Is there a theme for this cruise???

Last year my whole group (9) along with others did the Disney Post Card shirts and Dresses that were on the Disney shopping site for less than $10 each.

I looked but I do not see them on the site anymore.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Hey Chris,
I could be wrong, but I think many people were planning on ordering shirts with out cruise logo on it from cafepress to wear for boarding. Hopefully someone else can confirm or debunk this.
Dave, the kids, and I are not really T-shirt wearers so I honestly glossed over much of that conversation (though the kids do now have logo shirts--thanks Erik--that they will likely wear to the beach). We like to wear something nice enough we would not feel out of place at dinner should our lugguge not show in time (it has never happened and we always end up changing--but we feel better with our bases covered). It is more that we just tend to dress a bit more formally than most in general (Rio especially--the kid loves ties and jackets--he is so not a typical 9 year old boy ).

We are 26 miles north of Penn State University.

I have a sister living in Freemansburg and my niece in Hellertown, so they are pretty close to you.

Do you really homeschool? In 2006, my DGS discovered at the hotel before going to sleep that he left his history assignments on board. He was very fortunate to have an understanding teacher and wasn't penalized for not handing in his assignments. We contacted Disney, but they never did find the notebook.

Thanks so much for getting me your profile info to me last night! As promised, I wanted to pass along how many other princesses and pirates are on our Cast Roll Call List who are the same age and sex as your kids.

DS13 will find one other prince his age, two at age 12, and one at age 14.
DD12 will join six other princesses her age.
DD9 may sit down for a tea party for a party of ten.
DS4 may buddy up with five other pirates and take over the ship!

You know...kinda like when you buy an outfit to match the AWESOME scrapbook paper you found and purchased! Don't laugh...I know you ladies are out there and know what I'm talking about!!!

So speaking of scrapbooking, that retreat looks awesome, Brandie! A group of us just came back from a scrapbooking weekend in Amish Country in northern Ohio. Another group of ladies there mentioned they had rented out this cabin at Atwood Lake Resort for a weekend of scrapbooking. The cabin sleeps 10, so off-season, we figure we can stay there over a weekend for $50 a person!! So we're looking into doing this in early November. So Jen, I say go visit your brother in Boulder, capture some memories, and scrap it out! It's time well spent!

That used to be me--it still would be me but the kids are old enough now to want to choose their own clothes. Luckily they take after their mom and tend to discuss what they are wearing and try to coordinate anyway Yep, I created monsters

How do you know our family so well? We do this also, luckily kids are young enough not to complain yet I am sure the time is comging though!

OMG it is sunny and warm (for those of you not from New Englad I will define this as above freesizing now and supposed to hit 50 today) and NOT windy. It just might be spring out there (of course they are predicting snow overnight, but well I'll take my spring day while I can!).

Kids' Meet Forum

Also on our DIS Double Dip website is a Kids' Meets Forum. It's a great way for the children to interact and make friends before meeting them in the cruise terminal or in the clubs!

As a precaution, the Kids' Area on DISDoubleDip.com has controlled access. In order to gain access to it, you must contact Brandie (Fizzgig) via PM or email with the parents' username and the kiddo's username on the DISDoubleDip website. She and her DH will then get you and your child/children access to the Kids' Meet Thread.

Note that if you only have a single household email account, then that's the only username to get added to the Kids' Area Forum. So in that case, there will be no distinction between a kiddo's account and a parents' account for that family.

Rest assured that this forum will be watched *closely* for any inappropriate content. Either the parents or our webmasters (Jeremy and Brandie) will handle the inappropriate content. The "officer" of course will depend on what the situation entails.
