Well, after following this thread for MONTHS, I finally was able to get my bag yesterday! I live an hour away from Disney, and my husband has been calling the merchandise hotline for the last 3 weeks trying to find out when the white bags would be back in the parks' stores. I was all set to get the medium Cindy tote while on my December birthday trip the weekend of the 11th. I had just seen the bags the weekend before when I was there for Moms Panel training...so I was just waiting for my birthday gift card.
I headed over to TrenD and they were completely sold out. The black bags had just come out that weekend and had replaced the white ones EVERYWHERE. I was crushed. I asked the information desk cast member at World of Disney and she was told they were not getting the white ones back ever. I seriously almost cried, which is sad, I know, but I was obsessed! Then on twitter someone told me she'd heard they WERE getting more back in at some point. So that's when DH started calling daily to check. They got in the tassels first so I thought it was still a hopeless cause - especially when I saw on here that there was a new white re-design with Minnie etc.
I was just hanging out at home yesterday when DH called and said pack the kids up - Uptown Jewelers has "a good amount" of the bags! I freaked out and headed over there with my mom. Of course it was the busiest day of the year. Magic Kingdom was already closed by 11 when we were getting there. Luckily it was still open to Annual Passholders and resort guests, so I was safe. When I got in the park, the Christmas parade was on and everyone was being re-directed to cast member areas to get around Main St. I was like "but I need to go in the shops!" and they let me by. It was perfect because the stores were empty. They had about 5 of the medium totes in white, then the tassels and wristlets as well, all in the original white design. I was SO happy because I didn't want the banner in red, or the D&B tag.
They also had the barrel (small duffle) for $180 in the black Mickey design, but I didn't see the large tote that was just linked on ebay at all! I looked at the Grand Floridian store too, so maybe it was just WoD/TrenD that got them? In any event, while I do like the large tote, I couldn't be happier with the medium one I got, and $220 is a bit much, even if I am obsessed haha.
Anyway, just had to share my excitement.

. I got the white one. She said no two of them will look exactly the same if someone was wondering. I think that explains why the mickey, minnie placements are different.
I am not sure when it will come in, I will just have to wait. But they wont charge my card until it gets ready to ship. I am hoping that it arrives before I go to Miami at the end of this month.
