Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 3

When I got up today I was certain I would return it. But then the positives points here got to me. It does have a Mickey and it's not like it cost a lot. Should I keep it or return it??? I'm so torn.

Honestly, I would return it. I don't like the placement. But placement is so personal. What is perfect for me isn't perfect for someone else. KWIM? How do you like it?

I use mine as a coupon book. I used blank notecards to make dividers (4x6 cards cut to size) and then I put the coupons I plan to use on that trip and my shopping list in the outside pocket.

I'm sure you can find a use for it

I would check ebay for them if you want to see what you are getting before your purchase if you can't get to the park to choose your own. The white sketch print is tough to find a good one because the print is so big. We looked for eight days and finally found one with a Mickey on it in almost the same place yours is.

This is a great suggestion. I bought a yellow wristlet on Ebay because I loved the placement. I didn't even want a yellow one.

Hoping someone has heard something about OCT 1.
For the princess 1/2 marathon the princess print was 20% off. Anyone heard if maybe for the wine and dine 1/2 weekend the 40th anniversary print might be on sale. The 5k is on the 1st??

I don't think we will see a discount on the 40th print for some time they can't seem to keep them in stock as it is. They have been try to sell the princess print any way they can so I think thats why it was 20% off.

I am so upset. My Minnie Bow Tote has a strap that is detaching.....I brought it into the Dooney Store and they said to try and resolve this with Disney but then I can also call Dooney but I just want my bag!!

Going in two weeks....anyone know if there are still any Minnie Bow Totes ...

I was thinking of trying to find the direct number to Trend-E....to call and see if they will exchange it for a new one. It IS a heavy bag and I dont want (and wasnt planning on) bringing it down with me....unless they can exchange.

Im so sad... I LOVE this bag and have only been using it for two weeks

Thanks it is the large sketch tote. I love it and when I am not using it I put all my other wristlest and letter carriers in it.

Hi Everyone!

I'm here at the parks (arrived last Thursday) and thought I'd give an update on what I've seen so far around the world.

Day one I went straight to Magic Kingdom and went to the jewelry store. They had 40th anniversary, sketch white, mickey balloons and minnie bow patterns in every size and wristlets! They had all colors of the sketch wristlets and crossbody. I bought a 40th anniverary crossbody and a medium sketch bag (not sure what the right name is). Got really lucky with placement as both the ones I bought were the FIRST ones I looked at!

Hollywood studios I saw large sketch, colored crossbody and wristlets. Only 1 mickey balloon bag.

Epcot last night had sketches, all sizes and wristlets and a few 40th anniversary.

Contemporary had a few sketch's only, not good placement either. Nothing at the Poly or GF.

Went to the outlet 2 days ago and they had 2 mickey balloon and 2 princess med. size bags. That was it.

Going to downtown disney tonight...looking for a white sketch wristlet with good placing!

Oh, and I've had a ton of people ask me about my crossbody in the parks! A lot of the CMs are also saying they have been putting off buying one, but they all seem to love the 40th pattern.

One is on Vineland Rd. Which is off of international drive, south of Sea World. The other is at the top International Drive. They are both Premium Outlets. You can find them online.

While visiting DLR in Aug. I bought the yellow wristlet.
I love these bags!!!

To me, the wristlet smells like Main Street. So I'm sniffing often.

Aww, very sweet hubby. Sounds like you've got a nice little collection of Disney bags started.

I figured the DL55 and WDW40 patterns would be a limited run. It doesn't really make sense to carry an anniversary pattern for too long. I would have expected them to keep selling the DL55 bags until the end of the calendar year to get as many Christmas sales as possible though.
