I didn't realize that a new group had been started and the old one was closed.

Yes, it was changed from an open group to a closed one for more privacy.

Ok I sent in the request to join the group via my phone - hope it goes through!

We went back to DTD and had Ian Ray sign the LE bag. He immediately recognized that it was one of the unproduced bags. Pretty neat!

I also got pics of the nylon backpack that I will post when home. The nylon is soooooo soft - it's like parachute fabric! I will probably have to get one of those at some point in the future....the new sketch fabric for those has new characters on it....chip and dale!

I saw the backpack on ebay today and noticed immediately that Chip and Dale were on it. So cool. Looking forward to your pictures

I went over and got a white charms mini barrel! ;-) they seemed to have a few [or some styles] more then a few. Still good selection.

I can't wait for photos of the retro style! My current big bag is falling apart and I've fallen in love with the retro WDW. I hope some of the bigger bags included in the ones that go online in October!

I wonder how many of the people who purchased the special bags actually wanted them for themselves? I found a gray wristlet on ebay priced at $499.99. Hopefully nobody pays that big of a markup to this person.....

You'd think he'd have learned after 20 years of marriage. Should I wait until he's on a ride w/ my oldest and dart into a store?? That purple one CALLS my name!

You mean the purple sketch bags purchased yesterday? Those were from the sample sale and are not being produced. You might be able to find the purple sketch cross body bag at the parks, on ds.com or the Dooney outlets but they seem to be few and far between these days. I think these days it is mostly only found in green and yellow.

Here are the pictures of my one-of-a-kind canvas bag from yesterday.
Both sides and then the bottom (you can see the stitching on the bottom to reinforce the canvas), and then a closeup of the Tink pattern. I can tell you that there are several more bags like this floating around from the trunk sale, because I looked at them before choosing this one - one was the inverse color of this one (brown bag, yellow Tinks) and one was a really dark brown with red Tinks. There was also a canvas bag similar to this one in colors but with full-body Minnie Mouse on it (I almost chose that one!).
