Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 3

I wasn't planning on getting a Steamboat Willie bag, until I saw them in person yesterday. Loved them! I'm torn between the bucket tote and the rope tote, not sure which one I'll get yet, but I'm pretty sure one of them will eventually be coming home with me.

Hey Corrine, sorry your question got ignored. I missed it. But like the other folks who just responded, I didn't realize they were making the sketch pattern in different finishes. I tend to think the glossy finish might be a bit easier to take care of, but then I haven't had any problems with my white DCL bag in the original finish either, so may just be a matter of choosing the one you like the look of better.

I love the bucket tote, but can see having stuff just disappear in it. I am so torn. I wish I could try before I buy, but that won't be happening for some time.

I knew I was not being ignored on purpose, so that is why I posted again! Thanks for all the responses ladies! The bag looks the same, pattern looks the same, it is just shiny. The CM didn't know which was the newer version, and I have to say, there were far more of the matte finish, which I actually prefer the look of over the shiny one.

I am bummed I missed the 25% off code--we were in WDW at the time. Now that I am waiting for it they won't offer it for a long time! Thanks again, and I am glad I found this thread!

Hi I am new to the D&B Disney bags with a couple of questions.

Would anyone be able to post a photo of or describe the inside of the balloon susanna tote? The disney store only has a front view.

Does anyone know if the DCL sketch wristlets are on the Dream? I love those and would like to get one when we cruise this fall. I think I saw someone asking before on this thread but reading through I did not see an answer. I saw some on eBay recently but at $90 each.....

This is SO true. I really believed I would be just fine with one Disney Dooney. I'm not even much of a purse girl. I carry my phone, keys and cards, so I finally decided on the Balloon Margot. Loved it so much that I just got the Medium Sketch. I justify it by saying I may need a bigger bag for times when I need to carry a book or something somewhere. I wonder how I will justify my next Dooney bag.

I agree about the Lays analogy!! I bought my first Dooney (a wristlet) last year, and while I love accessories, for some reason I thought that one would be enough But now there are a bunch of bags that I love and would love to take home with me!

I broke down and listed my Dream wristlet on ebay. I think it is the only one out there right now. It's still New with tags with the DCL bag.

Anyways,my 30th birthday is coming up and I was thinking about asking for one of the 40th anniversary bags from hubby can some one send me some pics of the styles and prices so I can show him. He needs visuals. Thanks

well, I did it. I sold a red Dooney & Bourke tote yesterday and a few diaper bags and this morning bought my 1st ever Disney Sketch medium tote and Disney Sketch matching wristlet. I just had to have it. I knew after going to Disney in 3 weeks I would want it bad. Hurry bag, come soon!

I only have one Dooney if I can count the cosmetic bag. My new princess bucket is on it's way...an exchange for the balloon mini margot. That bag was so cute but a little too small. I am planning on stopping with just this one bag until I just read about the Dream DCL bags. I really was planning on just one D&B.

I have a Susanna and I love it! It is lined, to start. It has 2 pockets on one side (one cell phone size and one maybe 4 inches across that has a snap closure). On the other side there is a big (wide) zipper pouch and a big pocket underneath. There is also clip on a leather string. There is magnetic closure and a snap on either end on the top.

As for sketch wristlets, I heard from my friend they were not there on the 4/7 cruise, but a few posts back someone mentioned they have seen them in April on the Dream, so maybe they'd sold out. I have another friend on the Dream cruise that left Tuesday, and she is supposed to be bringing me back a sketch set Sunday. If they are there, you'll know! I've been coveting that set since it was released last April!
