Has anyone had problems with the red rubbing off on the satchel bags? On the reviews on ds.com, someone commented that the red was coming off the leather quite early.

Yes, many people have had that problem and posted it here and on the fb page. It has been a general problem. You will even find them at the parks already like that. If you go back over the last month and a half here you will see multiple people comment. Grumpycd is waiting to hear right now if they are going to replace hers because she sent hers back to Dooney.

I just saw the first Tinkerbell Crossbody purse on ebay. Believe it or not the starting bid is at $310.00

That's just nuts!!! Especially since (IMO) the placement is terrible.

I just got my FIVE (yes, I said FIVE) Lucy Sketches. NOT ONE has placement I like. Not one!! The good news is though that I was at my Disney store in the mall yesterday and saw a cross body Sketch there. Just one. Then I remembered that you can return items bought online to the store so I won't have to pay shipping. I'm glad I saw that bag there -- I had forgotten you could do that. So as sons as these are returned and my credit is on my credit card, I'm buying 5 more. I'm possessed now and on a mission...LOL

The good news is though that I was at my Disney store in the mall yesterday and saw a cross body Sketch there. Just one. I had no idea you could return to the store? for some reason I did not think you could do that.

I just looked at the Disneystore site and it says that you can't return Disney Parks merchandise. These aren't available in the parks so I don't know if they are parks merchandise or not since the whole line is a parks line? I guess I can try it first and see what happens. Hoping someone on the board might want at least one or two to save me shipping. If they are considered parks merchandise, that doesn't explain how/why I saw just one Sketch letter carrier yesterday in my local store?? And that is definitely available in the parks. I'll let everyone know what happens. Returning in store is much easier (and cheaper) so it makes playing the lottery a little less painful.

I wasn't planning on buying any WDW bags, but I came across a listing on e-bay I couldn't resist. I didn't realize until I opened the package today that I bought it from Liza. Thanks so much Liza, I love it!

I would be shocked if the Tink bags didn't show up in the parks. No bets on how long it will take, although you'd think they would want to get them in the stores for Valentines Day - yes? We can hope.

So sorry you weren't pleased with the placement on any of the bags. I hope they let you return in store. They must have made an exception for the person who returned the letter carrier, maybe they will for you too. Good Luck!


I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of everyone's credit card holders. Sounds like quite a few of us ordered them.

Oh dear, I have never ordered any bags from the website before, all of mine have been bought in person. With the exception of a cosmetic bag and Margo I bought from someone here. But, I just ordered the mini comic barrel, the red striped champsac and the black and white striped wristlet! And of course the card holder. Yikes!!!!!!!!! What have I done LOL?!?!
I still love the red comic, but until I hear it's fixed, I don't think I want it. I will see what they have when I'm at DL in June that I can spend more money on!

You can return parks merchandise to the store but you have to have the packing slip/return label. My future mother-in-law bought a Dream crossbody and a Sketch crossbody for her daughter for Christmas before deciding which one to keep and she returned the one she didn't want to our local Disney Store. I also purchased my 40th wristlet from the same Disney Store and just last week they had a large Sketch tote to sell as well.

My future mother-in-law bought a Dream crossbody and a Sketch crossbody for her daughter for Christmas before deciding which one to keep and she returned the one she didn't want to our local Disney Store. I also purchased my 40th wristlet from the same Disney Store and just last week they had a large Sketch tote to sell as well.

I'll probably just take one at first and then go back with maybe two others at a different time of day to get a different employee. They will think I'm crazy though. If I do this again, they'll get to know me well. Sorry you did not receive the placement you wanted. By the way, what characters did you want on the Lucy? Seems you got an abundance of Tinks.
