I didn't want to quote with all the pictures, but I have a question about your necklace. Is the chain a pandora/chamilia chain or something else?

Hmmm. I wish I would have paid better attention when we were there in February. I love the 40th anniversary design, I just didn't love any of the styles. I think between the bucket and the messenger, I would like the messenger better and since it's the general consensus that they won't be coming out with any more styles, I might have to ask a friend who's going in July to pick up a messenger for me. I liked the size of the bucket. I like knowing I have extra room in case I want to toss my e-reader in it, or a magazine. I currently have a wonder tassle (I think that's the name) and it has just the right amount of room. What I didn't like about the bucket was the size of the bottom part. Does that make sense? It just seemed like it wouldn't hang right over my shoulder. And then I've been thinking a cross body style would be nice. Especially when I'm out and about shopping. But I'm kind of busty and feel like that would excentuate where I don't want to be excentuated. Do you mind if I ask what you all put in your messenger?

The messenger is a great size I had the disneyland wallet, camera, cellphone, cosmetic bag, and my car keys in there. If I put a smaller wallet in there, I would have extra space. Hope that helps.

In my messenger, I carry my HUGE phone, two slim style credit card wallets, a pen and it's pretty darn empty. Over the weekend I had that, 2 cd's, my large sunglasses and my coupon binder for grocery shopping. I am not sure if my Kindle would fit, I think it would. A magazine however, would not.

My Kindle fits, it's the 2nd generation.
It's the perfect size for me. I carry my wallet, zip around, not checkbook, couple of pill bottles, keys, pens, travel tooth brush case full of straws (best idea ever!), anti-bac wipes, can fit a bottle of water in as well if needed. The back pocket is nice and deep, I put my iphone in there for easy access, and so I can hear it.
It's still not packed, well, unless you add the water bottle.
The strap is great, converts from a cross body to an over the shoulder so easily.

Has anyone else had any luck with getting a Lucy bag, or know if they will be online anytime soon? I think Nikki originally was told they would be available in Feb but thats come and gone now.

February IS what they said! Wonder if it will ever be available online or in the parks! You could always call disney shopping and try. That's how I was successful.

I took some pictures with my Kindle in it, don't have a water bottle here, but I thnk it would have fit.
The bag does not look stuffed, took pics of what's in it, from the front and from the side.
Now, I'm not saying it's not heavy as hell, but it is very roomy!

I am busty as well and have had trouble with cross body bags fitting me.
I love the Dooney and Bourke cross body bags. The straps can be adjusted to be quite long and the cross body bag falls where it is supposed to. I have the black balloon cross body, the Dream cross body, and the Sketch cross body in blue. They all fit fine. I am 5'10'' and and size Xl top.

So, for anyone that follows this thread deeply. . . .
awhile back I posted that I got a cast member of the Disneystore.com telling me that if I sent back the bag I got from them, that had placement I didn't like, that they could exchange it for my requests.
This was apparently VERY wrong.
AFTER I sent back the bag I got not one, but two emails saying that they do not meet such requests, that the bags come the way they come from the factory and so no requests can be made.
Um ya, no kidding. . . they don't assemble the bags there at the warehouse???? sheesh!
Even when I called and explained that I wasn't stupid and KNEW already that they came premade! That I was asking that whomever fulfills the replacement take two seconds and look at a few of what they have on hand for a Disneyland sign on the front.
Apparently that was too much to ask cause, time energy, and postage paid, are all wasted. . . . .and the replacement they sent me is WORSE than the first.

So, have no fear I have a friend now willing to help me out from the westcoast to help make this headache just go away.

But I wanted to post in case anyone read my previous post and got their hopes up, because disneystore.com will NOT take placement requests, even if you get a castmember to tell you otherwise.

At this moment you can only buy them at disney world. But I do have the disneyland 55 pattern and love the placement on it.

Ya, I was pretty annoyingly persistent. Lol. I sent a total of 5 emails, called 4 times (once to a supervisor, and had even sent a note, with pictures with the bag I sent back, and an irate customer survey. Other than the survey I had used a mix of vinegar, as well as honey. All of the responses were negative after that one niave cast memebr who told me it could be done.
It's ok, I'm done dealing with them for now. Too much frustration.

I didn't return it to Disney. I emailed D&B and returned it to them. Initially, I paid the shipping ($10) and they said they would reimburse me the shipping if my purse was determined to be defective. They did determine it defective and I got a check in the mail for $10 (which is the max they will refund) about two weeks after I got the first replacement purse.

The blue on the straps is coming off of the one I have.
I need to get it replaced. But I am worried because the one I have is perfect placement. And I am not sure who to contact?
