I love the turquoise bag in the left corner. I am begging hubby to get me up there in the morning...I was going to be there at 11am for the release of the retro wdw design, but if I can swing the budget I think I'm going to be getting up veeeery early tomorrow. Thank goodness it's one per person, that will help a little!

It looks like to me that the red price is the 30% off of the original price. It looks like the Kasey bag is sold out though! I was thinking about getting it....maybe next time!

No discounts offered on the Disney LeSportsac on eBags, but I noticed on the Kasey style that there were a couple new patterns I've never seen. So there is more to come!

It does look like some of the styles aren't included in the sale, but when i click on the Disney ones they are showing the sale price. Maybe because I clicked through the email??? or maybe I'm just looking at it wrong? Who knows.... I did notice that there were new patterns.

All the Disney stuff says "Coupons not applicable". The other brands that are on sale say "After 20% off " then give a price. Disney items are the same price as they are on the LeSportsac website. None of the LeSportsacs are on sale.

Well, I'm in line for the 930am opening - there are about 40 people ahead of me an hour before opening. I'd post a photo of the line but I can't figure out how from the app, so I'll do it when I get home. Looks like its going to be a crazy rush for the LE bags.

Sooo, they had 56 unreleased bags in the trunk sale. By the time I got in, they just had wristlets and canvas bags (a la pink bag with green Minnie faces). Of the trunk sale items, I got a canvas Tinkerbell bag $195 ( yellow bag with light brown Tinks) and hubby bought me a wristlet with red trim and Minnie bows $85 (it was in the photo on the blog yesterday!) since it was one per person and I couldn't decide (and he's a person so he could buy one too!). And then I bought the big retro pattern bag, too, because the placement was perfect for me. My credit card is in pain now....

I left the store to get out of the crowd but I'll try to get back in when the line dies down to get pics of the nylon backpack for the PP who asked for that!

Thanks for the update. I keep telling myself that I didn't really want any of the LE, so I didn't miss out. I'm sure I'll believe it soon, too!
Thanks for the vicarious shopping experience. I'm guessing the Tink one you got looks similar to the little bit of the green Tink on pink background you can see in the upper left corner of the blog?

Hi ladies, here for some info please. I have one Dooney bag I LOVE -- so much that I ordered a second one on sale so I have a "backup" in my closet. It is a small black bag with Mickey silhouettes on it, very simple (I think it might be called "Wonder.") I would love to add to my collection but here is my question, as I am concerned about "durability." If I splurge on an expensive purse, I really want it to last. My black bag has black leather trim, so that has held up beautifully... But it is the FINISH of the new bags that concerns me. The fabric my bag is made of, feels like it is covered in a zillion little tiny "dots" of the vinyl/plastic-y stuff they coat the fabric in. This is very durable. Yet when I have fondled the newer bags at WDW recently, they FEEL different. The new one I liked, for example, is white with comic strip design and it has rosy pink leather trim. But the bag felt "floppier" than mine, not as stiff. The coating seemed to be applied more "lightly" and not in those nice, chunky little "bits" that are on my black bag. The new bags somehow seemed to me that they might not be very durable. Can anyone comment, maybe someone who has a few of the bags and could compare one finish versus the other? I believe the original white bags (Sketch?) have the chunky coating like my black one does. Why are the newer bags being made differently, and can someone tell me they hold up well too? I am hard on purses!

Thanks for all the fun info here... and another two cents... I have a couple of Harvey's seatbelt bags in the Disney designs and I LOVE them. They tend to be heavy, so I have only ordered the smaller ones, but BOY are they tough. I have had my original one (in white) well over a year and it is PRISTINE. Just bought a bright red/blue one on Main Street and can't wait to use it!

For anyone interested, the "special guest" hinted at on the blog was a character named Isabella who is a fashionista and was basically there to keep the restless natives in line entertained while we waited. She picked 3 people from the line for a 'free' fashion assessment ($49.95 value :rollseyes:!) and hubby was one of the ...err... Volunteers. (He was picked on, he didn't really volunteer like the two others did) I have his fashion assessment on video - will post that later, too! (ROTFL) He's a good sport!
