I think everybody should boycott Ebay and stop purchasing the bags on there. That way when Disney gets another shipment of these bags the ebay sellers won't buy them all out and hopefully leave some for the rest of us who have upcoming Disney vacays!!! LOL Wishfull thinking?!

So I just called and ordered a large tote and wristlet for me and a wristlet for my DD. They guy said they were backordered but they will be here this month.

I e-mailed my DH a picture of the purse and asked what he thought of it and he really liked it, so I told him I really wanted one, so he said call and order it...SILLY BOY...he doesn't even know what a good purse costs...LOL...some times his ignorance is my bliss!

I am counting down my days...We will be in disney 11/12 and hope to find these bags. I called this morning to the Grand Floridian and they were out. ( A friend of mine was at disney). Does anyone have the phone numbers to world of disney or TREN-D?

Maybe I'm being the devil's advocate here but....

Hallowishes was the first to post something about these purses, with pics, and got everyone all riled up over them. Then we see the same exact pictures on ebay....if someone has purses to sell, why would they need your pictures of the purses Hallowishes? I'm not trying to be accusatory but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...well.... Hallowishes, your disboards location says North Royalton, OH and the ebay seller's location says Miami, FL but we all know how easy it is to fib about our location-some people don't list their location at all.

This may or may not be the situation. Maybe some idiot cannot take his/her own pictures for their ebay page. Maybe Hallowishes is attempting to make a buck off our desperation for these purses.
If I'm completely wrong, I apologize in advance.

Overall, it really doesn't matter. If someone has the money to go to wdw and buy these purses in bulk and then sell them to us at an inflated rate, they have every right to do that. They are only successful when we buy them.

Sorry I do not think it is Hallowishes who is selling on Ebay - she has posted that she has contacted the seller to remove her pic and I believe her.

Ebay sellers steal others pics all the time to sell items. I had an Ebay seller who used a picture I posted on another site for collectibles and when I found out about it I immediately contacted that seller to remove MY picture and I contacted Ebay.

I do believe that the Ebayer could be someone who frequents the DIS boards and probably decided to take Hallowishes picture to post for their auction because they are too lazy to take a pic or they are trying to scam others into thinking they have the item when they do not. Ebay is full of lazy scammer sellers. That is why I rarely use Ebay anymore.

I don't think it is right to use someone else's photo to sell your item. I hope Hallowishes hears back from ebay and the seller has to take it down.
I do want to say that after seeing this I did a Google image search for "Disney Dooney and Bourke" and this picture came up immediately.

The seller that was using Hallowishes picture was selling the bags as a pre sale....so I am assuming they don't even have a bag to take a picture of... people are actually buying them too because the seller had 8 bags when they originally posted the listing and are now down to 6!

I just checked the listing and the seller has since taken down the picture and swapped it with another.

I got my large tote today...I absolutely LOVE IT!! Here are some pics (I think someone asked awhile back for someone to take a picture of it on their shoulder to see the size):

I have seen people talk about a blue one but have not actually seen one or that it has been confirmed that one exists. I have the white tote on order (thanks for pics Kayla's Mom) but I would much rather have the blue one. I am in shock too that someone would accuse you of this Hallowishes.I don't know you personally but I think if it were you that you would have put them on Ebay weeks ago before all of these others popped up on there.
I think I am mostly in shock that people are paying these prices for them! I just wish that I could contact all of the bidders and let them know that they can call WDW merchandising and get them WAY cheaper! The wristlet is almost doubled in price and the large purse is through the roof.I think I feel bad for the people that don't know any better and the people that are ripping them off should be ashamed!

Mine didn't have any of the D&B paperwork with it...!! I got my purse in TrenD and my wristlet from the merchandise hotline .. That stinks

People steal photos all the time from online! I have had people steal pictures of my bows and clothes before and use them in ebay auctions! I am quick to contact the seller and use their name on all of my bow and clothes groups to call them out and let them know it's MY KID and things they are using...UGH people just irk me!

I didn't mean to offend you Hallowishes, but I've seen some crazy things happen and I'm not as niave as I once was. I don't know you personally, but I know that for the most part, my fellow DISers don't do things like this. I just thought it may not be a coincidence. You call it falsely accusing, I call it looking at things from all angles. This is a public forum and I believe I am allowed to state possibilities if I wish. Thanks.

No bags at Tren-D, Uptown Jewelers, WOD or Summer Lace Today. DH got me the wristlet for our anniversary on 10/20 and now I would like the tassel bag or a tote. I have never seen the tote in person since it sells so fast. They had 6 tassel bags at Uptown Jewelers at MK last Saturday but I hesitated. The lady at Tren-D said people are waiting at their doors in the morning to get in and see if they have had a shipment of them. No one was even looking at them at MK so maybe that is the best bet if they get a shipment in.
