Val... When E is gone for MONTHS.. the boys are fine.. but when he's gone for a few days its madness. And its not like he's the hard _ _ _ I AM so not sure what the different is when he is gone LOL. I do find when he's gone for a shorters amount of time I find myself saying wait till your dad gets home though lol

My mom is home from the hospital, thankfully! She's sitting next to me on the sofa right now watching The Biggest Loser on DVR! She's feeling better but is sore from the one unecessary medical procedure they performed on her (the doctor read the wrong chart and ordered a PICC Line when she didn't need one). I'm just glad to have her home!

BTW - thanks for the good tidings but the "mom" that was in the hospital was Amy's mom (I'm the MIL to be). We're all glad, however, that things are looking up and she's doing better.

We're busy, busy around here. Still working on all of the C-R-A-P to get Jared in the Marines, but it's slowly getting there. He's hoping to leave for Parris Island in June.

we are home from Georgia! I love my new house, except for the paint color. it is a peachy/beige... blech!!! sorry I am just not a peach fan... maybe because I got sick with peaches when I was pregnant with Gab 12 years ago and I havent eaten them since. I guess I am moving to the wrong state.

Hey all Just doing a drive by posting LOL... Hope everyone has a great weekend. We are going to a Padre's game tonight (nothing more american then hamburgers, hot dogs and baseball.. oh and of course BEER! lol)

Tmrw I had made E and my project to paint our room, tired of the white and have finally narrowed it down to 4 of the 18colors LOL.

Monday will be my rest day LOL Well not really you know laundry and cleaning will call my name, but more rest then the other days I hope... I do plan on getting in a nap LMAO!

we are off to the outlets today.

Yesterday was John jrs bday party at CEC. John had a great time with his friends. ( too bad 4 from his didnt even rsvp) I would go to CEC. it was reasonably priced and they clean up everything/ serve the kids. I just got to sit and take pictures!!

A very Happy Memorial Day to everyone, especially those who make the sacrifice to serve our country and protect all of us!

Sarah's party the other day was a blast!!! It was threatening to rain all day and the pool was closed when we arrived (although they anticipated it reopening soon), which caused a hot mess of confusion since they didn't know if we should set up on the pool deck or upstairs in the gym. We ended up with half of our stuff upstairs and half downstairs which was a mini disaster...but it all turned out well in the end, especially since the ugly weather scared the general public away and we ended up having a completely private party...both pools all to ourselves!!!! Here are some of the pics (I'll put the whole set up on FB for those of you who are there!)

My sister's birthday was a couple weeks ago....she got some cake too....

Amy I covered the chair because she is a horribly messy eater (normally, she actually did not drop a lot in the seat this time), and the chair isn't all plastic/vinyl. There is some cloth fabric on it that I didn't want to get stained. Plus it just made for easy cleanup. In fact the Y is an awesome place for a 1st birthday...I just took her into the showers afterwards to wash off the cake, and I took the highchair tray in there too (LMAO at what the janitors cleaning those showers thought at the cake in the drain trap! )

You'll notice I was conspicuously absent in those photos....well the official excuse was I was taking them, but I did give in to the kid in me and decide to go down the big slides myself! I didn't go down the green one which is actually a really intense corkscrew....I went on the other ones and they were pretty good too! I didn't plan on going in and I had done my hair all up, tons of makeup on....oh well!
