I love my purple so much I'm thinking about a blue one now.

i figured it probably wouldnt be a popular comment around here! women seem to LOVE tinkerbell ..i guess its weird that i dont, and i dont really have a particular reason either yes the purple is awesome too, if i was going to get another that would be the color i would go with!

My blue sketch came today. I love it! I love everything about it! The feel, the smell the placement is great. The castle takes center stage and the Mickey ice cream bar is right there too! Mickey could be more prominently featured (he is on the top front, but his ears are cut off by the "Dooney & Bourke" label, but overall I love it!

I need your advice. I have a first edition sketch purse, I think it is the medium one can't remember the actual name. Anyways, I don't use it very much as it just don't work well with my body. I love the print but I just can't use the purse. I did get a LC with the print. I want to sell it so somebody else can enjoy it put I am having a hard time parting with it. What would you do?

if youre not using it, i would sell it. if you love the pattern maybe you can just get a wristlet? that way you at least have something with the print but dont have the expense of a bag you dont use?

That is true. I do have a purple wristlet and the green letter carrier. I guess I sell. Thanks for your advice

And here I thought I was the only one who didn't really like tinkerbell. I think that started when I re-watched "Peter Pan" last summer. I thought she was a bit of a selfish brat; I hadn't remembered that. (slinks away)

I feel your pain..i was just thinkingi should sell my sketch. I've used it all of 3 times. it's still in very good condition. the only reason i hold on to it is because it was a goof.

She really should fall in the Villains category, she's certainly not a princess.
That said, it makes me love her even more.

This is an early b-day trip from DF as I have to travel for work out of town over my b-day

As part of the trip I want to purchase another Dooney

So far I've got a 1st edition Sketch tassel and a Wonder barrel.

Any suggestions on my next bag

if you want to try a small hands free bag, i would go with the new sketch crossbody. i ordered blue and purple from disney shopping and love them. looking forward to carrying them on our next trip. otherwise, i like the wonder larger tassel with the zipper. i brought that with me on our last trip in february. actually i carried it for a week or so before the trip just to get ready! good luck with your selection!

I was in Disney World in September and picked up my 4th Dooney. My first is a Medium Tote Sketch given to me by my kids for Mother's Day. My second is the Sketch wristlet given to me by a friend who visited the World in late June. On this September trip I picked up a blue Crossbody Sketch and my absolute favorite Black Princess Satchel. I absolutely love it and have received so many compliments on it. I wasn't a fan of the light colored Princess bags but the black is amazing and the colors just "pop." You wouldn't believe how many people have said something to me about it. Also, it looks totally different in person than on line...much, much better in person.

Just returned from the world Lots and lots of Dooney's to choose from

I went with the intention of getting a purple wristlet but came home with a green one instead. All of the purples seemed to be "tink-heavy". Its not that I dislike Tink (shes cool and everything) but I really wanted a Mickey!

The lady helping me at WOD was so funny. I would finally narrow it down to 2-3 and she would say "let me run in the back and check" and then come back with an armfull She was extremely helpful and at the same time not so much....what was she thinking giving me so many to choose from??

In the end I didn't even get a full Mickey on mine. The best full Mickeys seemed to be on the yellow which did not seem to be the right color for me Oh well.
Love the one I ended up with and can't wait to go back in December. I wanted to get a blue LC but decided to wait til DEC and see if they have any new offerings. My boyfriend is looking forward to being pulled into every store with Dooneys again, NOT!

I know I ended up with a Tink, but how could I pass up a castle and perfectly cut off banner saying Walt Disney?

ooooh! i have been thinking about the black princess satchel as well. what sort of placement did you choose? can you post a photo? i have the blue crossbody too and love it. congrats on your dooneys!

Does anyone know how long the strap is on the sketch LC's? I'm hoping it's pretty long!

Is anyone able to measure the length of the crossbody letter carrier bag's strap? Since I am a bigger gal, I need a longer length for across my body.

the strap on my sketch crossbody measures about 53 inches long , when on the 2nd to last notch. you could gain one more inch if you put it on the last one .hope this helps!

Thanks. I would love to post a picture but I'm not sure how to do it. Is there someplace that explains how to post?

I looked at a few different bags and tried to get the best placement I could find. There wasn't too much of a selection when I was there but I'm pretty happy with what I got.

I was out again today and once again received so many compliments on it. Just point me in the right direction on how to post a picture and I'll put some photos up.

I think my Wonder barrel was about $180 and it's a much larger bag - maybe I have the price wrong?

I keep coming to this thread and looking at all the pics! I won't get my purse till like Christmas time. But these are making me so exciting to get it. Then just a few weeks after I get it, I'll get to take it to WDW!
