Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

Well I must confess that I have not been a Disney cruise yet (have Alaska 8/16/11 booked) and did not want to take the chance that the purses would still be there in 15 months...
I actually have got more compliments on the cruise one than the regular Sketch...the navy and red really stand out. The characters on it are so cute all decked out in cruise gear.
I found a Dis'er on here that was willing to pick me one up during her cruise and I am eternally greatful!

I grabbed this one because I liked that it had the here you leave today plaque on it right in the dead center. Hopefully these don't end up as huge as my last picture!

I wasn't sure about that one, but I really like the way it looks on. Villians would be great or Nightmare Before Christmas! I am a huge fan, have tons of shirts and a Jack Skelington trailer hitch cover on my car. I would love that!

As soon as Villains was mentioned I thought of Nightmare too! We have a whole Nightmare/Haunted Mansion thing going in our house (in addition to Mickey everywhere!). The possibilities are endless!

Love Love Love the look of the cruise line bags! But I have never been on a cruise so my policy is that you can't have items that represents something that you've never done or a place that you've never been. Kind of strange I know but I would feel so weird with a cruise line bag without having been on a cruise. My checkbook is very happy about this policy.

I'm the same way. I want a DCL one but refuse to look at them on ebay. But it also helps that we have two cruises planned next year so I should be able to buy one on board

LOL - I did the same thing with Club 33 ears. I looked at them on eBay but since I had never had the chance to eat there, I wouldn't let myself buy them. Then earlier this month, we had the opportunity to finally dine there but they had no ears available in the Club. So afterwards, I ordered them on eBay (fair game now that I have actually eaten at Club 33, LOL).

Oh and I just decided, that I think they should come out with a VILLIANS pattern!!! That would be AWESOME!!! I love my main Disney characters, but I'd totally rock the Villians!

Im not a huge villain fan, but Im sure it would sell well and be great for both Disney and Dooney. Nightmare before Christmas would go over very nicely too. A lot of fans would go for that.

I would like to see a Disney Christmas holiday pattern. I would hope they would do it in a messenger style bag, so the bag is big enough to take all the cold weather accessories we all carry, like umbrellas, gloves scarf etc.

It would be really nice if they did these designs but made WDW and DL different. Each park has a different take on all these events and it would be cool if they showed that. If they did a xmas one it would be nice if DL had it s castle and WDW had theirs. With the lights on it. Oh my gosh that would be so cute. And how fun if the bag lite up. Boy would that raise the prices sky high. But people are into waring things that light up at night in the parks, so why not a hand bag?

Maybe we all should go work for the Disney Dooney design team. We could design things that would make them money and get the CM discount.

I think a villains pattern would be great!

And I'd be first in line to buy a backpack style DB in any of the Disney patterns. I usually just carry a Baggallini urban backpack in the parks, and it works well, but it's not much to look at. A Disney pattern DB would be sooo much more fun!

I made a special DL trip a few years ago with just my mom, dd, and me just to experience the Haunted Mansion Holiday. I was so excited to finally get to see it and it was AWESOME!! I absolutely love the HM and Nightmare two of my favorite things. My car is a black tahoe and my front license plate is the HM one that has Doom Buggy on it and Jack Skellington is on my trailer hitch. DH make fun of me but I think he secretly likes it.

the messenger i got has VERY good mickey and minnie placement.. but coz of it, my placement of the mouse ears isnt as good. i won it off ebay a couple days ago and it just arrived today! look for a photo post of it "COMING SOON!"

No I never saw one either. I got 6 letter carriers, and looked through literally over 40 letter carriers. the strap is VERY adjustable..i love it!

It looks like there is basically 2 placements in that size...and while the placement varies just slighty most were those 2 placement give or take an inch... it is way small of an area, that's why I don't think they had any with mickey and minnie on the front...no way to get them on there.

I didn't spend a lot of time looking at the later carriers, but I too found that the pattern placement on the messenger I had two choices. They even restocked while I was there. I don't remember how many I looked through, but it was quite a few.

Where I did find a lot of choices in pattern placement was the cosmetic bag. In fact the batch I looked through there were only a few good ones or shall I say a few I liked. I have a feeling the cosmetic bags were the left overs from making the bags and I was fine with that. Im glad to see they seem to be trying to make good pattern placement on the bags.

I did see the that the tote had great placement but I think that is because the bag was so big. More room to have more and nothing covering it up like the D&B logo. The logo is still here, just there is more area to have the pattern show up nicely.

I don't know if it is too late, but I would love a DL tote or messenger bag. I am a long time reader who hasn't posted for a few years . . . but , I have been keeping up with all of the Dis-Dooney news from you gals! I just hated to bug someone to pick one up for me and was going to wait to see if I could order from the park. The only thing is the potential shipping cost . . . and not really knowing what pattern you"ll receive! I just love the placement of all on the bags that you all picked up at DL . . . so magical!

I really hope they make a special one just for WDW. I have been to DL but not since I was little and honestly I don't remember it much. I go to WDW every year with my entire family so a special one would mean so much to me. Lets hope they do it!

I am patiently waiting on my purple sketch wristlet to arrive. I want to take a picture of my disney dooney collection as soon as it comes in.

my daughter(age 6) had a huge disaster in her room, like you couldn't see her floor. I told her that if she cleaned it up by herself and keeps it clean then she can have my minnie pouchette. She is so excited! Once her room gets messy again we will take it back and she will have to re-earn it! I am also thinking of giving her my white sketch wristlet for a Christmas present since I am getting the purple one!
