We are flying out the day of the cruise. We get 2 nights in Orlando before hand. We will be back at WDW in December, first time the kids will see it decorated for Xmas.

So who's starting this vacation the earliest? I know Hadley and Erik leave before September 20, which is when a handful of us are leaving, present company included. It might also be Tania. It it you & the boys who start this party first?? When are you leaving New Zealand?

I absolutely adore Harney and Sons Hot Cinnamon tea...

I also love hot tea! That Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon has some kick! It's almost too cinnamony for me...but it's still yummy. Heather, I know that Williams-Sonoma has had it in the past. It's in a metal tin.

Yogi teas are also great! I turned a friend onto Yogi. He absolutely LOVES it. My favorite hot tea is chai, complete with the cream/milk. YUM! My second favorite is probably a peach or peach mango. Iced tea is ALWAY peachy at my house.

Have you ever been to www.designatea.com ? You can order customized samples for free! I requested a few combo flavors a few months ago, and now I think about it, I have tried them yet!

...AND I so want to see that layout with pic and title LOL......drinking a frozen beverage with an umbrella in it and watching Mickey and Donald shake their groove thangs

Okay...I'll take a pic of it and post it later. It was from my earlier days, so it looks a little amateur-ish, but I still love it!

Hilarious..."shake their groove thangs"! I actually found a great duck butt pic over a year ago on the Picture-of-the-Day thread. He's groovin' at Castaway Cay. It's my wallpaper at home, and I usually use it as my Avatar on Yahoo IM (Brandie....HUSH! ). I'll post that on here too, tonight. My love for that photo resulted in a stuffed Donald Duck as a Christmas present this past year from a friend. I think he even put a card with it saying something about me loving duck butts! Of course then that leads to rapping "I lovvvve duck butts, and I cannot lie..."

Our local Freecycle just this week had someone offering a NKOTB old school twin sheet set! I was sooooo tempted to grab it & leave it as a FE gift for you, but then I thought just maybe a set of used sheets from the 80s was tacky

So me being a carnivore I am starting to add those green things that grow in the ground into my diet.

I must say I just had the jimmy johns veggie delite sandwich #13
I got it on the 7 grain bread. Bread made the sandwich

provolone
tomatoes
sprouts
cucumbers
lettuce
avocado spread
mayo

It was very tasty. Suprisingly

I hear you. But if you knew my diet before hand this is a huge step up.
I am aiming to be more heart healthy than restricting calories

Ohhh I do. there is a blend that I love in the summer....its called the Emperior's 7 treasures. during the winter I love a good black tea.

How is the hurricane prediction looking today for where you live? I've been trying to follow it and I've been wondering how you are doing.

Its wiggled a little west but that means we are going to be on the 'bad' side (the East side is where all the tornados are). To make it mores stressful, my sister-in-law who lives south of Lafayette just call DH to come help board up their house as well....so now we have 2 houses to get ready and the storm i predicted right now to land between the two.

We'll know by tomorrow if they are going to start evacuating New Orleans or not....the parish I live near now has some manditory evacuations going on. I'm expecting my area to be called this evening.

No D cell batteries or water to be found in town. (good thing we have a generator) and the price of gas is arleady going back up drasitcally (bed part of a generator). So the city is going into 'crisis mode' at the moment.

I'm fortunate. Both my family and my parents have travel trailers and I have a cousin in central Texas with a campground....so if we leave that's where we go (and they have wireless internet so I will keep you guys posted). I think we'll be ok...just people are starting to get a bit crazy around here and the news at lunch was saying that this could throw some people back into PSTS like they were after Katrina. I am not at that point and truely I'm better today and I was yesterday. Thank you guys for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers but we will certainly play this one very safe. We left for Katrina and if this one looks like its coming our way we'll leave for it as well (my parents are debating...but I can throw my mom in the truck if need be).

I went back in college, it was a scream fest. (todays version of the Jonas brothers.) Have fun!!! say hi to my dh for me since he will practically be living in Philly (Exton) until we move to Atlanta next summer.

Exton is not too far from me I went to the concert when I was in 9th grade, I was so excited to see them, I cried teh whole concert

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! Where are they going to be in Philly? I LOVED New Kids on the Block!!!! Joey was my favorite...actually got to see him in Wicked on broadway three times and even get his autograph waiting by the stagedoor! How exciting!!!!!!!!

Ok.......I think you answered the question I had when I 1st saw this. Is New Kids on the Block the boy-band that had Joey Fatone in it?? Which one was Drew Lashae in (or his brother)? My brain is old & non-functioning.

Joey Fatone is/was just on the repo cruise this year.

Nick/Drew Lachey are from 98 degrees. (Ohio boys.)

Got an email this am from AIRTRAN about a schedual change, when I saw the subject line I gasped and thought AGAIN? but then I opened it and saw it was for the last change they made... which they said they send the email notification on July 10.. HMMM whatever done with them

WE love Disney in December too! That's one of our favorite times of year....it's cool/cold, the decorations are awesome, & it's empty the first week of December when we go!

BTW, if you do need to evacuate for any length of time, you better let me know if there is ANYTHING that I can send you to help out while you're away from home or once you return. I'll have it in the brown guy's hands quicker than you can turn around.

Denise, I to you! I LOVE your response on YOUR thread found on the main board inquiring about letters for schools to the Off-Topic posters. It was brilliant. I'm not quoting exactly here, but the "Wow...I thought so many people wanted to help me" was an AWESOME statement.

Besides the point that no one needs to interject their insulting opinions, I hate it when I go to a thread with an interest in a topic, and it turns into something else with a sprinkling of those who actually address the OP...so you wade through pages and pages to get info you were seeking. Great comeback!

What I think is REALLY sad is that someone felt that they had to PM you an example instead of posting it because they thought that it would be against the grain of those who felt they had to be judgemental of others and potentially get flamed. Sad.

Seriously...that is the cutest magnet! Where do you people come up with these magnets?? How do you make/get them? This will be our 5th DC and we've only had our Castaway Club magnet on the door and after seeing all the cool stuff everyone else is doing I want to be in on the action...!!!

Thanks guys...all the encouragement helps alot. You know we are veterans of this now...I've lived here all my life and you sort of get used to some of this after a while. The storm is still several days out so we are in a 'wait and see' status right now. When we all get on the cruise I'll be able to laugh and tell stories about it but at this point....Sept 27th can't get here quickly enough.


OHHH and I can tell you this....you will NOT SEE me drinking 'hurricanes' on the trip.
