Dorky Disboutiquing DiserSistas:Destination Disney HeatherSue's(best)version OVER1/27

my computer crashed and I just lost the longest reply, just as I hit submit. :sad1: :sad2:    I'll start over again later.

1) Loved the sunglass story.

2) I think Chip and Dale are always the best characters. I always have the best interactions with them. And they never rush you along!

3) Poor rhinos! They don't know whale. :(

4) Megan ran over when I was watching the video. "My friends!" she yelled. Also, she said Sawyer is cute when he is asleep, when he is awake and when he telling Arminda to get out of his way! I think that covers it. She did not mention Tessa's daddy so maybe she is over her crush. She did say that Sawyer was very good at hopscotch and she could tell Tessa has been teaching him.

5) Wow, disgruntled much? What a wacko safari driver! Tom gets mad because I don't let the kids sit on the outside. If he was so worried he should have made the offending kid sit on the inside. How is a parent's arm going to keep from flying out? What a wacko!

Great update! I can't believe how long it was - your updates are not usually so verbose. :thumbsup2

I did not seen any DISers on our trip and I had my LMGH's too. My DH is convinced that no one actually does the LGMH thing - I will have to show him your TR to prove him wrong.

Love your trip report...and what a fun day at Animal Kingdom. My ds was sitting on my lap while I was reading, and he was enjoying all the pictures with the characters. He was so excited when he saw Tigger, and Eeyore and especially Chip and Dale! Love the video...too funny about Tessa teaching Lydia Chinese, and I can't believe that CM on Kilimanjaro Safari. I can't wait for your next installment and also for Teresa's next installment (that usualy comes shortly after yours, right???).

Oh yea! Another post! Longtime lurker first time poster. I love yours and your sisters writing style. Your family sounds wonderful and your little ones are beautiful. Well I'm off to enjoy the latest installment.
Thank you so much for posting! Thank you for your compliments, too! :cloud9:

Yoooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuu aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeee toooooooooooooo ffffffunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that comments calls for some hummmmmmppppppppsssssssssss! :snooty:

Thank you! :rotfl: We really need to start a thread of "backside beauties"!

I can tell by the color of his hair and the way he's holding it that he is a STUPID HEAD! :rotfl: Sorry you had another less then pleasant CM. I think I definetly would've said something to him about slamming on the breaks like that though! That was definetly out of line! You shoulda reported him to the principal!

It's a good thing I'm gonna be there with you in February. Between the 2 of us- we'll set all those SH's straight!
Yooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuu arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre eeeeeeeeeeeeevennnnnnnnnnnnnnnn fuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnierrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

Backside beauties! :rotfl2:

He was a STUPID HEAD!

Awesome update!!! I loved the sunglasses story!! THat is something I do too, turn a simple story into something that the person can really experience!! lol

The AK pics were great, I loved the kids outfits!! That driver on the safari was horrible!!! I couldn't believe that he mentioned about law suits!!! Not very Disney like!!! The rest of the video was great, got to see the pics come alive!!

I loved how Tessa & Lydia looked for the birds on the sheet!! That is something that DD (Abby) would do as well!! She wouldn't be happy until she found all of them!! lol

Can't wait to hear more!! I am totally hooked on your TR!!!
I was glad that we finally got some of the worst undisneylike behavior on video. I was afraid you people would stop believing me!

Wow! I'm a little in shock by the video of the psycho driver. He sounds much younger than the grey hair. Altho he sounds calm, he is obviously psycho - "lawsuits" and "obviously you think" - yikes. I would have been mortified if it were me and I happened to be holding a child.
Yes, I thought it was eerily creepy that he remained so calm while saying those things. Why didn't he just say who he was talking to, anyway?

Great update. Glad we weren't the only people trapped by the afternoon parade!

"back by popular demand" :lmao:
It's such a poorly designed park!

I'm glad you liked my comment! :thumbsup2

Prodigal son! :rotfl2:
I love that he was so practical. We'll just get a cab and a hotel room and then cab back to AK and eventually we'll find them.

I bet it would be a lot less expensive to give eveyone in your party the address of your rental home and the phone number! :lmao:

Loving the Dancing Tigger! So fun.

Henry wears characters on his shirt?!?
John might not want to be associated with him anymore,
no matter how many guns he might have. :rolleyes1

We soooo love Tessa teaching Lydia Chinese. :rotfl:
So something my 5 yo would do.

And Sawyer pushing everyone else out of his Gorilla viewing area...
So something my baby would do!

ETA: We also were trapped by the parade. That will be in the next day of my trip report.

Great update! :thumbsup2
I hope John will still be Henry's friend. Does it help that most of his shirts have car stuff and tools on them? He even has one that says "POLICE" on it!

Right before Tessa was teaching Lydia Chinese, she was speaking Spanish to the fish! Gotta love Noggin!

my computer crashed and I just lost the longest reply, just as I hit submit. :sad1: :sad2:    I'll start over again later.
Sure you did! :thumbsup2

I believe you, you're my big hair buddy!

1) Loved the sunglass story.

2) I think Chip and Dale are always the best characters. I always have the best interactions with them. And they never rush you along!

3) Poor rhinos! They don't know whale. :(

Megan is so sweet! I think she needs a baby brother!!

When we were on the tram once the driver wouldn't go until all kids under 10 sat on the inside. I thought that was a great idea!

Great update! I can't believe how long it was - your updates are not usually so verbose. :thumbsup2

I did not seen any DISers on our trip and I had my LMGH's too. My DH is convinced that no one actually does the LGMH thing - I will have to show him your TR to prove him wrong.
You just have to look closer. We Disers are evvvvvverywheeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrre!! (say that in your best Woody voice)

Yes, Teresa should be posting her next installment tomorrow-ish. She said she just needs a good hour to finish it up. But, as I write this she is over at my mom's house goofing off!

Hey Heather!

You look super hot in your new sunglasses!:cool1:

Looking at pictures of Animal Kingdom makes me melt. I always feel like it's a million degrees there!

Great update! Of course, that has nothing to do with you mentioning me. :rolleyes1 I'm very shy and awkward around people I don't know. And knowing I was talking to the famous Diser Sisters made it even worse!

That safari driver was a jerk!

You have so many wonderful Photopass pics. We hardly say any photographers on our trip.

Hurrah! Updates galore! The kids outfits are SUPER cute. Who knew Clarice got around like that? :rotfl2: Maybe she just gets them mixed up? Yes, that must be it....Oh crap I just had deja vu on the sunglasses episode. Same thing happened to me sorta. I needed new glasses but $10 just seems expensive for something I might possibly sit, step on, or lose. I always say I'll check on e-bay...Famous last words. Oh my gosh! :lmao: Totally cracked up at Henry holding Sawyer to see Tigger. You can see his little hand holding onto dad's shirt for dear life. That's my kiddo all the way. Characters and things are ok from far away but not so much when they touch you or when you get within 2 feet of 'em. Who knew Tigger could river dance? :confused3 I totally get the whole you didn't wanna walk away from performers anxiety. I can't turn away Jehovah's Witnesses even, I just stand and listen to their speil everytime....*sigh* Wow, I didn't know oranges stain! Always the educator, you are! Awww. Arminda's such a sweetheart helping keep an eye on the younger's. Ha! The Dis'ers husband probably totally thinks his wife's nuts! I know my bf doesn't get it and frankly thinks I'm a weirdo. "How can you talk Disney and read other people's TR's all the time?" Ahhh....Men. That vine lady's really cool! How funny that you identified Chantelle by her kiddo's. :rotfl: Oh I bet Kali River felt SO great considering you were like melting away. What the crap kinda chaperone lets a kid not wear any pants?!?! :scared1: And it's true, you SHOULD sell on e-bay. I know I'd buy your creations. Ugh. I swear the heat must make people crazy. Those women were SO rude to butt in on your time. I like to think I would've told them off but I probably wouldn't. I tend to become a chicken in the face of adversity....:confused3 I love Lydia and Tessa being so up for a challenge! You just can't stop 'em! Haha. Sawyer drinking out of a pink cup's funny. When Lily was in diapers the store was out of girls pull-ups so I had to get the boy's....Worked exactly the same. Same goes for the cup! :thumbsup2 Hmm. Those hippos seemed a bit snooty if you ask me. I mean y'all asked them nicely and everything...What's hippodom coming to? :sad2: Holy crap! That driver is capital C crazy! "We'll have it on video when the lawsuits come in..." Yep, we'll also have you on video being a total D-bag dude. I cracked up with the flamingo part. "Flamingo's, guy in rubber pants!" :lmao: Sounds like AK should have another escape route for goodness sake! Glad y'all escaped though!

Ok I'm caught up but my brain is now mush and it's late so I will return with comments. Must sleep now!!

If you read Teresa's TR, they experienced another line butter when they were at Lilo and Stitch. What is with these people? :confused3

I'm glad you're nice to Jehovah's Witnesses, seeing as how Teresa, Mom, Dad, and David are all Jehovah's Witnesses! Most Witnesses are very nice people and are honestly there because they're trying to help you! So, hopefully everyone on here is nice to them!

I know, what's up with those hippos! I think they may have actually heard us and were just too snooty to reply. :snooty:

Great update! Of course, that has nothing to do with you mentioning me. :rolleyes1 I'm very shy and awkward around people I don't know. And knowing I was talking to the famous Diser Sisters made it even worse!

I didn't think you acted shy and awkward at all! I was afraid I was acting like a total dork! I always tend to say stupid things when I meet people for the first time.

Hey Heather!

You look super hot in your new sunglasses!:cool1:

Looking at pictures of Animal Kingdom makes me melt. I always feel like it's a million degrees there!

Why thank you!

Oh wait, you meant super-hot, like sweaty, didn't you? :rotfl: It WAS a million degrees!!

Ok I'm caught up but my brain is now mush and it's late so I will return with comments. Must sleep now!!

Sure you will! I see you commented 3x on Teresa's TR yesterday, not that I'm counting. :rolleyes1

I even gave you a shout-out!

Another Great TR!
Love all the outfits! Sorry about Sawyers orange stain. I remember when we were at WDW my sil's gave Kyle an icecream(choc) with no bib and he got it all over a brand new shirt I was so ticked!

Thanks for the cry about Teresa and her sweet baby boys. It took me half the report to stop crying:angel:
better now
Nikki had a pooh mobile in her crib too. Actually her whole baby room was pooh!

Great videos!

Unfortunately, the orange stains will not be the worst things that happen to Sawyer's Chip shirt. :sad2:

Sorry to make you cry, but I had to add that story. :sad1:

Thanks, I liked the videos, too. Corey took all of the video in the final video montage. I did the Tigger video myself.

My aunt's a Jehovah's witness too! Don't know why but I never just tell them I already HAVE the new watchtower....

I was pretty impressed that David actually made some pretty smart decisions, and kept his cool while they were lost! I was hoping he would tell a security guard what happened. From the way he told me later, he kept his wits about him while everyone else went into a frantic tizzy! (heheh, I got to say tizzy!)

There weren't any purple shirts left in Tessa's size! I went to three different Targets to try to find her one. That's just how much I love that child! I probably spent more in gas looking for her a shirt than the shirt actually cost!!! :lmao:

I had forgotten about the sunglasses dilema! I enjoyed the three paragraph epic!!!

Talking palm tree? :confused3

Aww, you made me cry too! That stuffed Eeyore was and still is very special to me!

Pictures of Arminda with her natural smile were few and far between on this trip!!! When we got home, she said, "Wow, why did I keep making that face? It makes me look so weird!" which, is what I tried to tell her for the whole two weeks!

Yeah, you have the video of Tigger doing the jig!

If I didn't have pictures of those paint guys, I wouldn't have even remembered we saw them!!!

Funny we both included a caption for the Flying dinos that said, something to the effect of "Hi Brian and Corey"!

Hmm, I could't find my picture of Arminda getting measured, I'll have to kidnap yours for my TR!

The Dinosaur ride terrifies me too Tessa! She should have stayed with me, where they keep the dead dinosaurs!!

That was pretty funny when Henry sat on the cart! Funny how we remember the same little things happening!

Weird, I honestly didn't think this was a very hot day at all. Corey and Brian agreed. I remember we talked about it while waiting for the parade. I love all the shade they have at AK. I'd so much rather be here on a hot day than Epcot or MGM. Now, those are miserably HOT parks. No shade at all.

Poor Arminda, both verticaly challeneged and born without a sense of humor! That pantless child was quite a shocker!

yes, we should have gotten those cutters picture!

Ok, it's just weird that YOU also made a joke about the girls looking for birds in the water!

Oh, I had forgotten about our whale talk to the hippos!!! That was funny!

I don't remember Sawyer feding any monkeys...HEY!!!!

Naughty is an understatment for that particular Jacob! He was as cute as they come though!

I felt the same way about the day Heather! I was hoping you did too! It really was special to me too!

Aww, it's over! I always want to keep reading!

The famous Diser Sisters!!! Now, that is funny! :rotfl2:

Thank you for not being mean, and I will forgive you for calling it a speil. You probably have NO idea how hard it is to talk to people who for the most part, do NOT want you there, and who can be really mean to you, just because we know it is what Jesus told us to do. The other day, my Mom and a friend of ours (a mentally disabled friend) were walking up to a door, and the people had a large dog which they came out to get. As they were holding the dog, one of the homeowners asked, "What should we do?" to which the other homeowner replied, "If they don't leave, we let the dog get them." My Mom quickly told them that they would be going and for them to have a nice day. It makes me almost cry that someone would be so cruel and hurtful to anyone, much less my 65 year old mother! My SIL told me that they use to let the dog out when the Witnesses came to their door too, and laughed when we got scared. Yeah, funny... As a child (I was probably 11), a guy told me that if I didn't leave his property, he was going to get his gun.

So, a smiling face, even if you are telling us that you aren't intersted, is very welcome!

Not me, I am totally cool and confident!!! :rotfl: Um, yeah, right! Why is it that the words in my head NEVER come out of my mouth the same way I think them!!!!!

Thanks for the cry about Teresa and her sweet baby boys. It took me half the report to stop crying:angel:

Aww,

Corey's first smile was at his Pooh mobile! He loved it!
My aunt's a Jehovah's witness too! Don't know why but I never just tell them I already HAVE the new watchtower....

You are just nice, that's not so bad! What congregation does your Aunt go to? There are a few of us Witnesses on this board!

I do feel the need to not quite defend the safari driver, but to explain that he was talking to an idiot woman with a VERY small child that she was just letting sit on the outside. He had told her several times to move her to the inside, but she wouldn't. He should NOT have slammed on the brakes, and he should have made it clear who he was talking to, but he was right for getting upset with the stupid mother.

That's TERRIBLE! I admittingly know NOTHING about your beliefs (and what I thought I knew is clearly wrong because I thought Witnesses didn't celebrate their birthdays/holidays). So sorry this happened to you. I just don't understand how some people can have so little tolerance!

Okay so I MUST address that outrageously RUDE driver from the Safari! I STRONGLY recommend that y'all send this video to someone at Disney. He was so beyond rude I was speechless with outrage! HE was being unsafe the way he slammed on the breaks...making rude comments about parents not caring if their kids get thrown out of the car...then to make mention of LAWSUITS?! Hello, fired much? yeah...seriously...send this video to Disney. At the very least they can have a chat with their ill mannered drivers about appropriate and positive ways to ensure that the safety rules are followed.

Oh HeatherSue...I'd have had WORDS with that man. Y'all would have had MissCammie's voice on your video asking him just exactly WHO he thought he was talking to?! I would have filed an accident report for poor Sawyers little head that whacked due to unsafe driving. SOMEBODY would have been getting their marching orders that day.

wow.

I have a very bad temper.

:flower3:

Imagine if I had been there.

okay...next...

All y'all are so flippin talented...the outfits the kids were wearing were absolutely FABULOUS!!! Y'all should be selling your stuff. You'd make a TON! Y'all both look great on camera too!!

Ummmm...OH...Tigger and the Irish dancing...that was SOOOO cute! Y'all must have some of the Irish in you!!!!

OHHHHH my gosh and also...

HeatherSue you are officially my HERO! You actually got VIDEO of Mr. Toad handing the deed to Pooh!! Can I just say that I watched that clip like TEN times! I'm SO going to see it this time! Sally and I are on the lookout!!

Did I cover everything?

I think so.

still mad about that stupid driver.

I'd have killed him dead with a look.

Great installments!!! :goodvibes

TeresaJoy, my aunt goes to Kingdom Hall. Being a JW has been very important for her. I'm not sure where it's located actually. I've only been there a handful of times myself. I can only imagine how difficult it is for you to just walk up to people's houses. That's awful that people can't just tell you they aren't interested! There's never a need for threats. When my aunt first started going our family was a little bummed cause she doesn't celebrate Christmas or birthday's. So we do miss her a bit when holidays roll around....

It takes a lot of courage to talk to other's about what you believe...no matter what it is. For some reason, many people in this country seem to think it's perfectly okay to be rude to JW's when they come to the door. It's an unwritten pass on common decency. I mean really...a simple "No thank you" works just fine. My step brother's girlfriend was Mormon and he decided to join the Mormon church when he was about 22. While on his mission he had guns pointed in his face more than once...for knocking on someone's door. Ridiculous.

My grandmother used to invite both Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons to come inside for tea! She'd always say "Let's see what we can learn from each other!"

indeed! tolerance people! Shall we?:goodvibes

Heather, I loved the update and the humor and I can really appreciate the hot day. I spent a day in MK from He double hockey sticks....it was sooo hot! I just love the character interactions and the real cool Chip and Dale outfits (even with orange on them!) The kids are just so cute and I love when Tessa was bird watching! She should come to Cape May....people do that all the time here!!! And I agree with Miss Cammie about sending the video to Disney! (I know you won't though cause you are just too nice like that! ;) ) Oh yeah I forgot about the whole thing with finding David....glad he got back safe and sound. Oh and I love your new sunglasses too! Score!:thumbsup2
