Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

I have DVC too, and it sounds like an absolute blast. However, I have a funny feeling that if I used up all our points on a girls dooney shopping trip DH and the kiddos would have my head!

We just bought a little over a month ago at VGC via resale. Got a steal of a deal. I have only been to WDW once for our honeymoon. DS is 8 and we wanted to wait till he was older as the parks are a lot for a little guy. Can't wait to get there....

Oh...and look at this.....just got an email that disneystore.com is having 20% off site wide.

Looks like it has an adjustable strap, so should work for most. Hallowishes posted picks of herself wearing the letter carrier I believe around page 67 of this thread maybe that would give you an idea of how it hangs.

We own at AKV and BLT, we just returned from a trip to BLT and love the convinience of walking so much so that I've listed my AKV points for sale so that I can have all of my points at BLT. When we stay at AKV we are pretty far from the parks and we tend to just go to one park and then stay at the resort. BLT is so close that we tend to head back to MK in the evenings, the walk over and back is so easy and I love having the Contemporary right next door. We can head over there for a snack, or to just shop/look around. When we're at AKV Kidani village we have to load everyone in the car just to head over to AKL to shop or look around.

It looks like it definitely adjusts but curious if it is as long.....I've seen lots of pics of it but not on someone.

I have a friend who would be very upset if she didn't get invited, so, looks like we could form quite a group!! Hmmm wonder if they do something like this at WDW where it would be released? TrenD?? World of Disney? One of the parks? Can you imagine the mad house??

Got a purple sketch wristlet two days ago.

On the bottom of our dining reciepts, there have been 20% off coupons for either Emporium, Mouse Gears, Mickey's of Hollywood/Keystone Clothiers, World of Disney, and one of the ones at AK (cant remember) if you purchase between 9-12 AM, and it expires 7/24

I bought a white sketch at Emporium, then went across to the MS jewelry store that has the purple ones, and exchanged it.

SO, with the 20% off, my wristlet was only $40!

How's the supply of the colored wristlets/letter carriers in the stores? I've noticed that there aren't that many listed on ebay anymore and I really want a green wrislet with tink and the castle and a blue wrislet.

Sorry, I don't have a picture but (imo) the strap on the messenger is very long. I have it about 3/4 extended now and wearing it on my shoulder it still goes down past my hips. I can try and measure it for you tonight.

Wow, I haven't checked this thread in a while and I missed a lot, LOL. I was at DLR on Sunday and picked up the 55th anniversary messender at the Clothiers on Main Street. While I was there, someone bought the display tote bag (no wristlets or letter carriers at all on display there) so that may have been the last of that style. But they brought my messenger from the back and I was able to check the placement. But I noticed with this pattern, they really seemed to be doing a great job on the placement on all the purses that I saw.

Now if they would just come up with a backpack style, LOL. Until I switched to my new messenger, I have still been using a 10-year old D&B backpack purse (that I absolutely love).

Well the large fabric satchel bag and small hand bag with Mickey Mouse faces in navy are completely sold out on www.disneystore.com. The pink Minnie Mouse bags are still on-sale but the navy Mickey Mouse ones are gone! If you wanted one you'll have to find them through other sources (Ebay, etc).

Good, that makes me feel better about the strap....I am 5'10" so I worry about it hitting me in the wrong place.

Some sellers will actually try to get you the print you want. I always email and ask and I have been lucky 90% of the time. The few sellers who say no I don't buy from.

Yeah I know that is true for most. I found the perfect green wristlet on Ebay at a great price, however, the seller stated that it was a stock photo so I e-mailed and asked her if the one pictured was available because I really liked that one. She wrote me back and stated that if I was buying a $200 bag she could likely guarantee placement, however, for $50+ bag she just didn't have the time to deal with it. I used to sell tons on ebay and I always tried to accomodate customers requests. Anyway I'll just keep looking hopefully I'll find another one I like.

Wow that is shocking that the seller wont help with a photo or tell you the placement of the design. Guess they are not worried about selling it and don't care about helping people. There is no way I buy a Dooney from a standard photo. I don't care if its $50 or $300. I would want to make sure in what I was getting. Some pattern placements don't really show much if the bag is small.
