Got my email today saying that it has shipped!! Yay! Finally!

I sent my email about the medallion on Friday and got a response Friday saying they'd send it. We'll see if it happens. At WDW now, seeing an assortment of bags, not too many in any one place. WOD had the best selection. Limited numbers of ballon bags, no margots or susannahs only the odd wwristelt. Colored sketch LC w/o leather trim. Going to the MK tomorrow to see what they have. YC added a table of bags today, mostly sketch and wonder.

I was starting to worry because I hadn't received a shipping notification yet from Cyber Monday. I feel relieved to know that is the case for many of us---but I'm still anxious to receive it!!!

I just tried looking up my order number on the my account page and nothing So I guess I will be making another phone call I did send an e-mail to Dooney and Bourke about the missing heart medallions and will let everyone know if and when I get a reply

My mini Margot came in black. I wanted the white, I thought I ordered white. I checked my original confirmation form and it shows black. UGH! I really didn't want two black balloon purses. Do you think they would even up exchange it for me? I hate to pay full price for white when I got this one on sale. I really hate that I didn't check my order more carefully - DUH!

You can always e-mail them and explain that you thought you had ordered one white bag and one black and really don't need two such similar bags If you ask nicely to just exchange the black mini Margot for the white mini Margot, it seems like an even exchange to me You would probably have to pay the return shipping, but who knows I have found them to be very responsive to e-mails so good luck and please let us know what you decide and how it goes

How craaaazy is this ~ on eBay there is a black balloon wristlet that started at $9.99, had a $60 buy it now that no one did and the bidding is now up to $102.50 with 2 days still to go They could buy two of the wristlets for that price on the Disney shopping site I guess that is what happens with a new release

So I found another case of an actual handbag being somewhat different than what is pictured on the Disney Shopping site.


DL55 Bucket Bag:

I actually don't mind that the leather trim along the base is missing. It would just cover up more of the design anyway. But I wonder why so many discrepancies between what is pictured and the real deal?

They also show all the letter carriers with the leather trim along the pocket, but I think the ones folks are receiving now are the ones without the trim.

It seems like having the correct artwork on a shopping site would be a really good idea.

My guess is that those are people buying them for gifts or for themselves that don't realize Disney sells these online.

I don't see a medallion in the photo and yet there is one on your bag. Interesting.

I received my Black Friday purchases last night but haven't opened them yet. Bought hubby a nice notebook and he's been bugging me to open it. Told him...no way...it is a Christams gift. Now what's a girl to do with the Dooney box? LOL Guess I'll have to wrap those too.

i actually think it is much better without the extra trim! that bag is terrific looking! makes me want to buy it too!

Is the DL55 bucket bag leather on the bottom (underside - part that sits on the table) of the bag? I have a non Disney Dooney similar to the DL55 bucket bag and mine not only has the leather band around the bottom but the underside of the bag is leather also. Not sure I like the look without the leather band but I do agree that not having the band on the DL55 bag is a plus since it allows more of the print to show. Maybe they added the medallion to make up for removing the band? Did the original DL55 styles purchased at DL have the medallions?
