Hi, I totally agree with you!!!! I want the messenger sooooooooo bad and then the large purse/bag, but first the messenger! The $285 price for the messengers were crazy I waited and got some nice placements and at a fair price.

Are you able to use your 20% off one merchandise item that you can get from a quick service restaurant on a D&B Messenger bag, or do they exclude this?

It would be great to get $31 off, but I'm weary that they would actually allow it.

We just got back on Saturday. We had the 20% from quick service restaurants and it gave us 20% off the total order and the order did include the Dooney. We were very happy with the coupon and the new bags and jewerly. Every girls dream vacation! Hoping that the coupon is still going on when we go back in Sept.

Just found you guys from the thread about the new Disneyland exclusive DB line over on the DL board - thanks Hallowishes!

I'm sure you've discussed all the styles in this thread, but since 70+ pages is a lot to scroll through... can I just ask if I'm missing any?

1. White Sketch
I understand there was a 1st and 2nd edition of this though, what is/was the difference?
2. Cruise Line Exclusive
3. Black Multi Colored Mickey
4. Brown Mickey Silhouette
5. Blue Mickey Faces
6. Pink Minnie Faces
7. Colored Sketch
only in letter carrier & wristlet though - correct?
8. And now the new Disneyland print to be released 7/17

I'm thinking it would be fun to have a DB Disney print bag to carry in the parks. I like to go lightweight and hands free, so maybe the letter carrier? Am I right that my choices in that style would be the Mickey Silhouette, the Colored Sketch, or the new Disneyland print? Any other styles you think might be good for carrying in the parks?

For those who have bought your bags in the parks... how are they about letting you line them up and compare so you can choose the print placement you like best? I'd have to do that! I'm guessing this Saturday at Vault 28 might not be the best day for that though.

It's been ages since I've bought a Dooney bag, I think I'm due.

I have 100% positive feedback on ebay and would paypal you the money for the letter carrier and the shipping of course. I would want one with a good placement of Mickey and the castle on the front -- full size and not cut off for either. Are you there for the rest of the week? Ok - I totally didn't need to find this thread. I have a bit of a purse problem, but if I save up my pennies for our trip in January/February, I should be able to get a pretty DB bag! It IS a birthday trip, after all!

Welcome to the dooney madness! It all depends on the CM that helps you if you are in a store that doesn't have them all on display. This is the case at Tren-d and World of Disney. Now, at the stores in the parks and the Grand Floridian most are on display. Not sure how the set up is at Vault 28.

Hi, at least we know we can get them from eBay if we can't from someone here. I will wait though until a seller has an actual bag in hand and the prices are not so bad. Placement is also going to be a factor for me-I know this is silly but I want some mouse ears on the front of a messenger

Hi, how are you doing? If you want to catch up send me your email through the messages or I can send you mine. Got some new Disney Dooney's but have not taken pictures yet. I still love your photo with your dog in your bag. Once I get mine groomed I might do that-if they will let me(two male yorkie/maltese mixes). I have a black mini daschund who is really small, but she sheds and I don't want black hair all over the inside.

Okay here is what I am planning since I will be there this Saturday.

I think I am just going to try to buy a few of whatever ones are left, and I'll PM those of you who said they wanted them, once I get home! And you can see if you want it and if not, then I'll just put it up on ebay too I guess. Assuming they don't all get purchased by cast member and crazy people in line at like 6 am, and that I find a way to get them home! So wish me luck that they have a bunch left, and I'll just rack up my Disney Visa... hahaha...

I'm planning on checking out the new releases on Saturday too. But if it's so crazy that you can't take time to choose a bag with a design placement you like (Vault 28 is a very small shop) or if there is a long line (e-bay resellers perhaps ) then I'll just go back some other time. The gift w/purchase thing might be a pain anyway since it sounds like even if you purchase in the morning, I assume with a line, you still have to go back in the afternoon, where I assume there will be another line, to get the gift.

I'd be nervous about picking out a bag for someone else, but if hawky7 doesn't get what you want and you really need one, maybe I could help. I don't know of any discounts for DL like the one posted for WDW though, and our sales tax is crazy high. Do you have to pay CA sales tax if you buy through Disney and have it shipped out of state? I assume the bags will also be available that way.

Oh snap- good call! I live in Oregon, and there is no sales tax... SOOO if I ship them, I won't have to pay tax!!! I think I might try that! Hi I'd like to buy 8000 bags and have them all shipped, can you help? HAHA. But seriously, yeah I'm totally going to try and ship them. Can I do it at guest services or do I have to do it at Vault? I don't want to be in that tiny store any longer than I have to. Lovely store, but seriously, it's like a broom closet in there!

Cats Mom- I'll be the one there looking super annoyed at how many people are in the park on MY day and getting upset when people keep hitting me with their stroller, and then wondering, you guys aren't really disney fans, why are you here today?? I am trying to decide if I should go ahead and buy a colored letter carrier off of Ebay or wait until our trip mid-August & try and get one then. Do you think there will still be plenty to choose from? I know it's only a month away but I'm worried they won't have a good selection left by then.
Any advice would be much appreciated, I'm obsessing way too much about this!

I would wait until august and pick your own bag in person. I doubt they will sell out within a month
