Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cat 8 is oceanview right? I will have to check out deck plans to see where you will be. I am booked HC 7636. Although I want and so enjoy the verandah, am wondering if I could handle 7 nights in an inside HC room. at least would save me mega bucks <G>

Also, congrats on being the 500th posting!!! Wow...and we still have 72 weeks before the ship sets sail! I think this is a good sign! We seem to have a great bunch of people here!

Yes marsha, it's ocean view. I was already ocean view so no change there, but now we're much closer to the kids club where I'm sure DD will spend plenty of time. It seems like a more convenient location than Deck 2. I'm sure I wouldn't have minded Deck 2 of course, heck, I'd probably have fun staying in someone's closet, LOL, but for only $80 I couldn't pass it up.

Agree i doubt matters what deck anyone is on, as how much time do you spend in the room? <G> But hey to get closer to kids stuff, and deck 6 is even closer to "secret verandah" on deck 7 <G>

Someone asked if they thought the cruise might sell out, and I think it just might! I think half of the boat will be us DISers which ALMOST makes me feel sorry for everyone else. Mostly because they won't be invited to the party in 6080

I was just looking on your "Geeks on a Budget" thread because we hadn't yet heard from you to see if you had graduated yourself from a currently imaginary cruise in '07. Your anedotes and story telling talents just crack me up! So congrats on being a mostly official October cruiser!

Whoa! I just made it through this behemoth of a thread.

Ok, so my husband and I are planning on taking this cruise but we can’t officially book until we are settled in our new house. We settle on it on May 18th. Hopefully we’ll be able to book in June or July. Is that going to be too late??

Special dates around this cruise/Reasons for taking this cruise (do I really need reasons?):
Sept 18, 2008: My 26th birthday
Sept 18, 2008: Our 9 year dating anniversary
Oct 1, 2008: DH’s 26th birthday (Shhh don’t tell him you know)
Dec 19, 2008: Our 3 year wedding anniversary (I know, it’s not too close, but holiday cruises are so expensive)

I’m not sure about a Ladies Only tea. I think my DH will kill me if he doesn’t get to go.

I havent been posting due to our move. We are OFFICIALLY moved in with lots of work to do of course but so far so good. We really like our hosue and our neighbors are WONDERFUL!!!!! We are also planning our Dec trip, we just tired to swithch our Beach Club ressie to Wilderness but not go Thats ok, a day at ANYWHERE in Disney is a good day.

Hi all! Just checking in from "grandmaland!" Thanks, everyone for your good wishes! Our DS with the new baby sold his house and had to have the furnace replaced, so they came to stay with us for this week. I have loved having a baby in the house!

Welcome Danielle! My DIL will have her 26th BD on the cruise, too! Sep 30th. You have alot to celebrate!
