We were just giddy for most of the cruise! There were only a couple of times I had thoughts of throwing DH overboard

Hi Arin - We didn't rebook onboard either. I think it will be another few years before we cruise again. I want to wait until Erik is 5 or 6. It was tough since he was still a baby compared to the other kids and there was no reasoning with him. Are you guys planning the Oasis as a family trip or just you and hubby?

No kids this time We will be celebrating my 30th. I think we will do another Disney cruise when the new ships come out. The magic was beautiful, but I would love to see a newer version. DS/3 was a little overwhelmed at times and not always the most well behaved, so I think he will do better in a few years too.

Well we are booked on one of the 2010 5 night Bahamas cruises..now if I can get DH to go for the 4 night as well that sale right after that. (another 5K for a cat 6). I REALLY want to do that....hmmm I wonder if this will be case of me being spoiled and getting what i want

we really wanted to do the TA in april 2010, but we decided to go for Dec 4 2010. Dh will turn 40 that week. ( duh!!)

The prices for the TA's were so cheap compared to the other pricing. I priced out a CAT11 for 2 adults on a 5-day Wonder in July and the price was around $3K. The price for the 14-day magic WB (Barcelona to FL in SEP10) TA for CAT11 2 adults was only about $2345!!!

Also priced out various other itineraries for the Magic over in Europe and they were way out of my league! CAT11 for 2 adults for the 12-day Baltic was $7700!

Hey - that's a savings of about $4400!!!! That's a lot of DOTD's!!!!

We booked the June 12th, 2010 Baltic Cruise. I figure if we don't do it now, we never will, since we will be 64 and 65 in 2010. I could only afford a cat 11, so thats what we will do. We alread did an inside cabin on the Panama Canal cruise with Princess, so DH is ok with inside.
Stacy, sorry we won't be on the transatlantic, but Northern Europe is better for us.

I have a confession. I placed an on-line order right before I left on 9/20 so I didn't have to worry about space to bring these home. I used them as thank you gifts for my neighbors who looked after my place and others who did some things to help make my trip run smoothly like pre-boarding us on Southwest on October 3. I had several bites of one last night. YUM!! I did go in the store, and the prices were similiar if not the same for what I paid on-line. SO SHHHHHHHH...no one knows that they didn't fly home with me!

I'm glad I went this route since Lionel bought the store out!

LOL I did the same Kimberly, sent them to my mom she got them as we were setting sail I called her lol. I told her its her suviour so dont open it till I get home.

This is what E keeps saying... to do also... uggg but I just hate listening to him when he MAY be right.. I think if i keep nagging enough I may get him to do the Western or Eastern.. LOL He would rather wait a yr to cruise

So are Joe and I just sent the balance of our deposit to Dreams we are going to do another Cat 3 after all I have two years to pay for it

well we aren't doing the TA...but we ARE doing Halloween 2010 on 'the boat'. Just booked the 10/30 7 day sailing.

I really wanted to see the Eurpoean ports, since I feel like I can do the Caribbean ones any time on an Eastern.....plus, you get an extra day at sea in the long stretch

I am definitely jealous of all of you who booked the TA. I would LOVE to but there is no way with the kids...........oh well, maybe in the years to come!

Hopefully we will all meet up again on one cruise (or cruise line) or another.

Anyone have any good feedback bringing kids on other cruise lines?
