that's too funny!!!!

my current issue with their IT dept is that you can't view your order history. For me it shows my orders only from 2001-2002. I like to check off my orders with ebates to make sure they have every one accounted for as sometimes they do get missed but thanks to their lame IT dept can't do that right now. I sent off an email and got a canned response back with no ETA.

I have the same problem. I was trying to access my Lucy order and it wouldn't show anything for the last few years. Fortunately I had my tracking email.

I offer this recent DS experience:

I bought an item that could be personalized, that I didn't want personalized. But the darn website wouldn't let me add it to my cart unless I put something in the personalization field.

So I called customer service to see if they could process my order. They said it was a programming issue, they were aware of it, and they couldn't leave that field blank either. They said to go ahead and order online and just put "no personalization wanted, leave blank" in the personalization field. OK, seems silly, but I did as I was told.

So my item finally arrives, and either someone was smart enough to figure out that they shouldn't actually engrave "no personalization wanted", or maybe that was just too long, but are you ready for this..... they actually engraved "leave blank" on it! Seriously, I'm not kidding!

Obviously the IT department didn't do the engraving, but it was their programming snafu that wouldn't let me add it to my cart without putting something in the personalization field. How crazy is that?

Did anyone notice that the 55th Kristen is listed as $195 on disneystore.com? I'm thinking that might be a typo from when they increased the prices to match the 40th bags. Just interesting...

OMG I just took a look! That is a SOME mistake! Too bad I don't want that bag in that print!

UPS just delivered my bucket style 40th Anniversary Dooney. Seeing it in person is so much better than the pics I saw on ebay. I didn't take too long before I hit the "buy it now" button. The price was great at $225 with free shipping It has all 3 characters in the front..donald, pluto, and goofy. Of course, I wanted the Magic Kingdom 1971 logo, mickey ears, minnie and mickey, and of course pic of Walt. To me, the placement is perfect. The straps are long enough on the bucket style, and the purse doesn't sit right at the underarm. Now, I also love the placement on the messenger, and will probably sell that one. Of course, now I am undecided as to whether to keep it or sell it.

Liza, both of your bags have my ideal placements We have the same list of favorites I love how Donald and Magic Kingdom are centered on the front Thanks for posting a picture of the messenger and bucket side by side As much as I love your messenger, I really think the messenger style will be too small for my every day use so I will go with the bucket I plan on printing out a picture of your bag to take with me when I go in 19 more days I just cannot wait Even though we land at 8:30 at night, since Magic Kingdom is opened until 1:00 AM, I am planning on heading over just to get my Dooney Are they still at the Emporium or only at Uptown Jewelers now??

I am thrilled with the placement! Most important to me were the DL flags, Mickey and Minnie and the ears. I got perfect flags and ears on the front and M&M on the back almost center.

I just could not pass up the 20% off ($200 bucket and $56 wristlet) and free shipping. I was also worried that they would not sell anymore in July when they have been out for 1 year since our trip is in Nov.

I noticed they increased the price on the lg wristlet to $85...was $70 last week when i bought! Whew!

What a great price on the Kristen 55th.....half tempted if it were not for the short straps.

That's classic! What did they say when you called about it?

By the time I got it and called to complain, they were completely sold out. So they credited my account and told me to keep it. I was too ticked to even get it out at the time, so it's sitting in my garage, still in the packing box. I can laugh about it now though, so maybe one day I'll display it anyway - I guess it would be an interesting conversation starter.

I wonder how long it will take them to realize their pricing error on the Kristin?

To save the 20%, I would have bought it from ds.com on sale and taken it (unused) with me to WDW. Then I would buy my perfect placement while there and use the receipt to go back and return the ds.com bag. Does that make sense? Basicaly you are buying one bag at say World of Disney, and then returning the ds.com bag there using the World of Disney receipt.

I used my 40th anniversary bucket bag for the first time yesterday (it arrived Wednesday). I love it! I had a very busy work week and it was such a pick me up having a fun new Disney Dooney to carry! I also got the balloon cosmetic bag which I used right away and was suprised at how roomy it is. I could actually use it as a sunglass case if I wanted.
