I think a recon flight is going into that one this afternoon off the coast of NC. It wouldn't affect our cruise but could affect those of us flying down from east coast cities from Thur-Sat. That one is worth watching if you're in that boat. We fly out of Washington, DC in the morning - I don't think it would affect us.
Speculation is that this one could be Kyle and our old friend down in the Carrib could end up being Laura.

As long as well ALL get on the boat safe and sound I'm ok with it sailing in circles too - LOL!

I have commented much on the good news (engagement! home from Iraq!) and bad news (not feeling well!) of others but I'm thinking of all of you and looking forward to meeting everyone on Saturday!

I pushed two cabins and flights thru on my credit card last year on top of mine for family members.

Wow, I cant believe in 24 hours we will be leaving. I still have to pack the rest of my sons and my shorts. a beach bag, and some other little things, but other than that. and dh is flying home tonight from Philly. guess bringing him is important too.

Today, we PACK!! We only have 1 bag here to pack, Suits, Shoes and an extra bathing suit.. the others are already in Florida and ready to go..

We leave tomorrow for Florida, going to MNSSHP on Friday then seeing ALL of you on Saturday!!

Wow! You're all leaving before I am, and I feel like I've been packing for weeks, now! (Well, maybe a week.) I'm not leaving til early Sat AM. I'm thinking I'd better relax. I'm so preoccupied w/packing, I'm good for nothing else! Good excuse to get the rest of the family to step up--"Hey, can you guys take care of that? I'm still packing . . ." (but and when they're not home, like now!)

Hey Gang, sitting poolside at the resort reading the posts. I've been watching the weather systems. #2 is not our biggest concern, #1 is. If it stays south until late Sat and Sun we'll be ok sailing out of PC and stopping at CC. I'm kind of worried, this thing hasn't moved much and is still fairly strong despite staying over land for the past week. Worst case IMHO it starts to move tonight and gets near the Bahamas by Friday. It might force us to change ports and CC stops. I'll keep an eye on the direction and report back tonight.

Thanks for keeping us posted while you're poolside! Let's just hope things are still smoooooth sailing for our week next week. Hard to believe it's already time!

We leave Saturday AM at 6:30 (flight time) from DFW. So we'll be around a while here!

I've got everything packed except the very last few things I will wash Friday night & pack. Everything else is good to go! And the suitcases are all at 49lbs...sheesh....

ETA, ps... Printing form now, and going to her DR's office to get it signed... Thank Goodness.. her Nurse is my good friend and her Dr is my Dr too... My friend said come on in and get it signed..
