I was given a tonal D&B MM letter carrier and really don't like it. I don't have the receipt, but the tag is still on it. Do you think I can exchange it at WDW when I'm there next week?

Did you find anything out? I am in the same boat, have tags still on it but no receipt as someone bought it for me. I have never used mine either.....let me know what you find out. I would like to return it when we go in Nov. and get something different.

Are these only available at DL or on ebay? Are they available at any online retailers at all? I love the pattern, and we are going to Disneyworld in Oct....but I am sure they do not sell this pattern there. I wish they sold a similar style for Disneyworld, as I like it a bit more than the sketch pattern.

The only place you can buy them is at disneyland. I'm not sure if Delivears is doing them or not, but you wouldn't really get to pick your placement. Best bet is ebay if you can find one reasonably priced. Or see if any DIS ladies will be there anytime soon to help you out. The pattern is the best disney one they have!!!

My new green letter carrier arrived today. I LOVE it. It is going to be a perfect size for when I am just running out for a few things and great for vacations my camera cell and keys and small wallet all fit. Still hoping for a wonder tinkerbell messenger.

I got a green wristlet at DLR. I really like the color, but wasn't sure if I wanted to commit to a letter carrier. I really wanted a purple lc, so I got that. I know I should have tried to match, but the placement just wasn't doing it for me on the purple wristlets they had in stock that day . And, I'll be at WDW in 3 weeks, so I can save that purchase for then. I had a good Dooney day a few weeks back. Got at DL55 messenger bag and wristlet as well. I do wish the DL55 letter carrier would get back in stock. I really NEED one of those!

I use my wristlets as wallets and yes they will fit into the letter carrier although there isn't very much room left. HTH.

Is that the large satchel? I think there are/were 2 sizes of the satchel in this pattern.

I think they sell certain styles at DW. I ordered these from their website. They do sell out on their website, but on their blog new designes are scheduled to come out next year

I love the DL 55 pattern best too, but Disneyland is my "home" park, so that makes sense.

I'm amazed at all the handbags you picked up for people Hawky, especially since you were on vacation at the time. I think trying to do that many would have been too stressful for me.

But I have picked up bags for a couple of Dis-ers. (hi ladies )
I don't mind helping out a couple more, but I do prefer to keep it on a small scale, and for folks who know just what they want. So if someone has something specific they want me to look for, shoot me a PM.

There are decent deals on e-bay too though. I listed a couple of extra bags I ended up with there at what I thought was cost, but I underestimated all the stupid fees, and I actually lost few dollars on a messenger bag I just sold. And there were 1 or 2 BIN prices that were a couple of dollars less than what I sold for. I'm sure most e-bay sellers were able to get the bags at 10%-20% off, so they can sell at a reasonable price and still make a little money on the deal, if they will.

Great bag. Each day I get closer to pulling the trigger on the tote. I keep hoping the ones on ebay will go down a bit but then I fear that I will wind up loosing out. What if it is limited edition and they suddenly stop producing, then the ebay sellers are going to really go nuts with their pricing.

This is exactly what I was worried about. I just went ahead and took the plunge and I'm so happy I did. The DL55 tote is amazing! I'm so pleased with the placement and size. I think that they ebay ones will only go up cause they seem to be selling well. I just hope they are still selling this pattern when I'm in Disneyland in February. Keepin' my fingers crossed

I have been eyeballing those bags for the last couple of trips and had finally decided on the white one. I was going to pick it up on our last trip, then they came out with the dooney's and well, I'm hooked. Congrats on your bag, I love it!!

I think I have finally decided that I'm going to try and get rid of a couple of my letter carriers, if I can do that then I will get the DL 55th tote. I can no longer resist.

Going slightly OT here... it's a handbag question, but it's not Disney or D&B related.
Oh the horror!

Does anyone know much about Junior Drake handbags, or better yet, does anyone have one?

I had never heard of them, but I was shopping today and I picked out 2 different handbags in 2 different stores, and both were Junior Drake. So when I came home to google the co., I found out that they're having a warehouse sample sale this weekend. Hmmm

I hate dealing with L.A. traffic, but I'm thinking it just might be worth the trip. I really loved both bags I saw today, and they seemed well made.

So am I just way out of the handbag loop, have you gals heard of this brand?

On that wonder tote, how does it close? It looks like it is a buckle. I like the shape of that bag the best, but it seems like having a buckle closure would be a major pain. Is it a fake buckle that snaps or do you really have to buckle it each time? Thanks!
