For those of you who are going on the dolphin excursion, are you planning on wearing water shoes? I can't remember the web site or I would try to look it up on there!

We did the dolphin excursion in Nassau and we were informed we needed to remove everything but our bathing suits including our water shoes

The grate you Knee on, hurt your knees and was slimy and they made you get to the edge of it

From what I read, the one in Cozumel has you standing in the water. It didn't indicate that we would be on a grate of any kind, but it may have just not mentioned it.

I feel right at home already...Well, thanks Buckeye for the info you provided to me about the one way car rental...i was thinking about doing that,and actually called budget renta car and they gave me a quote of 82.00 one way from mco airport to room and from room to cape canaveral....and about the same rate from cape canaveral to mco airport...however, i cannot justify paying almost the same price for only about one hour rental....there are four of us..me, dh, dd12 and ds2...can you tell me what car rental company you are using...sounds like you have a good thing going there...any help will help...it is crunch time and I am feeling the pressure already.

We used Budget rental for a one day rental. We are picking it up at MCO and dropping it off at the port the day of the cruise. We paid $52 with tax for a full size car. If you have a Costco membership that's what I used. I'm not sure if they still have this deal, but you can try..

Good question. In an effort to not advertise anyone's stateroom number, could we use a "code" for the message boards? Perhaps "FE[old number]-[new number, written backwards]"?

For example, we're in 7122, and we involuntarily get upgraded to 8030 (Google that one!). Message board says:

FE7122-0308

Only thing with the code room#'s.... "SOME" of us may not switch them to the correct # after a few DOTD's LOL Just a thought!

I have received some great car rental rates over the internet...i do not know what i will do without the internet i tell you...you call the agency itself and they give those outrageous prices but you go on the internet and get it for half or even less the price of their quotes...they are such a rip off. anyway, i have several prices that i am looking at...of course i have made the reservations and still looking and if come upon better price, i xcel the previous one...i need to start packing...i need to get a binder going and i need to get in contact with my travel agent to find out when getting docs....so much to do and so little time left

YES.. well not Dollar but THrifty they except eachothers cars from what I have read on the main thread.. which will charge you a $15 drop off fee.. not sure if its the same thru Dollar if that applies.?

But... $6500 is NOT in our budget

Someone on the DIS said that they recommended wearing water shoes because where you have to stand is slippery. We are all wearing them.

We all are wearing aqua shoes. I bought them on clearance at Walmart. (my middle dd is wearing old crocs.)

We did Tea with Alice last year. It was cute, but we wouldnt do it again. they had soo many requests for it, Dcl added more dates. On the first day sign up at the Guest services counter. It was less than an hour. (Drea your boys will be bored, lol.) You get choc chip cookies and cold ice tea. ( served in tea cups etc.)

I'm glad to hear that the sun has finallyl made an appearance in Central Florida. I was talking to my friend who lives where you live and she had water damage to her ceilings in her house and the ceiling in the garage collapsed on Thursday night. So she called the insurance company to file a claim and was told that her morgage company (who she paid and who was supposed to be paying the insurance company) had stopped paying and her policy was canceled. They never notified her at all! So, she called the morgage company and they admitted it was their fault and that they will pay for her damage but now she can't get anybody to insure her. She was really upset last night. I hope things go better for her today.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions about the water shoes. I'm probably going to pack mine just to be safe.

My DD has always done this: When she flushes those toilets, she takes full advantage of the small delay and runs full speed across the cabin so that it won't get her.

I'm telling you..its the Walt Suite..I just KNOW IT.
