When they came back, they told us they had gotten Fastpasses for Rock N Rollercoaster as well as Tower of Terror. I'm not really sure why now, but for some reason Mom and I didn't understand how that was going to work out, and got upset with Corey. However, when I stopped to actually listen to my son, instead of getting upset at what I THOUGHT he was saying, I found out he was right. The plan they had made perfect sense! The guys were all going to ride RnR while the ladies and girls watched Beaty and the Beast, then we would all go over to ride ToT.
We got good seats for the show, and were fairly close to the front, and under the roof, so we were pretty comfortable.
We were all having a nice time, just sitting down and being together. Then, something rather disturbing happened, a rather large lady came in and sat down a few rows ahead of us. This made the people sitting directly in front of us start to act like total idiots! They started poinint and laughing at the lady. She was only about one row ahead of them, so I'm sure she heard. I felt terrible for her. The people being jerks weren't young kids either, they were at least my age. Mom and I were furious at those people. I am not usually witness to such blatant ridicule. It was awful. I felt that I should DO something, but I just couldn't think of anything that wouldn't make the situation worse. We were glad when the show started and they stopped.
We liked the little act they have before the actual show.
One of the guys looked so much like a guy we all new that we had the girls convinced for awhile that it was him. They then realized that Howard would have surely told them that he was going to be there the same time we were, so it must be his brother!
We all really enjoyed the show! The music, the dancing, the costumes, it's all very cool!
By the look on Arminda's face in this picture, I'm sure the Beast is laying there about to die!
Yep
Pretty pretty!
When it was over, we saw a Fastpass Photographer so we got some pictures taken.
Why do the Photopass photographers always have you facing the sun?
Then, we went to find the guys. We found them, and they told us they had rode RnR and ToT! They said that ToT was a walk on, and told us we should go on it then. So, we decided to head over there.
Lydia and Arminda had decided before that they weren't going to ride it this year. But, once we got over there, they decided that they would go too, and we all got to ride together!
The first and only time Lydia had rode this ride was two years before. She really wanted to go on it. But, she got so scared she was just shaking in fear! I felt so bad for her.
But, that was when she was 3 and she was a big 5 year old now! And, her cousin Casey and her cousin Courtney were going on it! Casey talked to Lydia while we waited (yeah, there was a short wait) and had her laughing before we got inside. It was really sweet.
When the doors to the parlor opened, we headed to the far right corner of the room, you know, the one furthest from the TV? Because, THAT'S where the door is!
Plus, Lydia and Arminda hate the movie before you get on the ride, so if you are standing in the doorway, you can't really see it.
The doors opened and we were off! Corey and Courtney were in the lead with Casey and Arminda right behind!
Corey stopped briefly to make a decision...
Left line
or
Right line???
???????
RIGHT LINE COREY RIGHT LINE!
I hollered!
Corey headed right, with the troupe of girl cousins hot on his heels! and the adults lagging behind! We were in the second group to get onto the elevators!
We quickly decided who was riding with who, Lydia was sitting between me and my Mom, and Arminda was beside me. Since I had read SpongeMommie's trip report, I checked and double checked that the girls seat belts were fastened! And, then, we were off! Lydia held onto the hand grip, and asked Mom and I to put our hands on hers. She didn't shake this time at all!
Corey took these pictures on the ride!
I couldn't believe Dad had let Corey use his camera DURING the ride!!!!
We hopped off the ride, and Casey, Arminda and Courtney were excitedly talking about the experience!
(see me waving to all of you?)
Casey: "That was sooo fun Aunt Teresa!"
Courtney: "I was soo scared, but it was fun!"
Lydia:"It went down and up and down and up!!!"
Arminda: "I'm NOTdoing THAT again!" (she says that every year!)
We stopped to look at our picture, and took a picture of our picture,
You know, so we would remember what number it was of course....
That's my story and I'm stikin' to it!
Left side, Front:Corey, Arminda, Casey, Brian 2nd row:Me,Lydia, Mom, Dad Back, Courtney, David, Barbara
and, I belive they took these while we were watching Beauty and the Beast:
Corey, Brian, Dad Front row left
Then, me, Lydia, Mom and David were off in search of a parade! Now, as a child, we never got to watch the parades. We came to Florida every year and stayed with my Grandparent's in Holiday (Florida)for the week. We took one day to do Disney World and later, Epcot (no hoppers for us, it was one or the other). So, my Mom knew that when there was a parade going, the lines were shorter, so we never got to see the parade. So, when I grew up and went to Disney myself, I watch the parades, and buy multi day hopper passes!
The rest of the group went over to Rock N Rollercoaster! Arminda LOVES this ride!!! We had both of our good walkie talkies with us today, so we were able to keep tabs on each other. I really like ur walkie talkies, we've had them since the Glory Days of the Internet. There was a website where you would click on differnt websites, and you would get paid a few cents. I'm trying to remmeber now if this was converted to Flooz or something....anyway, I made enough to buy the Motorolla TalkAbouts, and they've worked out really great for us!
Ok, we were in search of a parade! We had read on Tour Guide Mike the best place to view this parade. So, we went looking for that spot. Unfortunately, we couldn't figure out where we were suppose to stand for the "ideal parade viewing spot". So, we asked a CM where we should wait. They directed us to a spot and told us it was a good place. We believed them...
