I'm curious about the fabric for the Disneyland totes. To me it looks more like a nylon? I like the brown, looks very rich.

I'm wondering too...I might pass if it's the sketch fabric...I've had two purses discolor in the past...purple and white. I do own a white sketch and a cruise one...took the risk. Just don't know if I want to spend the money on a third purse that may discolor. For what it's worth...the blue has held up very well!

I wasn't sure if we were allowed to ask or I would have mentioned it before, but I too would love it if anyone is going soon in the next few weeks & could pick me up a letter carrier in pink or blue. I am going in August but I would love to get it before then if I can find a good one! I can paypal, & if you pm me I can give you my ebay info, etc. so you feel more comfortable!

I have to admit that I have a huge D&B obsession that started a couple of years ago and now I own 7 purses. I didn't know about the disney ones until a recent trip and I stumbles across them in the MK. Now I totally want one, but I am scared to get anything with a white background. I have a bumble bee tassle tote that i LOVE and it discolored on me after 1 yr. I contacted D&B who offered to try to clean it, which didn't work, and then they offered to give me 1/2 of the value of the bag towards the purchase of another bag if I turned it into them. The problem is that I love that pattern so much, that I couldn't part with it.

Now I really won't want to part with a Disney pattern if that happens! Wondering if I should go with the fabric? I have another bag that is a fabric and it has held up exceptionally well.

I am so glad that I saw this post, b/c at least I know that I am not the only one that has had this problem.

Does anyone know what causes it?

Wow I haven't been on the disboards in AGES (seriously like 2 months...life, busy! ) and can't believe all the new stuff.

BUT with that being said, I'm so so so so so excited about the 55th bags! Thanks for the link!!! I will BE THERE THIS WEEKEND for the 55th!!! Who knows what they will have left, I'm sure the lines for these are going to be insane!!!

Does anyone know if they are offering AP discounts on these? I still have my 20% off coupons for renewing, and that would sure be nice to use with it!!!

I'm trying to figure out how I could get bags back for DISers who want the new ones, but I'm not sure I have enough room in my bag!! Anyone have any brilliant ideas for this?? I live in Oregon, and we are flying down...Yes I've had this trip planned for a while now, I'm a DL girl, was there on the actual 50th and I will be for the 55th too!!! And all the times inbetween. So anywho, let me know if anyone has a smart idea for bringing bags home or something, and I'd be more than happy to pick some bags up for my fellow D&B DISers!

Just an idea...but you can ship stuff directly from the park back to your home or a fellow Diser home. I believe the store will assist you in doing so. Would love a messenger bag!

Just returned from a QUICK last-minute trip to WDW! (As in booked it the week before for last Wednesday through Saturday!) We had all 4 kids "farmed out" already so decided to take a quick trip to WDW, just me and DH. Didn't see the posts here about the new bags before I went (try to avoid this thread for the temptation!) Happened to walk into a shop in MK (forget which one) cuz DH spotted the Dooneys (I really wanted a wallet and wishing the sketch came in a wallet - I have the smaller purse and wristlet sketch from our trip in March but could really use something to organize all my cards, etc.) Then I spotted IT.... THE PURPLE LETTER CARRIER/MESSENGER BAG!!! I am a HUGE purple freak, love everything purple! There was ONLY ONE purple one! Of course, I grabbed it, insisted we shouldn't spend the money ($155, expected it to be a little less than that!) but wouldn't let go of it, so DH insisted I buy it. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my DH! I'll post a pic when I get a chance. We just got back yesterday, did a lot of driving (went to in-laws first, etc.) and I came home SICK (cough, sore throat, sneezing, etc.) and am trying to get back into reality mode/work right now. Will get some pics up ASAP.

Yes, that is correct. You can call the WDW or DL merchandise line and they will tell you how much it is by cost. Not cheap, but it is an option...better than having your suitcase jammed full of purses!!!

When we were there in December the only restrictions were the stores and times. It has to be used before noon and is good at all the main stores I think (mousegears, emporium, World of Disney, etc.).

Anybody there recently who can confirm? If it's the same I hope they do it again in December. A coupon,good selection in Mousegears and a big cup of coffee and I won't need to worry about dragging anyone else with me for a purse.

If the hotel you're staying at has a business center you could ship them straight from there. I was able to send home two 9" vinylmations FedEx (YC/BC to NY) for $10. They had boxes there.

I would pay for shipping of course and maybe a little extra for your trouble-just send me a message. I would be so grateful!! For the pattern placement, I do sort of want some Mouse Ears on the front but otherwise not picky.

I know several of us were wondering what the small messenger was going to be like on the inside... QVC has some good pics. There is one zipper pocket, one cellphone pocket (small cell phone), and a key hook. Also it sells for $175!

Oh well, guess we have to pay a premium for DL 55th!
