Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

I think there are a lot of Tink fans and it would sell-anyone else think that?

This is way off topic but I have to vent! I was checking my bank account this morning and we ordered Dominos pizza Sunday and the total was $28 and some change. I gave the driver cash for a tip because I prefer to-not sure why. But, my account has the total as being an even $35.00 charged!!! I called my bank and they said Dominos can't get into my account and to talk to the manager, but I threw away the receipt so I will have to see if it has my last order still listed. It had to be the driver writing a tip in. Should I get a new card? Any advice would be appreciated

Back to on topic: a sketch umbrella would be cute and some type of shoes but as Hawky7 mentioned in another post they need to be done right. Keychain would be cute and a cell phone case!!! OMG! They need to do a cell phone case that will fit the iphone4 AND other phones!

If that's the case he gave himself a pretty nice tip. I always use cash too, but since they have added the delivery fee I feel like I'm tipping twice. Anyhow, I just looked at my dominos account, the last time I ordered was in May and my order is still there, however, it doesn't show how much I was charged or anything like that. I don't think I would bother getting a new card, your whole account number will not show on the receipt anyhow. You could call your bank and make sure there isn't anything else pending that may help to make you feel better, and if you give the dominos location a call they should be able to tell you exactly what was charged (food, tip, delivery fee, taxes, etc..)

Back on topic: I too think a tink line would be great but if you look long enough you can find some great placements that appear to be tink specific especially on the wristlets.

Maybe you can dispute the charge?? Did you ask the bank about that. I've only had to dispute something once. It was a huge pain in the ***, but it was because US Airways charged us DOUBLE for an upgrade fee, and would NOT return our emails...yeah their customer service for that problem is only via email. So I filled a claim with the bank and low and behold a few weeks into it, once the bank started researching, US Airways finally gave me my flipping money back. So that might work. Not sure what Dominos is gonna say. Probably just like uhhhh well we can't really prove it wasn't you....

Is there any place that I could view all the Disney Dooneys in the different colors and styles? When I went to WDW in May I did not see all the styles.

I think to just view them, your best bet is ebay. Just put in Disney Dooney, and they will all pop up!!

well, from purse piggy to purse piggy, the dlr 55th tote is A MUST HAVE!

I use my Wonder tote the most right now...but really love the 55 print. We are going to DL in Nov. and if they still have them I just might be adding the tote too.

I agree, I don't think I am too thrilled about the princess theme either. Hum, maybe that is good because I will finally be able to pass on one of them, LOL.

oooh a tinkerbell line would be awesome.. I kinda like the idea for teh umbrella but I love my Coach umbrella but I would so get a key chain as long as its like my Coach one. Its silver with pink rhinestones.. Im so girly and yes I am a purse piggy too! Coach, D&B, Nine West, and Louis Vuitton.. My 16yr old just bought me a D&B for my bday next month, it isnt Disney but he was so excited he showed me this morning even tho I told him not to! Its super sweet but I feel so BAD he spent that much money on me, he HATES his job and has to work super hard at it..

I was in Dunkin Donuts today when the woman behind me complimented me on my Cindy sketch tote. I thanked her of course, then my 8yr old son proceeds to tell the woman "it's a Dooney & Bourke". She was surprised that Dooney made a Disney bag. I of course told her they made several different kinds. At this point my son pipes in that they make "a bigger one, a smaller one and some with different patterns". Then he told her "They cost a ton of money."

Needless to say, I was shocked to see how much my son had picked up on my obsession!

Has anybody else had difficulty registering their tote on the D&B website? It keeps telling me it can't verify my registration. I'm using the numbers found on a slip of paper (like a sticker sheet) that was inside my packaging. I have the bag ID# from the inside of my purse, I have the style number and color, but there are 2 small rectangular shaped areas on the sticker sheet where it looks like a sticker was removed. Was the registration number on that removed part?

BTW, this is not only my first Dooney purse, but actually my first purse ever! I've never really been a purse gal, but these purses just spoke to me. I got the black Wonder tassel tote. I really like the 55th anniversary print, but I HAVE to have a zipper on my purse. I was also REALLY excited because I got a 20% off coupon at the bottom of one of my food receipts to use at the World of Disney Store (this was at DL btw), and they let me use the discount on my D&B purse. I couldn't believe it. Saved me $42!

Ahh, don't even say that! Then I might have to splurge for another one! My wristlet is pretty awesome...it's got Tinkerbell on the flap. It was perfect!

My husband is going to call Dominos when he gets off work. It is only about $7 (plus the $5 cash tip-so they got a $12 tip) but the fact that they did that is what makes me mad. They had to of written the tip in on the receipt and of course I threw the receipt away. I would hate for them to be doing the same thing to other people and getting away with it. From now on, I am paying cash for pizza delivery. That is ridiculous being charged double!! I am sure it was a lot more than $7!! Glad you got your money back.

I work for a bank and wanted to pipe in
Is the charge still showing as "pending" on your account, or is it hard posted and cleared? If it's still pending, it's normal for restaurants to authorize a larger amount in case you add the tip in. When it clears, it will post for whatever amount you signed for.
If it's posted and cleared, I'd call your bank back and dispute the amount if you can't work it out with the restaurant.
I wouldn't get a whole new card as the driver wouldn't know your card number, they may have just added the tip onto your receipt (which is horrible and you should definitely say something to the manager in that case.)

If you see pending charges on your account that are incorrect (wrong amount, double charged, whatever...) it's usually a mistake that the merchant has already corrected and just needs to be processed by the bank. It generally fixes itself within a few days.
If the incorrect charges are showing as posted, definitely call the merchant, then the bank if the merchant won't work with you.


And to get back on topic, I am obsessing over the Disneyland 55 D&B purses! I am trying to decide whether I want to get one off eBay or add another night to my solo trip!

The one time I had to dispute a charge on my credit card it was for a pizza place! They double charged me for my order. All I had to do was call my credit card company and they took care of it. Not sure if it's different because it's a tip, but hopefully they can take care of it for you!

I won't be the least bit surprised to know I'm alone here on this thread who feels this way. But I just don't want them to cheapen these bags by throwing millions of them out in the market, KWIM?

Yes, I do like Tinkerbell! When I got my Disney Visa I had to pick the Tink one. I am actually kind of obsessed with all the Disney fairies now ever since those movies came out.

So far all I have is the wristlet though...when I was there in April with my dad it took me all week to finally break down and get one. The purses are adorable but I have a hard time justifying that much $$ on one thing. But I do really want one of those colored ones...I'll probably have to settle for a picture of it when I'm there with my sisters (only 10 days!!!).

I agree with you. I think too many patterns/sizes/colors will make them less special. They won't be "one of a kind" anymore.

Agreed. I'd like if they'd make them Limited Edition, so we can all get the new ones, but then they'd be like collector items!

I bought the sketch wristlet when I was at WDW for my birthday(and was guilt-ridden over it for a while, I have never owned an expensive purse and am a total budget person for personal reasons). I told myself I wouldn't buy another but then saw the colored ones on these boards and was really liking the letter carrier in blue. I had forgotten my friend had owed me money for something from a few months ago and when he texted me to say my check was in the mail, I decided to go ahead and buy one I had seen on ebay with really good Dumbo, Mickey, and balloon placement.
I told my fiance that I might buy a bigger one in November when we go if I save up the money for it because I love the carrier for everyday/ running errand use, but I have days where a bigger bag would be nice. I thought he was going to give me his usual "do whatever you want babe" line but instead he said "You should totally get a bigger bag. It would be like Papa bear, Mama bear and Baby bear from Goldilocks!"
That has left a smile on my very stressed face for the rest of the evening.
