Just back from WDW and the bags were sold out at DTD and parks, other than 6 wristlets at MK. The cast members said they are selling as fast as they come in. I believe I had also read on this board that the collection was "limited" but not sure how limited.

Love this bag, must get one!!!!

I just ordered the big purse and wristlet for DW.... expecting them in by the end of the month... Those folks on Ebay are making a killing wow..

Ordered the tote and the wristlet from Disney this morning - they said they were getting stock in everyday, and filling the backorders before they ship them to the stores.

The bad thing about Ebay is not only the prices ($350 for the tote!), but some of the sellers have 12-18 bags!

I saw one seller this morning that is selling the large tote as a pre-order. Description says they expect to start shipping the bags in beginning of December!

I must have gotten really lucky last week winning a large tote for $227!! They are going for waaaayyy more than that right now.

I saw that, too. And to be honest, I found it kind of sickening that someone would hoard a product and jack up the price to such exorbitant levels.

I really don't frequent eBay much...is this a common practice?

Sadly.... its supply and demand...

Im just glad I thought of Christmas at the beginning of Nov...
Now I don't have to pay the higher price to get it quick...

What I don't understand is how these people can end up with that many bags, or bags at all when we have all been sitting backorders for three weeks..........something is fishy with that.

When I was there in October, I could have gotten several bags to sell, if I had wanted to. They were on the shelves a few times throughout the week. But I thought if I were to want one and they were all gone because they were being sold on e-bay, I would be mad. I think it's wrong. Just like it was wrong with Tickle Me Elmo and any of the other hot items of the time.

Yes well yesterday I was told the large tote won't be in until the beginning of December so I canceled my order. Chances are if it arrived tomorrow, I might not receive it before our trip in 16 days anyway.

TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! I also could have bought multiple of these and made a KILLING on ebay .. but i think its wrong. especially seeing all of you reply to this thread! i was so happy to see so many people here responding and really excited to have one of these! its going to be a great x-mas present for some of us and its a great way to keep a little piece of the magic!

I just called and ordered one of the wristlets. It's on backorder, but I was told they should be getting more in the end of the month. It's for me and not for any special occasion, so I don't mind waiting. The shipping was $9.95, so the total should be around $55 - I'm assuming tax will be added in there. A lot less than the prices on ebay (most listings I saw were starting at $85 or so). It also burns me when people buy a huge quantity of something specifically for the purpose of selling it on ebay and making a killing.
