My mom is using her Wonder tote and every time I see it I think I should switch. It really pops and I love the straps.

Well I tried the DL tote out again and it does poke under the arm a bit. There are these kind of large flaps right where the handles are and I'm wondering if you used it for awhile if they wouldn't loosen up a bit and maybe fold down, if they did then it would be much more comfortable, but I really wish they had the DL pattern in a style more like the medium sketch tote. I'm still not sure what I will do with my tote, I just can't make up my mind.

Hallowishes: Is that the large sketch tote? Also in the pics it looks like the wonder tassel tote is close to the same size at the wonder tote is that true? Thanks

I haven't posted here for so long - it is nice to see that everyone is still addicted to the Dis Dooneys! I've been busy this summer and haven't surfed here much, but glad to see this long running thread still going

I would be interested in a Facebook site for trading. I was actually fortunate enough to visit Vault 28 recently, and ended up with extra wristlets. Would love to offer them to someone from here at cost but it appears that trades and selling here has been squashed. I guess you can email me if interested at

Hi everyone, Haven't been around for a while due to death in family. But, I have been trying to watch my e-mail notices. So there is a new Disneyland 50th anniversary edition. I have a couple of questions.

1. Where can I buy one? We are going to WDW in October, do they have them there?

2. Is the Messager style a shoulder bag? From pictures on a preview site it looks like one. How much does it hold?

3. The cross-body style (three zipper little number) seems like a lot of people like that one for the parks. What all can you get into it?

4. Are there any pictures of either of these bags with someone wearing the bag this thread? If you could give me a post number I will go look.

Poohbear158: That sounds like a great idea! Most of disney dooney addicts here buy our bags and then change our minds. This would let us trade among ourselves. As well as post when we saw a great sale going on.

Okay ladies, I think it is time for a new D&B for me. I have the tassle tote first edition, which I love, love, love, but don't use too often becasue I Love it. When we were in DL in April I bought the wristlet in the second edition which I think I will use at WDW in October.

Okay so the new bags are for Disneylands 55th anniversary, which was EXACLTY a month ago!! Holy cow, it seems way longer ago that I was there picking up a million bags for everyone...geez... anyways

1) They are only available at Disneyland or thru Delivears, you can not purchase them at WDW, since they are a DL bag.

2) Messenger bag is quite a decent size, and yes it is a should cross body bag Hallowishes has pics a ways back of hers, and wearing it too. But I do not remember the page number. I want to say in the 70's maybe...it was a while ago.

3) The smaller bag is called the Letter Carrier, it is pretty small, but perfect size for the parks. Haven't used mine yet, but I'm guessing I could fit a small wallet, my phone and camera and that is it.

I'm sure you'll get lots of responses... hope this helps a little!!

I hope that we can continue to share the love of all things Dooney and Bourke on FB. Please feel free to share the FB page with all Disney Dooney lovers. Hopefully, we can continue the sisterhood of Disney Dooney by trading, buying, selling and sharing our goodies on our new Facebook page and not have to worry about breaking any disboard rules. Enjoy

In light of this public service announcement... maybe we should open a Facebook page that way we can trade and sell from there. I know there is a Vera Bradley Facebook page that does just that. Not sure how many people would be interested, but I would be willing to create the page... what do you think ladies?

I would not get one though because who knows what the placement would be. Does anyone think they are selling these too much and making them less special? I do, in a way, but I guess for someone who cannot get to Disney and does not like eBay it would be good for them. Maybe they should spend more time making different handbags with the prints out now? I would love a pink tote

I'm a little worried about the lack of the purple lc. They have the wristlet in purple and they show the lc in purple...I hope they're keeping that color! I'd rather take my chances w/ dad picking one out, but I would jump if they offered a good discount.

Sorry for the delay on the reply. Just got back from a Disney cruise. I used my AP discount in Jan and May of this year at the store on Main Street.
