Where did you find them and do they work with the Brother PE 400D?

I found this on ebay. Look under Disney Gang Embroidery Collection. She has 2 sets left for $8.99. Set comes with some other Disney designs too, but I already have all of them except the Cruise Line ones.

I'm not sure about the Brother PE 400D. I have a Bernina 200 and use my computer to download designs to my machine (when it's here and working that is:sad2: )

Thank you everyone for the advice on the door magnets - So sad about people taking them. I think I might have some sheet magnets that were given to me from when I was teaching. I guess it's a trip to the hot attic for me. It might be worth $7 or $8 dollars just to buy new ones.:scared:

Let me know if you want to go in together on this. I'm guessing there are several in a pack & all of them wouldn't be used for this.......

My DH is driving me batty! He's absolutely fixated on getting a motorcycle. When he's online, its usually to look at bikes (craigs list, dealers, etc.). He 'prowls' the local dealerships drooling over bikes. This is all with the knowledge that it will be a while (a year at least) before he's able to actually bring one home. Other than being able to afford it, I don't have objections to him getting a bike. Its just the fixation that's driving me crazy.

Yesterday, he told me he'd stop if I wouldn't get on the disboards until 2 months before the cruise. Well, there's no way that would fly - way too much info to be gotten here! (not to mention the good company) I suppose I'll just have to put up w/the obsession. :scared1:

How many more days is it until this cruise again??? :headache: I think I need to get a whiteboard for home to count down the days!

Hey you guys, heard so many of you talking about the double dip I had to check it out. Sounds like it is at the end of hurricane season and without the large kid numbers. HMMMMM

Oh KELLY--hop on board! And drag Kathy along with you (Rio is so mad that Abby will be there and not Owen). C'mon and join the party:banana: This is a totally fun, chocoholic group!

 Hello, MilesToGo!

Hop on board! We would love to have you!! I see you were on the TransAtlantic. We have quite a few who have joined us since they returned, so hopefully this could be an opportunity to meet up with friends you made last month!

I hope that we hear from you saying you're joining this GREAT group of DISers!!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: So you're both just obsessing about different things that are way off in the future. I like your obsession better myself;) (obviously). I hope you have 2 computers so you can be on the DIS while he is surfing Craigslist.

Oh sure, Hadley, pull on my weak spot!

:rotfl2: If you scroll back through you will find long, detailed discussio about a yummy chocolate treat (buckeyes). We are all so chocolate obsessed here. JOIN US--I hardly saw you on the repo; we need another week to try again.

Yes, I must admit that is true.......both of us are a bit obsessive at times.
Of course, I feel my obsessions are a bit more sane & rational. :rolleyes1

We do have 2 laptops, but unfortunately have never been able to get our DSL modem to accept our networking attempts. Hoping clearwire will be in our area soon & we can dump our current provider. They are close (less than 5 miles away), but no cigar yet. Once that does happen, we can happily indulge in our own obsessions to our hearts content! :dance3:

Oh, does anyone have pricing for the open-air massages on CC (couples & singles)? I think I saw the couples massage onboard is around $400. :scared1: Would love to do the onboard couples (hot tub on the veranda after is especially appealing), but don't know if I could convince DH w/that price.

Luvtheears, this thread (though long) should help you:

Magnetic Door Sign thread

For our last cruise, I just put together a very simple collage of Disney Characters (clip art found on the web from a google search) in a word document. We bought magnetic paper at Walmart (look in the paper/lables section by the school supplies) and just printed it out just as if we were printing out something on paper. It was simple, but cute. It did the job, we could hear many many comments through the door! :)

Also if you are not good at the artistic part, take a look at Pat's Disney Designs. We posted about this earlier in the thread. She will personalize some of her designs just for you!

Hope that helps....Have a nice weekend everyone!:goodvibes

Dangit! Everytime I come on here I am a whole page behind! I can't keep up w/ u guys!!! :)

Oh kelly you silly thing....Hadley and I told you to book this cruise at the midnight dessert buffet on the repo!! :)

Okay so here's how pathetic my family is (for all of you who haven't met us yet). I just got an email today that we will definately get a Fresh Air Fund kid this July (short def. for non east coasters: child from NYC who comes for two weeks to expereince life in the country). This child's family has email:banana: So I wanted to send a photo of our family (I can't imagine a kids only 5 days past his 7th birthday getting on a bus headed to a strange family for two weeks and not being a nervous wreck--I want to do as much as I can to get to know him first and hope to ease some anxiety). I spent a good long time sifting through photos today and EVERY single photo taken of the four of us togethr in the past year falls into one of four categories:
1. At WDW with the castle in the background
2. In port with the ship in the background
3. On formal night dressed to the 9s
4. On pirate dressed as the scalawags we are
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
We either need to travel less or take more photos at home (I am voting for the latter). I really didn't want to send any of these (not wanting to highlight the different world my kids live in quite that much). The kids and I finally decided on a pirate shot that has nothign special in the background to look like it was taken anywhere interesting and a note about how much Rio loves pirates and how we were all pirates last halloween, and does he also like pirates, etc? Then I figure we'll just send photos of some of us (we do have pics that aren't of ALL of us taken in other locations) looking normal on subsequent emails.

I couldn't remember the exact pricing of the couples cabana massages so I looked on www.castawayclub.com (which is a great site if you've never gone to it). The couples cabana massage is about $280 as of the end of 2006 (which is when the treatment "menu" they had scanned in was from) so it might be more expensive now.

...but Jason and I have done Cabana couples massages at Castaway Cay on every DCL cruise except the recent Repo...on which we did the couples session in the onboard villas. I don't think the Cabana massages are that much cheaper when you think about a "what you get for the money" kind of breakdown (which is admittedly not always the best way to look at it...but it's certainly a factor).

Here's our thoughts:

COUPLES CABANA MASSAGES: On a beautiful warm day it really is amazing to get a massage out in the sea air with the sounds and smells of the ocean in the background. It is very relaxing and very nice to be in there...so there is nothign you can complain about it. It is, however, only a 50 minute experience AND because it's in cabanas on the beach the services you can choose from are much more limited. They really, in our experience, only offer traditional massages and I think some basic facials and things. There is also not really any private time for you and your partner to be together alone in the Cabana for this experience other than when they leave the room for you to disrobe.

ONBOARD COUPLES VILLAS: The villas are very cool, we thought they were set up very well with a nice chaise lounge out on the deck and everything. This experience is much longer timewise (over TWICE as long as the cabana massage) and has more unique and diverse components. It begins with a foot washing portion and meeting your therapists who talk to you about what you want and everything. They then put fun bubbles or oils or things into the private hot tub and give you and your partner time to get in the hot tub together for about 20 minutes by yourself. It's very nice and very intimate and relaxing and you can see out into the ocean while soaking in the hot tub. Very cool. There is also a curtain between the room and the deck so that even when they come in to tell you it's timeto prepare for the next portion of the experience you are still in a private area. so after the tub you get out and go into the massage area and you both get to choose what you want done...and you dont' have to do the same thing. The list of options is a little more diverse there, too...including wraps, facials, stone massage, etc. After your treatment you get to get up and go back out on the veranda where they bring you a lovely plate of fruits (and you can buy champagne at extra cost if you want, i think) and they make you a hot herbal tea. So yes it is more expensive...but it's also more of an EXPERIENCE.

Jason and I will definitely do both again....and in fact we may do both on the Double Dip. The reason we elected not to do the cabanas on this last cruise was that as nice as it is....it ends up eating up over an hour of your day at Castaway Cay (once you factor in the time it takes to GET to Serenity Bay and then arriving 10 minutes early as they suggest, etc.)....and the day at Castaway is already too short! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: On this cruise, however, that problem is solved by the addition of a second fabulous day at the Cay. So we may do Cabana's on one ofthe Cay days and the onbaord Villas on teh sea day at the other end of the trip.

:lmao: My favorite group family picture is at the Poly Luau last Nov. Unfortunately we did not have time to change into our carefully planned, matching outfits that were in our rooms. So we are in grungy park atire, but we look great! :thumbsup2

This sounds like a neat experience for this little kid! My DS will be 7 in 2 weeks and I can't imagine him on a bus - alone - going anywhere. :scared1:

That's very cool to do that. My family had an exchange student from Japan for the summer when I was in middle school (many moons ago). Its something I'd like to do again once DD gets a bit older.

Lionel and I will definitely be booking one of the spa villas on this cruise. At first I also balked at the price (I love the price of the Rasul - $90 for two of you, what a bargain!) but after reading the reports it sounds completely worth it. Besides, two hours of pampering? MUCH better than one.

Hadley, that sounds really neat! I think the only thing I could have children visiting for (apart from Disney) would be seeing if they were strong enough to endure the summer heat. Florida is already getting so balmy, as you other locals will confirm.

I have to join a gym this week because I can't handle running outside anymore - even at 8 pm! Ack! And with all those Buckeyes I'll be eating.....I'll need some time on the treadmill ;)
