That's a tough one grumpycd! I like the front of your #1 and the back of your #2. Which do you like?

Which one are you keeping? I might consider buying one from you.

I'm keeping the 2nd, I really wanted a Mickey & Minnie together and they're perfect (may have to carry it backwards). I'm not a huge Tink fan, but the front has a full castle on the side which was important to me and the Tink is well placed.

Thanks! That was the first attraction I worked when I was a CM. Now if only they would make an EPCOT themed Dooney bag featuring Figment, I would be on cloud 9!

I got my 5th Lucy today and the placement on the front is nearly identical to the placement on my 4th (the one im keeping). The back has a full tink and a castle.

I also got my wristlet which im not in love with the placement. Ill post pics soon.

So you ladies that have gotten so many Lucy bags, have you thought of selling the ones you don't want on ebay? Since they are online only you may be able to make a profit. Just wondering.

I've been reading this thread for a little while now.
I just ordered my first Dooney the other day. I'm so excited to get it. I got the 55th anniversary Disneyland letter carrier. My 20th birthday is coming up in a few weeks so I thought it was a good time to get one.
I've wanted one of these for a long time, but when I was in Disney World for the first time last year I found all of the Disney Dooney bags. I just had to have one. So I finally got one.
I will probably get a wristlet or something on my next trip in November.

It just seemed like there were SO many Dooneys on Ebay. I guess I looked at it the opposite way that you are. You said since they are online only you may be able to make a profit. But I figured if someone can order directly through disneystore.com, why bother with an individual. Oh, unless it's the whole placement thing.

For me it's always knowing what I will be receiving. No stock photo means I know what placement the bag actually has. This is one of the main reasons I don't buy my disney dooneys from disneystore.com. The Lucy varies so much on the character placement because the bag is not too big to begin with. Currently there are no Lucy Bags on ebay.

You know, i wasnt going too but maybe ill list one and see. I just dont want to lose anything so i guess id have to start the listing at my exact purchase price (i guess plus whatever fees ill be charged) and see what happens.

I thought about selling my extras on ebay but wasn't sure about opening them but now I know that I can might do that next time. As long as you can sell them before the ds.com return date you would be fine. The ebay fees are roughly 9% of the purchase price before shipping plus insertion fees and paypal fees are 3% of the purchase price plus shipping so would have to take that into account as well.

I'm just plain lazy and don't want to mess with the whole ebay selling thing. Much easier to just send them back to the Disney store!!!!

My 40th anniversary Doney arrives tomorrow. I got it on ebay for less than MSRP

Now, I have to decide whether or not to keep the 40th anniversary messenger bag that I had already bought. But, since I also have the disneyland 55th messenger, I am thinking I will keep the bucket bag. I'll post pics tomorrow.
