Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 4

I think I like the button one more than the charm, but I am still partial to my Sketch. Could be because it is my only D&B.

Cannot wait for my Feb. trip to get here.

Thanks for the tip about zannaland! I don't know that I love the charms or buttons prints but I do like that they include a lot of characters that aren't seen as often such as the Brer Rabbit, Fox and Bear, Baloo, Thumper, Si and Am, Tiana, Bambi, etc. Brer Rabbit and Thumper are two of my faves! Out of the two, I like the buttons better than the charms. But the images look kind of blurry. I wonder if it's just the photos or if they are really kind of blurred in person? As for the charms, I think I like the black background better than the white.

Hey, I was just looking at the pics on zannaland again and if you look close at the retro print satchels, one of them has Epcot's Spaceship Earth on it as well as the giant hat from DHS and it looks like it might say Walt Disney World! Take a look. What does everyone else think?

Same here! I like the buttons one better than the charms, but definitely like the DL retro design MUCH better...too bad they didn't do one for WDW.

I was going to say the same thing...it looks like WDW to me.

I think I like the Charms pattern on black but I want to see it in person. I'd want Tink on the front.

I'm unsure about the buttons print.

YEESSSS! Good eye! I sure hope this is a WDW bag, it would make me very happy, although I'm sure I won't get lucky enough to find one on my upcoming trip - I had a heck of a time locating a comic print bag when I was there in Oct even though they had been released.

Yeah I was there in October too and did not see the comic bags. I think they originally stated they would be released in October but then they didn't actually hit the shelves till November.

I agree with all of this. I really like Brer Rabbit, and the fact that Chip and Dale are on the charms line, but neither line really does it for me. The WDW retro, though-- love it!!!

Does anyone know how long the 40th anniversary bags will be around? I have the Kristen tote (it's kind of a beast to carry) and wanted to get a wristlet to match. We'll be there first week of June.

Also, anyone spotted any bags at the Character Premiere outlet at the Orlando Premium Outlets?

This is exactly what I was thinking! I am getting the DL version because DL is my Disney "home" and I must have one. But now I'm thinking I may have to pick up the wristlet in the WDW version as well. Dh is going to love that.

Oh boy! Big excitement here on a Friday afternoon!

I do like the retro WDW print, whereas I didn't like the retro Disneyland print as well. Didn't like the pink castle on the Disneyland print (not that there was anything wrong with it, but Disneyland isn't my "home park.") But now with all my WDW favorites on the bag, I am more inclined to buy one! I still feel like they look kind of "western" but I am starting to warm up to that.

As for the others ... not a fan of the Charms design at all (didn't like the non-Disney version of this Dooney pattern, either... it just isn't my style).

I kind of like the Buttons design, but I can see myself being incredibly picky about the placement of the buttons (depending on the size of the bag). Would definitely have to choose my bag in person rather than ordering from a website. I do like the dark straps!

I guess if I had to rank my likelihood of buying the new patterns, I'd go with the Retro bag first, the Buttons second, and the Charms not at all.

Oh my goodness, I want them all! That is not good for my bank account! Each new design has good points, so I really don't know which I want most. Probably depends on the bag styles I can find.

I love, love, love the WDW retro print! Does anyone know when they will hit the shelves? I hope by Oct, I'll definitely picking one up on my next trip!
