There are a few other D&B threads as well...you just Google Disney Cruise Line Dooney & Bourke and some threads should come up. There are WDW ones that you can get online at www.disneyshopping.com or DCL ones that you can only get onboard. The style onboard is called "sketch"

I have one of the larger bags and I love it .. it cost $195. It's the 2nd largest size and could fit everyone and his wife in it!!

I am planning on buying a smaller one on the next cruise if I have enough money left

The one I wanted was $160. It wasn't the biggest or the smallest. I'm now kicking myself for not buying it when I was on board. I guess I need to beg someone to go on the cruise and buy it for me and send it my way or just rebook.

i bought a navy wristlet this past Christmas cruise for $49 and willing to part with it if someone is interested. I only used it the last 3 days of the cruise and haven't used it since i got back. PM me if interested.

Has anyone else had problems with the quality of the DB bag? I bought the second largest in June and the red "paint" is peeling off of the shoulder straps. For $200, it doesn't seem like that should be happening in the first 6 mos.

There is a one year warranty on the Dooney bags. Just go to the Dooney website and contact them about the problem.

I am pretty sure the scale for the DCL bags is the same as the parks Sketch bags, so it would look like this:

Wristlet $49
Tassel Tote $160
Medium Tote $195
Large Tote $225

My DH bought the medium tote for me last month, and the red is peeling off of one of the straps.

I'm interested in their response. It has really good placement, so I'm hoping they will be willing to just replace the strap.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I must have searched through 30 bags to find the one with the placement that I liked.

I know some of the older Disney Dooney collections have been sale priced in the parks, but nothing in the sketch pattern so far. Interesting that the cruise collection is sale priced. Thanks for the info joksten. I'll be checking it out first hand in just a couple of weeks.


Edited to add: I'm sorry folks are having quality issues. I've also noticed some recent design changes that seem like they might be cost cutting measures. Makes you rethink spending so much on a handbag.

I got the medium "Sketch" for Christmas and love it. It is alot larger than I thought it would be but I love it so much. If you wait until Disneyshopping has 20% off it applies to the purses too.

There's a DCL version of the weekender on e-bay right now, although the seller is calling it a large duffle. I'm assuming the size and pricing are the same as the regular sketch version in the parks. The e-bay seller has it listed for $600 though!
