You only missed the tassel tote by a few days, that is frustrating. There is even a wristlet hanging with Minnie right on the front and it looked like they had a good selection of all bags.

Now I am curious if they really are done making bags....

I am sorry they didn't have a better selection when I was there. Hopefully you will enjoy your wristlet. I hope they don't stop making them

Here is a camera in the wristlet. The camera is a Canon 1100SD. There is more than enough space.

So what is the deal about them not making any more bags? I thought I read that on here, but when I went back to look for the post I couldn't find it. I thought maybe I had hallucinated it! It seems like these bag have done amazingly well - it seems hard to believe they would stop them so soon.

The lady that just posted the pics in WOD I believe made a comment about talking to a CM and that Dooney and Disney were not agreeing on some things. I am sure it comes down to $$. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens. I can't believe they would want to stop production when they are selling so well. My guess they do not have another line selling out this fast...

I have the large black tote and LOVE how it fits on my arms. I bought the original white tote and don't care as much for the stiff straps. Now that they have the new white large tote I want that one.

Did you happen to see how much the new white tote (large one) was? I am thinking $220...and the Cindy tote is $175?

It looks like it is in the pictures above when you put the Cindy tote next to the new large white tote.... but it is not. Volume wise I would say it is pretty close to the same. And with the snaps on the outside you can actually make it appear smaller. That is why I like it.

I ordered the wristlet on Monday. I was not asked which version I wanted. I remember the price with shipping was 54.95 so I am guessing I got version 1. I like the tage on the bag and the back pocket but I think that is on version 2. I wish they would have asked me which one I preferred.. Also, does anyone know the price of the barrel bag? Does it only come in black? One more question, is the merchandise hotline open on Saturday?

Version 1 was $45 and version 2 is $49. I cannot recall the price of the barrel bag but I believe it was around $180? It is somewhere in the last 20 or so pages of this thread.
Merchandise line is not open on the weekend however I have had good luck with emailing them and asking them questions and getting an answer on the weekend.

I was told by a CM on 12/26 that Dooney & Bourke had initially made the bags without contacting Disney. Disney then sued and won the lawsuit True or false, I don't know. She also said that's way the bags had changed in design.

I would love a wrsitlet with Minnie.. unfortunately the last day we were there 12/30 I was not able to find any. To those of you who bought the $220 black bag, is it hard to open/close with the buckle strap?

Disney is selling the bags-how would they not know about them? It's hard to believe a major company like D&B would be foolish enough to use copywrighted Disney images without permission.

I don't find it any more difficult then the white one that slips in the leather piece, I actually struggled with my white one more (probably because it is new and not broke in yet). I like the brass feet on the bottom of the black also..
