Does anyone know when this will become available on Disney Shopping?:rolleyes1

Not sure if it ever will be. :confused3

I have been waiting for the Disneyland 55th wallet and I am still waiting.....

And for some reason, there are not many 55th bags or wallets on ebay.

I am just afraid that they will not have them when we go in November.

I once ended up with an extra DL55 wallet that I listed on e-bay. After it sold I got several e-mails asking if I would list more. So I bought one and put it up. I had to relist that one 3 times before it finally sold. :confused3
I wasn't trying to make money on the deal either, I had it priced at break even (although that was over MSRP with tax, seller fees, and shipping figured in)
I think wallets are the toughest thing to find nice pattern placement on though. I liked the one I had listed, but maybe it just wasn't what the people who asked me to list were looking for?
Anyway, long story just to say it was too stressful for me. :rotfl:

So the New New purse came today adnt they delivered as promised!!! A clear unobstructed Minnie and Mickey!!

I am so happy that you were able to get the placement you wanted :woohoo: Congratulations :yay:

I'm so glad they came through for you and sent a bag that was closer to the one you originally picked out at WDW.

I LOVE that cabinet full of handbags, one for every occasion and then some I'd say! That's awesome, thanks so much for sharing your pictures Rachel.

In fact I love seeing everyone's pictures. :thumbsup2

I uploaded a couple of mine too:

My DL55 Bags

A bit of everything, I'm pretty sure these will all be keepers

I do have a few other bags that aren't pictured, but I consider them here on approval as I'm not sure whether I'll actually keep them or not. I tend to over buy and then sell what I decide not to keep. :rolleyes1

Sheila, I love your Disneyland 55th anniversary collection :lovestruc You have such terrific Mickey and Minnie placements  I am sure it took a great deal of time to pick out just the right bags but it is so worth it :cool1:

Sheila, how do you like the size and shape of the DL55 bucket bag?? I wish the 40th came in a size like the Colette or Mickey Wonder but since it doesn't, I think the bucket bag is the way I will probably go :dance3:

I'm looking at everyones collections and thinking to myself....boy we do have a serious problem...:lmao:

I think so far out of all mine I use the balloon drawstring and 55th messenger the most.

LOL, so true! :lmao: I have been good and only have three bags. The original Cindy sketch, the tassel Wonder and the tonal Mickey bag (forget the style name). I use my Wonder the most and the sketch second most.

Per the Disney Parks Blog:
To help us celebrate the official launch of the 40th Anniversary co-branded Collection, Walt Disney World is welcoming back Ian Ray, Creative Director from Dooney & Bourke. It was around this time last year that Ian joined us for the release of Minnie & Mickey Faces & the Tonal Mickey co-branded collections. Ian Ray will be making a special appearance at Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom on Saturday, February 26, 2011, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Anyone going today? Wish I was! They usually have a "gift with purchase" - & there's a couple of bags I really want - bucket, wristlet, & wallet. Getting my bonus check next week ........ which ironicly comes out to the cost of the 3 bags I want ....... so I hope Dooney enjoys my bonus this year! :rotfl2:
I was hoping they would have the 40th cosmetic bag as the giveaway (which I'd love to have too) - maybe they'll do that when they FINALLY sell the 40th collection on-line. Whoever gets to go - ENJOY! :worship:
Hope the bags are still in the park in November when I FINALLY get to go again!

You're not kidding! :rotfl:

I love looking at all the pictures though. It's nice to know I'm not alone with my addiction!

I'm sure many of us never thought we would be addicted to these disney dooneys when we first bought our first purse:laughing: Now, not only do I visit the disboards several times a day, I also have to check Ebay to see if my "perfect placement bag" is being sold at a reasonable price :surfweb:

If anyone attends today's disney dooney event at Uptown Jewelers, I hope you take pics for us to see. Hope everyone is having a great weekend:)

So glad to see that I am not alone! :grouphug:

The handle drop was the biggest thing that sold me on the Bucket Bag. I'm an over the shoulder gal all the way. While I'm sure I could fill more space if it were larger, it actually holds quite a bit, so it works for me. My biggest complaint is the buckle closure, I'm just not a fan. But one nice thing about the size and shape of the Bucket Bag is I don't feel like I need to do up the buckle if I don't want to. I just flip my bag backwards so you don't see the cutout for the closure, and I leave the top undone. In fact when I shop pattern placement I usually try to find bags with completely different front / back / inside panels so I get as many different icons as possible, but with the Bucket Bag I actually found one that had identical front and back panels specifically for that reason.

Guilty as charged. :guilty:

Thank you:) The auctions are doing OK......I've lost money on some and made money on others....lesson learned!!! I'm not buying what I know I won't use and I'm going to start using more of what I already have.

As promised here is some pics of my new Dooney.

So I finally got my collection together for a picture. Not the greatest picture but it works :thumbsup2 I would have never thought it would turn into such an obsession. I remember it just like it was yesterday...January 2010 walking into Uptown Jewelers and absolutely losing it over the 1st edition sketch. My poor DH should have never let me get it :lmao:

EDIT: I just realized that I left out my black and white striped tote. Shame on me!

:thumbsup2 EVERY BAG SHOULD BE GREAT!
ITA!! Even my husband agrees. It took me almost and hour to pick out my large sketch tote in MouseGears in Dec. He was very, very understanding about the placement and told me to take my time get the one that I want it was too expensive not too! I looked at at least 6 bags. Found one that I LOVED!!! The rest is history! LOL!!!! All of this while keeping my 8yr DS and my 4yr b/g twins amused.LOL!!!!

I totally agree that every bag should be great:lovestruc The beauty about placement is that different things speak to different people :yay: It's the marketing behind all the different Disney resorts ~ different people love different resorts for their own reasons :cloud9: I am definitely a placement person and it can all pay off because on my blue sketch wristlet, I got 3 Tinks and 3 castles  Of course, even after I found my perfect placement, I could not stop myself from checking all the blue wristlets in every store I went into :rolleyes1
