I filed with paypal as well but they cancelled it because they said I couldn't have a claim open on both ebay and with them. That made me mad because how was I supposed to know that? I don't remember reading it anywhere, but oh well. Ebay is just not for me I suppose.

I'm with you all on the Coach bags. I love my Disney Dooney and while I'm not totally against Dooney per se, I prefer a Coach bag if I had to choose between the two.

I'm loving my Cindy tote that I got for Christmas, but now I'm ready for a nother style. I really, really, really would like to see a cross body bag. And I must say that I haven't been too wild about the black with the rainbow Mickey's after someone posted the pictures of the tassel tote, I'm starting to change my mind some.

I just had to share a cute story ... I went into the Coach store tonight at the mall and after I'd been there a while and talked with a couple of the salesgirls, one came up to me quietly and said, "Can I see your purse? Is that Mickey Mouse? I LOVE Mickey Mouse!!" I picked it up and showed it to her (it's the black Wonder tote, and I also showed her the matching wristlet) and she was like, "It's a Dooney? No way!!"

She asked me how she could get one and my dh started teasing her about buying a bag from "the competition". She looked around and whispered, "No one will know what I carry when I'm not at work!"

My black one is my first Dooney, too. I really like it, and the material is really practical for gross Michigan winters. The only thing I'd change about it is I'd make the buckle that closes the top decorative with a snap underneath like Coach does -- it's kind of a pain having to unbuckle it all the time to get into it.

i agree with that, the buckle is a pain! these are my first dooneys as well and i am really liking them. in the past, ive only owned coach and lesportsac .. and i like them both for different reasons.

im still waiting for the dang crossbody bag too!! i didnt really care too much for the black multi mickey bags either .. till i saw them in person! now im the proud owner of one!

i know! the straps just dont sit on my arm well the way the large tote does (i have the large tote in the multi mickey print) it really stinks coz im not much of a fan of the leather patch on the new "version 2" totes .. but its a sacrifice im willing to make! the large totes are just so comfy on the arm! ive listed my medium wonder tote on ebay and ill see what happens ... heres hoping someone buys it from me!

The buckle isn't bothing me TOO much yet - but I think thats only because I'm still in the "honeymoon phase"!

Most times I can just un-snap one side and reach in to get what I need without having to un-buckle.

I don't think you'll have a problem finding a large with good placement. My leather tag only partially covers a small set of Mouse Ears and some scribbles, not any characters.

thats good to hear! ive listed my medium tote on ebay for $145 ..so that way i have a good amount to put towards the new bag!

I can't decide between the Medium and the large...HELP! What are your thought??? I generally carry a bag that is about 10” long at base,13" long at top X 9” tall X 4” wide and 16 inch (8 inch drop length) leather strap . I am worried about the straps on the medium not being big enough....

That totally sucks I didnt' know that either. UGHH ebay can be such a pain. So sorry that happened to you. What makes it worse is that ebay and paypal I thought were the same company. You would think they would want you to file with them so a they know a seller is selling knock offs as real and then you would have to file with paypal to get your money back.

Are you still in the window to contact Pay Pal again since ebay dropped the ball?

I had a bad experience with a woman who had an auction on e-bay, but a store that was not, but took google checkout. She was a "disney shopper" and never sent my items. Google said that they could not refund my money b/c too many claims had been made against her and that she had been removed from their services. I called my cc company and got my money. I submitted all my e-mail documentations and was refunded right away.

Since you have merchandise, albeit falsely advertised it might be a bit more difficult, but if you cannot get anywhere with e-bay and pay pal the cc company might be a good option to try.

Well, FWIW, that's an issue for me with purses, too, and the straps on my large tote are pretty darn near perfect for me. I don't think I'd want them any shorter.

If PayPal won't help you, file a chargeback with your credit card company.

Thanks for all the advice/help guys! I'm pretty sure it's too late to try anything else, as this all happened in November. But, my Coach crossbody bag that I got for Christmas made up for everything and I've just decided I won't use ebay anymore. I'm over it now. I try not to let stuff bother me for too long.

But yes, hopefully I can get a Disney Dooney purse on my March trip
