So funny how everyone is different. I much prefer the seating on Southwest because I know that the person sitting by my child KNEW there was a child there when they sat down (and thus far the seat by the kid/kids has always been filled when there were still MANY empty seats available). It is much better than having assigned seats next to a grumpy person who makes it clear from the moment they sit that they DO NOT like children and do not want to be there. Then again, we travel so darn much neither I nor the kids think much about it. If (as has happened on lots of airlines, but for us never on Southwest) we end up seated in three sepearte seats totally apart, no biggie. Even at 3 they had flown so much, that as long as I could see them it was okay if we were apart (thougth MOST people would much rather trade seats than be stuck next to a preschooler with no parental unit
). Our experience has been that SWA is much less likely to cancel an undersold flight than the other airlines (who then not only wreak havoc with our schedule but shove us onto a flight that is very full into seats no where near each other
)--so we book them whenever we can (SiL who travels 2-3 times per week per work feels the same). But Brandie, I certainly understand your position as well. Kimberly--it boils down to I am a control freak also. You want to control where you sit, I want to control who I sit by
We seem to both be able to get what we want--thankl goodness for that.
), but I still have to ask this question to everyone. What information are you supposed to give your TA? I realized this morning I was being a control freak about making sure I got exactly what I wanted for the price I wanted to pay, and being Southern and not wanting to bother Greg!
. Luckily we didn't have to wait long in the emergency room, just a few minutes. The doctor said nothing is broken, just bruised. Hopefully the swelling will go down right away.
I hope things become LESS interesting for you soon! Geesh! I'm glad your baby isn't seriously hurt!
You do need a lifeopera title though!
. So we have to go back in January. And Rio appears to be the only truly skinny kid left in the nation. Seems he keeps getting taller but isn't gaining weight so now we have to monitor that for a while (I did something similiar and stayed at 72 pounds from 4th through 8th grades while adding 10 inches over those years--ate and ATE and ATE--but couldn't gain anything. Other than that I was totally healthy and just as suddenly as I quit gaining I started again. So hopefully it will not be too problamtic for Rio either).

. Although, yesterday, I cooked an entire Christmas dinner for 15 people, which was just a little bit stressful
. I made it thru okay, and am now back at work, looking forward to my next 4 day weekend that starts on Friday
