated community & there's hayrides each Halloween that takes the kids around the neighborhood. Most of our lots are 2+/- acres and they're all set REALLY far back from the street, so it's pretty much impossible for littles to walk the entire way.

We always skip the hayrides because it's just plain NUTS...the big kids run likek mad children up to each house & (since everyone ToTs at the same time, there's usually buckets at most houses on the porch) the kids just mad-grab the candy. Drives me nuts.

So DH & I take DS (who's only 4 anyway) on the golf cart door to door ourselves. It's much more fun for all of us that way, and DS can take his time and enjoy.

The only bad thing, though, is that now for the past TWO years, the dang hayride hasn't come by our house. Now, in our neighborhood, unfortunately, there's a "keeping up with the Joneses" mentality & almost everyone gives out full size candy bars. So I couldn't be the *one* neighbor not to do that, so I purchased 100 of those 4ft long pixy sticks...And we were left with 98. What the heck am I supposed to do with 98 monster sized tubes of sugar? :scared1:

Next year, I'm going to forget the whole deal & just get REGULAR candy (shhhh..don't tell the neighbors...I'll be the black sheep of the neighborhood :rotfl2: ) and be done with it.

I wish we had hundreds of ToT kids...I love seeing them all. No luck though!

Anyone want some sugar?

Before our last cruise, I had read a review of a salon service on the Magic called the Frangipiani (sp?) Scalp Massage. The cost is only $26, and lasts for 30 minutes. It's a scalp massage with some special oil along with a neck massage.

I thought this was the perfect treat for DH because his favorite thing in the world is for me to rub his hair while we relax on the couch. He thought it was the BEST thing in the world! It was so relaxing, & for the price, it was a do-able thing more than once on the boat!

I just wanted to throw that out there because I had never heard of it before, & I would have never sent DH to get one had I not read that review. He'll be getting a few of them on this cruise as well :)

Went to Kohl's today, they had a 50% off sale 6am - 1pm.. got some Great deals !!!

Even picked up Cruise clothes :thumbsup2

Heather...the Frangipiani Scalp Massage is something I totally want to try on the cruise. I'm so glad it was worth it and you enjoyed it. I was thinking of doing that and I also want tog et an up-do on formal night.

I KNOW! I had started to think that the Tink avatar was actually our Kimberly's photo! :rotfl2:

:lmao: I almost had ginger ale all over my keyboard. I'm such a visual person I always look at everyones avatars and when they change I get all lost.

Kimberly first off glad I'm not going  I'm so bad i didn't even notice that was a pumpkin...what I did notice was all the Ohio in the avatar (I'm a Gopher), my brother is sad that WI lost today (he is a huge Badger fan) It is good to know the shirts in that style run small...that is the one thing I worry about is the fit.

OK....I Googled the exact name and it's the Frangipani Scalp Massage (I spelled it wrong in my first post). DH said that when we went (it was actually formal dinner day at 1:00) he said the salon was completely empty. The salon lady said that men often come in for the service ( I was afraid he'd be the only guy in the place!). We are going to schedule a few while we're on board this time because it was so amazing...

I was at Kohl's today too! I got a bra. Which I will probably wear on the cruise. :upsidedow

Oooohhhhh, that sounds really nice! It appeals to my budget-sense :thumbsup2
