Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

i got my mini margot bag in the mail .. and its much smaller than i thought it would be. would anyone be interested in it before i return it? i got the cyber monday deal so the price would be $105 shipped and its the black one! pm me!

How long are the straps? I have a 55 messenger and a tonal letter carrier that fit fine...
 
Leaving for WDW and 4-night DCL cruise tomorrow. We'll be there for 2 weeks. If I find anything exciting, I'll let you know ASAP!

the straps are pretty long, easily a bit longer thanb the letter carrier is. im not happy with the size of the bag though, its much smaller than i expected.

And, it holds my Vera Bradley card wallet, my Iphone, my Mary Kay compact, and my sunglasses better than my sketch. It's not really larger, per se, but the shape makes putting my sunglasses in a lot easier!
 
Well, I called, the lady was OK. I said this was fine looking, just missing a good drawing of Mickey and Minnie. She said they had not had any compaints of defective ones with no Mickey and Minnie printed. I explained to her that they are on there, just always cut off, by a seam or a handle and she said "well then it isn't defective." I didn't say it was, but anyway, she did say if I chose to I could send it back within 2 weeks and ask for an exchange, to attach a note to the receipt. But I'll admit she has me second guessing myself. I am going to think about it today, I have a sick kid at home anyway and won't be going out, and if I decide to send it back I will tomorrow, otherwise I am going to promise myself not to think about it.

Received my Cyber Monday shipment today. I :love: my balloon satchel that my DH bought me for Christmas (he doesn't know it yet). Unfortuantely, the balloon satchel does not have the heart hang tag. I will write DS about it. Let's keep each other updated about what the DS says about the missing heart tags on our D&B.
 
Hi someone had asked for pics of the balck balloon letter carrier and the sketch letter carrier. In height, the black balloon LC is smaller. I'm not sure whether I'll be keeping the black LC.

Yup, me too. Just got mine today and is missing the medallion. I wrote them so I'll see how it goes. I can't imagine why they would send so many of them out with out the medallion.

Thank you, that was me!! So it's a bit shorter, but quite a bit wider it appears, that helps!
Is it lined on the inside like the sketch LC is?

just a little pep talk: don't settle! When you paid for your bag it became yours, regardless of shipping it. Your bag was swapped out and you should get your bag. Call again and ask for a supervisor. They should pick this one up and send your replacement w/o additional charges. We have all spent a ton of time on placement and it's most important on the sketch bags. Your story was so amazing I can't imagine you not having your dream bag. Get a supervisor, tell them your story and then tell them that your bag was not sent. There's no excuse for that. And don't feel bad about it. You deserve the present that your husband saved to get you. Please call them again. Ok, I'm done :).

I would send it back with a note about what happened and a pic similar to one you would like (like the OP suggested from ebay, maybe) and explain what you would like to have with out it being cut off by a seam. :goodvibes
 
My black Susanna tote arrived this afternoon and I LOVE IT! It is almost exactly the same size as the large Sketch tote, but not nearly as deep (a couple inches difference, at least). I don't know how to post pictures but it holds a fair amount. I'll be using it as a purse and not as a tote/carry on!

And of course neither the white balloon cosmetic nor the black Susanna tote have the pink heart hang tag. As no one seems to have luck with Disney online, I am calling Dooney directly and I have someone willing to work with me. I have to say, I am very impressed with Dooney's customer service.

I totally agree with this. IMO the placement is very important on the bags and you should get one that you love!

Sad to say that my package has not arrived yet... maybe tomorrow.:rolleyes:
 
I am happy that some people have received their cyber Monday orders but I have not even gotten my shipping e-mail :furious: lilynmagpiesmomma, I am glad you got a response from Dooney as I still have not received a reply to my e-mail about the missing medallions :confused3 Please keep us up to date on what they say :rolleyes1
