Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

So not diggin' the princess bags. In a way it's a relief, but now I'm really hoping they have something better by December. I was really hoping to pick out a bag in person.

wow...I wonder if the manager was pulling my leg when she said umbrellas and stuff because so far this is not what I was expecting. I just told my DH about the new release and his first words were "oh boy..." Then I told him I wasn't interested and he said, "that's great!"

Not my cup of tea really...I can't believe they are putting this online rather than the DL55 collection! That's what I want most!

I've never purchased from ebay so I'm quite nervous about that, but if they don't introduce the messenger to the store soon, I might have to bite the bullet...(or just get one of my besties to do it...she's a huge ebay fan...)

I do agree with everyone on over saturating the market. Too many of these and they will lose their uniqueness.

I actually think the wristlets are kind of cute. Sounds like I am the only one though! Are these available in the parks?

On Disneyshopping they have "as seen in teen vogue" with the princess collection.

Explains a lot. They're obviously trying to appeal to a younger audience. Curious to see how well they sell.

Not a fan of the new princess bags. If I had to pick one it would be the bigger black satchel. How come the colored letter carriers are not on disneystore.com?

I like the new princess design. It's subtler that I thought it would be, and I like the colors. There is no way I can justify getting another bag just yet though.

I just broke down and ordered the blue mail carrier from e-bay. It had a perfect placement and the rainbow zipper. It is way cuter in person than the pictures. I love it!!

of course i have to be on a business trip when word breaks of these new bags!!! (with no interenet access!! grrrrr) i am personally not feeling them AT ALL. they are just not my style. i do understand their appeal, they are just not for me. im glad i go two styles in the dlr handbags, they represent the parks more for me.

on another note though .. who else is super PUMPED the disney store is getting stocked full of Nightmare Before Christmas merch??? i LOVE all those new arrivals! and that haunted mansion tee, i NEED IT!

i know, i was thinking the same thing! maybe they didnt want crazy ebay sellers to jack up the prices ... but there are some on ebay already for over $300 ...

At MK and DH just surprised me with the hot pink Dooney bag. I was talking with the manager and he said there is a new Dooney Disney collection coming out in a little over a month. Bags will be princess themed.

Guess it was a little sooner! LOL. Don't like them, DH is relieved.

Well, I'm glad to know I'm not alone in my fear of over saturating the market.
I don't like the new print at all, but I'm sick of the princess theme. Like others have said, at least it will save me money!
As far as the print itself goes, almost all of the other Disney Dooney's have been a knock off of one of their regular patterns. Such as the Wonder and the tonal. Not sure about the Sketch, was there a normal pattern for that?
Now what I would LOVE would the DB signature print with maybe WDW scattered in it too.

I know there is a Macy's parade Dooney and Bourke bag that is similar to the sketch. I saw them on eBay-there might still be some on there. They are very similar in design but with the parade theme.

When I got the bags the sellers scratched the price off of the tags Actually, most of the bags I get from eBay are like that-I guess the sellers don't want the buyers to know the actual price but it is easy to find out.

I found some costumes on eBay! But, I want to wait and see what the Disneystore online has first closer to Halloween. Thank you for the info because I would have never thought to look. Megan will still get to be a princess
