Jim and I are headed to Anaheim this Wed, coming home Mon the 29th - I have a convention, and we are visiting our family who love all things Disney! Not sure if a visit with the Mouse is on the agenda, but I know us girls will at least check out DD, and probably Rainforest!

Hello, Val and John!! More Buckeyes on board!! I'm in Dublin (outside of Columbus if you don't know).

Sounds like you were cruising with Heather and Jeff last week! Hope you had a great time as well. Assuming the ages of the kids are their age at the time of the cruise, I looked to see how many friends their age they will join. For this cruise, Gabby is in a popular age group! She has seven other princesses her age to make friends with. Natalie will join two other princesses who will be 7. As for John Jr., he will find five other buddies his age. Doug46 also has friends joining us with a 4 yr-old, however, I don't know if that's a prince or princess.

Our thread has quite a busy bunch of chatters! As the Cast Roll Call List keeper, let me suggest that you check out Post 577 (link in my signature) to see if there's anything else listed there that you would like to share about yourselves. There's a website currently under development, and the information you give me will get posted up there!

Post 577 is also a good "go-to" thread to see what kind of activites we've been talking about. If you have other suggestions, please share!!! For some of the activities that may make you say "Hmmm...what is that?!", I tried to add links to other posts that discuss it. Certainly ask if there's anything you want to know more about. This post also has info about locating our cruise logo so you can use it for door magnets, your siggy, or whatever you choose.

More exciting news....

Val and John's family addition pops us back up to over 400 people!! ("Back up" due to us unfortunately loosing around 7 people this past week.) I think it was an email from Heather that I received that she stated the ship was nearly sold out when they booked while onboard last week. No shock there!

well today was the day my daughter alex filmed the music video. they are hopping to have it edited by christmas. if you want to check out their site its www.splashnboots.com, they have a blog and are going to be posting pictures of the filming on it.( those of you from ontario with kids should check it out. maybe they will be playing near you)

I was offline for a day and a half and there are like a gazillion posts to catch up on EEK! I am sure I missed some stuff, but here is what stuck in my groggy mind:

Heather: homeschooling rocks! I homeschool my two (DD10 and DS8). In fact tomorrow we are going to Portsmouth to the Seacoast Science Center to learn about sealife, look at urchins and starfish and the like under a microscope and even dissect squids. Marika is thinking the disection bit will be too much for her, but I am sure she'll do just fine

Drea: Great costumes!

Brandie: I am glad Fiona is mending and I am sorry it is taking so long Also, umm send some snow our way soon please (yes, I LIKE snow). We ALWAYS go out for hot cocoa and sit by the window for the first snow storm of the year and just watch those lovely flakes fall (even if I wake kids and take them in jammies). I want to do that. On second thought, no snow until Pippin closes, what if it is snowing during a performance and we miss our cocoa?!!?

Erik: Glad you got AK Villas. We plan on booking our precruise package around mid November.

Deb: Congrats to your DD on the video.

Okay all, try posting LESS the next two weeks please Today started what theatre people fondly refer to as h*** week. We rehearsed for 9 hours today. We rune the show in dress the next three evenings and then we open on Thursday. Erik, thanks for the appropriate wishes Anewmac, I will have someone get a photo of Dave and I in full costume and make-up and post it sometime in these next two weeks

Hey all, just checking in--even if I don't post often, I am all caught up on all the posts. I read at least every 2nd or 3rd day.

Hadley--tonight when I left work I heard "Magic To Do" on my Sirius radio again! Needless to say, you were the FIRST thing that popped into my head. Well, break a leg during h*** week, and enjoy!

Erik--I can't believe it's the 11 month window already. Wowsers. Like you mentioned, with our WDW trip in less than 3 weeks, it's the only thing consuming my mind right now. But I got a bit envious when I heard about your Blue Bayou reservations, and then started thinking, "Okay, now HOW can I get Sunday off work and convince Rob that we need to head to Disneyland that week after all?!"

Maybe it's just this time of year, which I LOVE--although no snow here, thankfully. Left that behind when I left Wisconsin--but I REALLY loved seeing the pictures of Drea and her man in costume, and also Heather and company. Those pictures really made me happy tonight!

Ditto here. I am getting into crunch week and for the next few weeks with competitions for cheerleading. This year has been real hectic with DD9 on a different squad then the one I coach. I have only gotten to see 4 of her games this year . We have competition every Sunday for the next four weeks. So...between my MBA, and Coaching and being a team mom plus working to pay for Disney Cruises. I will be a little scarce.

I am so sure though that I will not be coaching next year. I just can not do it. The parents are so mean and treat you like garbage. I got yelled at this weekend in front of my girls by a parent that was upset. I just wanted to yell back, I do not take this abuse from my boss and he pays me! This is all volunteer. I didn't and when you all finally meet me, you will see that I can never say a harsh word (sad but true) even though I did think some of them this weekend. . I will post a picture of DD9 in her cheer uniform once I scan it in.

Erik & Jason - Have a great time in DL! Now that I've moved to the East Coast I don't think I will be going there any time soon.

I've been reading every day, but have not had time to post because I was sewing Megan's Halloween costume. She is Snow White this year. I made her a Cinderella dress last year, so I didn't think Snow White would be all that difficult. After spending 3 hours on one sleeve I thought different. Now I'm trying to figure out how to make this dress longer so she can wear it on the cruise next year. I purchased shoes and a wand from the Disney.com and she is sooooo cute! I'll post a picture when I get the dress hemmed.

I got yelled at this weekend in front of my girls by a parent that was upset. I just wanted to yell back, I do not take this abuse from my boss and he pays me! This is all volunteer. I didn't and when you all finally meet me, you will see that I can never say a harsh word (sad but true) even though I did think some of them this weekend. .

Add yellow crenolin to the top of the skirt and that can cover any attachment you are doing to make the skirt longer.

I have to do this with DD9's also. The sleeves are killers because they are so puffy and have multiple layers.

I sewed this one 2 years ago. I told her this year,,,,what about pocahontas! LOL

Hey Stargater...

You know I wondered about that when I saw the pictures in your posts (before your signature got cut off so badly, that is...now it's just Snow White's torso! ). I saw you had a little cheerleader in your family...are you a cheerleading coach, as well? I am, too. Well technically I'm a gymnastics coach but I was a gymnast and also a high school and collegiate cheerleader. And I teach tumbling classes to cheerleaders of all ages from all over our area plus I'm one of two coaches at my gym who are the "official" tumbling coaches for one High School here---Fairport High School. Their 3 squads (freshman, JV, and varsity) work out with us twice a week on tumbling and stunting and then many we do private tumbling work with, too. Our first major competition is this coming Sunday then we have a number of weeks off before we get into a crazier competition schedule (we do most of our competitions during winter season and Nationals, which we won last year in Orlando, we do in March)!

42 years old and had my first tooth pulled yesterday,but on the bright side still no cavities. being the mean mom that i am i showed alex and told her see what happens if you don't brush your teeth. still waiting for the toothfairy to show up, a wisdom tooth should be worth some kind of money.

DH, DS & I leave tomorrow morning for WDW & MNSSHP on Friday !! Back home on Sunday

We get to stay at our House down there and this will be DS's 1st time in the house since it has been completely done He gets to Finally sleep in his room.. Only a Mattress & Box Spring but it is still HIS room

We have to go to Direct Buy and pick up some Furniture that is waiting for us.. We know our "loft" furniture is there.. Sofa, Love Seat & Chaise.. They called Saturday to say more pieces came in but not sure which..

We are waiting on Kitchen, Dining Room and 4 bedroom Dressers and Knight Stands as well as 5 Wooden Bed Frames.. Headboard, Footboard, Rails..

Hello everyone! My router was out for a couple of days - need to catch up! Imagine my surprise when half my siggie was missing I tried to use our logo for the Avatar(?) and I can't get it the right size - any computer savvy people know how to do it? That would take it out of the siggie area.

Ok I add this logo to my avatar. So you can just save picture as and next you go to avatar and click browse to upload pic. Now it says that the procedure failed each time I did it, but it still shows up. As long as the avatar is 100 X 100 pixels or smaller it will be find. So the small logo we are using at the end of our tickers works.
