Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

Wow that is shocking that the seller wont help with a photo or tell you the placement of the design. Guess they are not worried about selling it and don't care about helping people. There is no way I buy a Dooney from a standard photo. I don't care if its $50 or $300. I would want to make sure in what I was getting. Some pattern placements don't really show much if the bag is small.

And really how much time does it take to snap a picture of the front and back of the actual bag for sale?

I noticed that some of the folks selling Disneyland pattern bags just have stock photos up too.

After looking at quite a few DB bags on Saturday, I guarantee some placements appealed to me waay more than others, and that was especially true with the smaller bags.

Now Im not a seller on ebay so I could be wrong. I think ebay charges for photos or more then x amount of photos. So I understand. If I was that seller I would ask if there was an email address I could send the photos too. That way no more cost. Maybe thats silly, not sure.

And I agree, there are some placements I really liked and some not so much. The Ann pattern, I like most placements. But the sketch, I would like certain placements. And everyone is different.

I would love a backpack for the parks!

I also would LOVE a backpack style. The messenger and crossbody are nice because you can get to what you need easy, but the backpack seems more comfortable and out of the way.

I found the perfect green wristlet on Ebay at a great price, however, the seller stated that it was a stock photo so I e-mailed and asked her if the one pictured was available because I really liked that one. She wrote me back and stated that if I was buying a $200 bag she could likely guarantee placement, however, for $50+ bag she just didn't have the time to deal with it. I used to sell tons on ebay and I always tried to accomodate customers requests. Anyway I'll just keep looking hopefully I'll find another one I like.

WOW! Talk about rude!!! It takes less than five minutes to take a picture and email it. Do they have good feedback? That is just lousy customer service!

There is one seller that has a pink crossbody with perfect Tinkerbell placement and I asked about it but she said no guarantees. I think there are like 3 Tinkerbells on the front. I ended up getting one of eBay and it has good placement

p.s. I still am selling my Disney Cruise line large tote and added a lot of photos to my listing. I will consider going less but I can't go to low. I was one of the idiots that overpaid for it Just in case anyone is interested

OMG you will LOVE MNSSHP!! It is the best disney thing ever!!! Literally EVER!!!! After work I will post a pic of us and our costumes from last yr. Sooooo fun!!! We all have to dress up! Maybe we could go as disney dooney and bourke bags.. omg how hilarious would that be!!! Any good seamstresses on our board??

And I'm also with hallowishes, that's around the time we are always there too! So we could even do a one or two day meet up. It would be so fun. Those cast members wouldn't know what hit them. Aahahhahhahaha

i agree! that would be the BEST TIME ever! i dont have alot of friends who enjoy my passion for Disney and would want to go on a trip with me ... so meeting up with fellow Disney Dooney addicts for a day in the parks and shops would be a real highlight for me!!!

Wow well that is rude!!! I wouldn't buy from her then!!! I do have to say, and DL girls who were there and have seen them, I do think that the new bags have great placement of everything, maybe it is just me, because I think all the designs on it are really special, where as on the originals it was like yeah who wants a firework front and center. I love all the designs on the new one, but I'm a huge DL fan, then Disney fan 2nd, so the bags are really special to me. But what a (not very nice word) lady from ebay! Sorry!

Oh and I just decided, that I think they should come out with a VILLIANS pattern!!! That would be AWESOME!!! I love my main Disney characters, but I'd totally rock the Villians!

It takes a couple of minutes to take a pic and e-mail it, but I actually didn't even ask her to do that much I just asked if the particular item pictured was available to purchase, a simple yes or no would have been perfectly acceptable.. she really didn't have to go off on how it really wasn't worth her time. So even though the bag was exactly what I was looking for I will move on. I won't purchase a colored sketch bag without seeing exactly what I'm getting. Most are really nice but ive seen plenty that did nothing for me.

They do, but it's not that big of a fee(first photo is free, one more is 15 cents).
I'm editing this in because I've never tried it, but I read that if you put your pictures up on Auctiva and link it to your listing, it's free. Don't hold me to this though, I've only sold one item on ebay, my guy's the big seller.

Got a purple sketch wristlet two days ago.

On the bottom of our dining reciepts, there have been 20% off coupons for either Emporium, Mouse Gears, Mickey's of Hollywood/Keystone Clothiers, World of Disney, and one of the ones at AK (cant remember) if you purchase between 9-12 AM, and it expires 7/24

I bought a white sketch at Emporium, then went across to the MS jewelry store that has the purple ones, and exchanged it.

SO, with the 20% off, my wristlet was only $40!

How's the supply of the colored wristlets/letter carriers in the stores? I've noticed that there aren't that many listed on ebay anymore and I really want a green wrislet with tink and the castle and a blue wrislet.

There are lots in Uptown Jewelers and World of Disney. Only the white ones in most places though. I got the last purple one that was out in UJ, and it had perfect placement - but when I walked by later in the day there were more out. So I'd say they have a pretty good supply.

No, they write VOID on it and keep the coupon. But we got them with every counter service and snack that we ate.

I just ordered my new "Tonal Mickey" Dooney & Bourke Champsac bag!!! I am super excited and knew that i could not scream in excitment anywhere else and the the full appreciate i know I can find here!!!!

I looked and looked, pondered and pondered, and finally got a HELLUVA deal on a band new bag on - but where else?? You guessed it - Ebay!!! How funny would that be if it were from one of you lovelies!!??

Anyway, I was psyched!! I have always been a D&B fan and have a few other bags, but this one is great!! I love the pattern and know that I can get the D&B quality and my WDW/Mouse fix all year long at the same time!! And what great colors for fall!!!

Well, thats all i have for now. I just wanted to stop in and share my love and obsession with other D&B addicts.... Who are also Dis/Mouse addicts such as myself!!

Love Love Love the look of the cruise line bags! But I have never been on a cruise so my policy is that you can't have items that represents something that you've never done or a place that you've never been. Kind of strange I know but I would feel so weird with a cruise line bag without having been on a cruise. My checkbook is very happy about this policy.

I'm hoping that WDW has a nice supply of whatever the styles are in December! I really like the messenger, but kind of want to see it on me first? Same with the crossbody. I have a pirates canvas messenger bag from the DL 50th I think that I really loved and abused. But then I think I really need something bigger. I'm so confused...

I wasn't sure about that one, but I really like the way it looks on. Villians would be great or Nightmare Before Christmas! I am a huge fan, have tons of shirts and a Jack Skelington trailer hitch cover on my car. I would love that!

Thanks! I hope they are still giving them out at the end of October. I wonder when they first started giving them out? We were there first week in October last year and I keep wondering if we got any and didn't realize.
