I have never understood why people will pay more thru ebay than they could buy it for in the store.

They must've restocked b/c I was just there late Sunday night (10/18) and they had plenty. Saw them at Couture (HS) and at WOD downtown. Missed them at TrenD. I did notice that at Couture they only had the $175 "large" purse and WOD showcased the medium ($150) and wristlet ($45). My mother in Colorado was about to send me $200 to get one for my younger sister (21y). Umm... she has 4 Dooney's already... she can wait. I only have one (and 2 Coach purses) but I saw it first so I'm getting it first! Lol. I don't switch purses often either... my "everyday" purse is the pink signature DB tote. It's been awhile, time for a new one. My sister has the DBees, almost the entire giraffe set and a signature DB. None of which she has paid for herself. She is super-spoiled!

The large tote is comparable to D&B's Medium Cindy Tote, which has been around for a while. Here's a pic I found of the Cindy Tote, so I'd imagine that the fit of the large Disney D&B tote would be much the same.

How's that patience holding up, LOL?!

My impatience kicked in about 10 minutes ago. I called to find out the status of my order and they said it had just shipped and I'd have it on Friday.

When they said it would take 15-20 days to arrive, they weren't kidding...Friday will be 18 days!

I'm going through an incredibly difficult time in my life right now...I'm a Dooney & Bourke collector and have been since my Dad bought me my first one years ago. I LOVE Disney World and have been 13 times...it's a huge part of my family's memories. So, when I heard about these bags I had to have it. I just paid $290.00 on Ebay for it two days ago and I can't wait to get it. I think it'll add just a bit of sunshine to my tough days ahead.

I had the money and after being told by Disney Merchandising the other day that they are on their 3rd backorder order and that she couldn't honestly tell me when I would get one, then I went on Ebay. DH said it was my 40th bday present. I have no regrets and I won't feel a bit guilty when I ever get back to DW and see it on the shelves for $175. At least I will have enjoyed it.

As long as you enjoy it, and you don't mind paying for it, then that is all that matters!!! You will love it, it's adorable. I had several comments on it from the techs at the ortho this morning.

It's here! It's here! It's here! I got home from work yesterday and the box was waiting for me. I know it's a Christmas gift, but I opened the box to make sure everything was a-ok. The tote and the wristlet are soooooo cute. I checked them out and promptly put them back in the box until Christmas. But, before I did that, I had my daughter take a picture of me holding the tote. That photo is now my screensaver on my phone.....I hope my DH doesn't see it!

Heads up for those who had orders on back order, I just recieved a phone call from Disney and the wristlet that I had ordered and was on backorder is in stock and on it's way

I'm also still waiting for my tassle bag order to arrive - I see that my card has been charged so I expect it to arrive soon

Not a problem I ordered the tassle bag on Monday Oct 12 - that was in stock when I ordered and the CM told me that I would recieve it in 15 days. My card has been charged for that one so just waiting for that one to arrive.

Then I decided to call and order the wristlet a couple days later on Oct 15 and was told it was on backorder. The CM took my info and gave me a backorder # and told me I would get a call when they arrived and so they could get my CC info. I was excited that I got the call today to tell me that they were in stock
