We decided to go play in the rest of the playground for awhile, and Brian went to take a potty break. (I KNOW you really wanted to know that, right!?!)
Lydia decided to ride a dinosaur!
Then, she found Sawyer and they played together for quite awhile, going up and down the slide.
Henry and I chatted for a bit. (Yes, Heather, Henry actually SPOKE!)
When Heather and the kids were done, they came over to find us, and all the kids played for awhile.
Arminda spotted Sawyer as he was coming down the slide
It was time for our Fastpasses to Expedition Everest, so we headed over there.
I was a little worried about Heather going on this ride, due to her blood clotting disorder. I told her that I didn't think it went really really fast, but I wasn't sure she should ride it. She decided she was going to go for it, and I thought she would be fine.
When we got on the ride, I was behind Heather. After the first hill, I realized that I had been wrong! This ride DID go quite fast and was rather jerky! How could I have forgotten that!?? I was so worried about Heather! I yelled up to her "ARE YOU OK!?!!?!!!" I don't remember if she answered or not, I doubt it! I doubt she heard me!
When we got off the ride, I apologized to her for my misinformation! She said it was ok, that it hadn't been that bad. I believe she ended up with a headache though.
Here is the picture I took to help me remember the picture number.
Not very clear, but notice how Heather has her arm over Tessa to hold her in!
I think I rode this twice, the next time I rode with Corey. The line must not have been very long.
After we finished Expedition Everest, we decided to get Fast Passes for Kali River Rapids, and then grab some lunch. I had been PMing a fellow Diser, Disney4me AKA: Chantell, before we left, and she and her family were suppose to be in the park today as well. She had given me her cell phone number, so we decided to call her. She didn't answer, so we left a message telling her she could meet us at the Pizzafari if she wanted.
Then, we headed over to the Flame Tree to eat.
No, just kidding again! We went to Pizzafari. We got a few pizzas, and a few drinks, with no lids..... drinks with no lids and 5 kids..... hmm, that sounds like a great idea....
We sat down to eat, and fairly quickly Arminda or maybe it was me....
spilled her entire pop all over the place. It was a bit of a mess to clean up.
Arminda was not happy, and I went up to get her another drink.
I brought it back, and we were all happily eating away, when,
Splash!!!
Arminda's drink got spilled again. I KNOW I didn't do it twice, so I think she did it herself this time.
So, I went back up to get her another drink!
Henry and Brian seemed to think this was pretty funny. Seems like Corey was laughing quite a bit too!

The guys decided that next time, we were going to smuggle lids into AK!
Ok, it was pretty silly, but it was fun! Like I said, this was turning out to be a really special day.
After eating, we took a little trip to the rest room. While we were in there, Chantell called back. Heather talked to her awhile, and then I talked to her. I was really excited! She sounded so nice and sweet! We decided to meet near Kali River Rapids and say hello and get a few pictures.
We looked around for them at Kali River Rapids, but didn't see them right away. Then, I think Corey said, "Is that them?" to which Heather said, "No, I don't think so." But, when they got closer, we clearly saw that it was in fact THEM!!! They all looked so DARLING!!! Chantell had made her girls some adorable dresses and some matching tie dye Mickey shirts for her and her neice. Her little boy had on some adorable Mickey shorts. They were one cute family!!! We said some introductions, and then snapped a few pictures.
We chatted for a little bit, and then said our good-byes. It was so much fun to meet another Diser!
The girls then discovered this little bike thing, and played on it for a bit
But, before the girls sat in it, Henry had leaned on the little front part, not realizing that there was a little girl on the bike part in the back! When he did that, it raised her up into the air! She looked a little worried! Her Grandpa quickly took her off, and rushed her away!
When we got on Kali River Rapids, we tried to figure out who we thought was going to get the wettest. Corey and I thought that the person who went backwards first would probalby get wettest. Brian was the one riding backwards. We were right!!! He got nice and sopped! The girls had put ponchhos on before we got on the ride, and Heather had put a poncho on her lap, so they stayed pretty dry. Thankfully, Heather wasn't wearing light colored pants this day, so she didn't fret too much!
When we got off the ride, we went to get our strollers and I spotted it!!!! The elusive Lime Green Mickey Head!!!! At first I saw one on a stroller, I told Heather
"A Diser is about!!!" We then saw a man wearing a baby in a front carrier and on the carrier was another lime green Mickey Head!!! Could we be so lucky to meet TWO Disers in ONE day???? We went up to him, and he told us that his wife was actually the Diser, and that she was on the ride with their son. We told him our usernames and he told us hers Lauren-n-Jeff. I was pretty sure I had seen her around the family boards before, so I committed the username to memory!!! We were disapointed we didn't actually get to meet her, but her baby sure was adorable!!! So, hey Lauren, if you are out there, HI!!!!!
It's exciting meeting Disers in the parks!!!
As we were walkind down the path, and spotted this
Well, that's a strange place to put a poll with vines growing on it!
It's Devine!
We had seen her last year, and she actually posed with the kids. Which, I guess she isn't really suppose to do!
We were headig over to the Safari ride, when we decided to stop and get some pictures with Baloo and King Louie. While we were waiting in line, a couple stopped Heather and asked where she had got Tessa and Sawyer's outfits. When she told them she made them, they were VERY impressed!
The line was rather long, and as we were waiting, Heather said, "Oh my goodness!!! Teresa! Is that little girl in her UNDERWEAR!?!?! She then pointed to a girl, who was not so little, and was INDEED in JUST her underwer! (with a shirt on top)!!! We were beyond shocked! I though the girl appeared to be around 8 years old, and she was walking about with nothing coveing her behind but a pair of pink Barbie underwear! I got the feeling that the people she was with were not her parents. I had to wonder if they weren't, what her parents would say if they knew there daughter was prancing about Animal Kingdom pantless!!!! Shocking, really shocking!
When it was our turn with Louie and Baloo, the Photopass photographer started having trouble with his camera, so we didn't get any Photopass pictures taken, which disapointed me.
As Heather and I were taking pictures of the kids with the characters, two ladies came up and asked Heather if we minded if they took a few. They wanted pictures of the characters, but didn't want to wait in the line. Heather told them she didn't mind, as long as they didn't try to get in the pictures, since there was a line, and that wouldn't be fair. The ladies agreed.
We continued snapping pictures of our family.
The CM told Heather how much she loved Tessa and Sawyer's outfits.
So far, no one had mentioned Lydia's dress, and I was really starting to feel rather down about that! It was one of my favorite outfits that I had made, and I was hoping it would get a litlte more reaction than it was! At least Heather's hard work was being noticed, so that made me happy.
And, then I noticed that these ladies were standing near enough to the characters so that they could take pictures with them!!!! Which sort of made it difficult for US to take pictures of our family without getting THEM into it!!! We thought that was SUCH a rude thing to do! Especially after Heather had told them NOT to do it! I'm not sure why these ladies thought they were better than the rest of the people at the park that day, and didn't need to wait in lines!
So, that gave us quite a few things to talk about as we went on over to the safari. We grabbed some Fastpasses, and then tried to decide what to do until it was time to ride. It was almost 3:00, and we were excited to see they were roping off for the parade. We were suprised that more people weren't lined up for the 3:00 parade so close to parade time. So, we stood there a bit. One of us then decided to check the parade times, and that's when we saw that at Animal Kingdom, the 3:00 parade starts at 4:00. So, we gave up our choice spots and decided to get some ice cream. Of course, Arminda got hers free, due to the magic button.... I got my favorite, an ice cream sandwich! Yummy!!! Actually, my favorite use to be a chocolate ice cream bar covered in caramel and dipped in milk chocolate, but Disney got really mean and decided to discontinue my very favorite ice cream bar!

But, the ice cream sandwich came in a close second.
As we waited, we watched some guys putting on a tumbling show. I'm sure there is a name for them, but I don't remember what it is. They always seem to be performing over there though. They were dancing, and jumping and tumbling and just putting on a good old show! Corey taped it. So, we stood and sat there and watched it while we ate our ice cream.
The CMs had set up some little games along the parade route, to keep the kids entertained while they waited. So, our kids amused themselves playing hopscotch for awile. Sawyer was REALLY getting into it!!
