Hey you cricut user (Kimberly and Shell.. anyone else?)

I have been thinking about getting one... I have a sizzix and it has only been used a handful of times. Cutting out a title just takes forever letter by letter. But thought the cricut would be much fast and much more fun! LoL. So tell me your pro's and cons, along with which type you have. Also any examples of what you have done with it I would LOVE to see... I think Im putting it on my bday/anniversary/xmas list this yr. Thanks gals!

I LOVE my Cricut. You can see some of the titles I've done on my blog - http://shellblogspot.blogspot.com/ - and you can do SOOOOO much more than that.

I use the software with it, though, every time I use it. It's just one of those things I really love. I have 2 programs - Cricut Design Studio (CDS) and Sure Cuts A Lot (SCAL). They are both good, but if you're primarily making titles and such, SCAL is better. You can use any .ttf font on your computer. Works wonderfully. CDS allows you to combine and manipulate images on the cartridges you own and to see the images on cartridges you don't own.

Let me know if you have any specific questions about the Cricut. I can't tell you any 'cons' because I think the thing is phenomenal. I love it. I actually have 2 - the little one and the big one.

We have a busy day planned for tomorrow... a mom/son party at a place like Pump it up tomorrow for Jr and I.
then a Communion party in the afternoon.

I just got done making some teacher/ mothers day gifts.
take an ink pen and your wrap it with floral tape. tape in a silk flower at the top. put in a jar with colored marbles. it looks like a mini flower arrangement. soo cute ( inexpensive) and an original gift. the dollar store even had the vases and marbles.

and this is coming from Mrs I am the most uncrafty person in the world!!

Amy- how do you like your new toy, I keep counting down till Oct when my contract is up with sprint and I can make the switch to att for an iphone.

So I ran my 1st 5k.. well sort of LOL It was through the wineries and last yr it was around this one winery and flat.. this yr they changed it up and it was up and down steep hills.. NOT FUN. But i did it with E, he really pushed ne if it wasnt for him I would have walked back to the winery and drank.. more LOL. So my new goal next yr is to be able to run it all. Im looking for a flat land 5k now so that i can cross it off my bucket list as I dont count it off since i didnt run it all LOL I also am signing up for the Bootcamp challange here. its 3miles with obstical course through it on the Marine Corps Recruit Base. Other then that nothing much going on. Trying to drop some weight, I lose a lb gain 2.. wth? Probably that big mac i had at lunch aint helping me LOL

alright all im off, better get back to looking like im working

Wow - congrats!! Walk/running a 5K is still an accomplishment. Now that bootcamp thing is scary!!

Arin, I've been thinking about you a lot!!! I'm glad to hear that you're still here even if it's barely. It's almost over and soon you'll have a little baby to hold!

We decided on the water park...the one at our YMCA. (It's pretty cool).
We had to pay for 20 kids even though we only have about 8 coming (for sure) there are 1 or 2 more that are iffy.

So if anyone is in the area on 5/23 let me know and I'll get you directions....lol.

I think those are great. You very well may get Le Cellier if you aren't picky on times (it isn't free dining is it? If it is, nevermind )
T-Rex is awesome! We *LOVED* it! I had a really good (though really expensive) panini. We had awesome service..lol ask for Brian in the Sequoia room! (<---FWIW we thought the Sequoia is probably the best room. Didn't like the ice cave..boring...) Even if you have an ADR you have to stand in this ridiculous line in the plaza to check in (we thought we didn't have to but we were wrong). By the time you get to the front, your table is pretty much ready. It's weird. Don't know if there were stand byv people in the line, when we were there everyone around us also had ADR's.....

I tried to talk Ron into 50's...he wouldn't go for it and instead we waited 45 minutes in line at backlot for some nasty food. Next time I win!

We have a bid in on a house!! the bank countered.. and we recountered with certain things we want done, not the price of the house! so hopefully by this afternoon we will know something!!

Drea: all the places you have listed, we have never eaten at any of them. lol. my kids still like the characters..so Chef Mickeys is a must! and this past trip we did Crystal Palace and the food was really good there too.

we let everyone pick a place for our trip in Dec. ( I picked Crystal, jr picked Chef Mickey, John picked Germany, Natalie picked Ohana, Gabby picked Japan) our least favorite was Germany, Ohanas food wasnt as good but the kids had fun hula dancing.

Arin: hang in there.. the last few weeks are always the worst!!!

Jen: wish we could be there!! Jrs bday is the next day at Chuck E Cheese... 10 or more screaming kids. Wahoo!!!
