Thanks for the pictures. I really would like a 40th print in a handbag about the size of the tassel sketch. The tote shown is too big for me. A wallet would be fabulous!!

The DL55 collection was released in July, but the wallet didn't show up until October. So even if no one reports seeing a wallet in the new WDW collection in the next few days or weeks, don't give up hope.

I will say the wallet is the absolute hardest thing to find good placement on, at least IMO. So be prepared if you're picky about that.

Wonder if they're ever going to attach the heart medalion to the balloon bags? Hope they do that in the future if they're going to keep that line as a "replacement" line. Really want to Margot but I'm waiting to see if they resolve the medallion "issue" first.

Did you get both Margots with the hearts or did they come without the hearts from Disney shopping I got a white Margot on eBay and the seller waited to ship it until she got her heart Now it is complete I noticed there were no Margots in the new photos

Sheila I had forgotten about that. The wallet was indeed released months later. As far as being "picky" I certainly fit that description. I can only imagine how long I would take to pick my 40th anniversary dooneys. But, if I do go in October and you want anything I will be more than happy to get them for you.

Yes, I believe it is a park map. My favorite part of the pattern is the train!

So from the pics the characters added are pluto,goofy, and donald? Cupcake what are your impressions of the bags since you saw them in person?

That sounds about right with the characters. It's hard to take it all in on my first sighting. I wanted to see Chip and Dale too, but I think it's just those three from what I remember. I liked the bags much better in person than from that Ebay pic. They are much brighter!

Overall, I'm still sort of disappointed that they are so similar to the Disneyland 55th ones. I kind of hate that so much of the merchandise for all of the parks is identical now and that Disney does less and less specific merchandise. Even though they have the other park icons that are from the World on them, I wonder if we could tell a Disneyland one apart from a WDW one from afar? We'll have to get someone who buys both to post side-by-side pictures.

I really like the design of the messenger because it's much more functional than the letter carrier. It's the first Disney Dooney that I would consider carrying other than the mysterious Lucy Sketch that I can't find. I'm just not convinced the messenger is worth the price especially with the cloth strap and the much much bigger tote bag only being a little bit more. I'll have to think about buying one if I can find one with perfect placement and at a super discounted price.

I agree. This wristlet is much nicer. Speaking of prices, the wristlet is still $49. Letter carrier $155 and the Cross body $255. I believe the tote was either $270 or $275.

The Disneyland 55th one is on disneystore.com and the dimension are listed as 12'' H x 14'' W x 6'' D.

40th anniversary bags are at epcot mousegears today. They have letter carrier, wristlet, tote, and the bigger crossbody just like Disneyland. Pictures are coming.

UGH!!! They show up 8 days after we leave the world. I am so sad! I would really, really, really like one!!! It would be nice if they would offer it in that bucket tote style. I love the looks of that one.

Although I currently own a Large Sketch Tote - the new 40th Anniversary bags are so much more "my style". The sketch pattern is just a smidge too whimsical for me, and sometimes I'm not comfortable wearing it in certain situations. But this new pattern, with more neutral and subdued colors, I could totally see wearing everyday!

I can totally remember some of the retro logos/pictures featured in the pattern. In fact, I KNOW we had that "Walt Disney World - The Vacation Kingdom of the World" bumper sticker!

Can't wait to get one when wer're there in October!

The DL 55th has a bucket bag. I wonder if WDW will get one for the 40th print? Everthing else out so far is the same, right? That tote is too big and the messenger too small for me.

Hey, if it happens at least they should be more affordable and washable, but will be interesting to see how they turn out.
