there is absolutely nothing wrong with hoping and praying...the only problem with hoping and praying on this board is probably that mostly everyone here has had there wish granted and will have a disney wedding....everyone's circumstance are very different. feel better and I hope that all you Disney Wishes come true

but not everyone here is having a disney wedding. even people who post their planning journals here. i'm not even engaged yet, but i still lurk here. i like reading things that people plan, even though i know that i'm never going to have a disney wedding for both personal and travel reasons. so i totally understand and i wish i could have a disney wedding some day too. it ain't gonna happen for me though! but i can still look and dream!

But in all seriousness, you never know what events will transpire to make your dreams come true. If you told me 4 years ago, I would be living in Maine and planning my Disney Wedding with someone who I didn't know before 10/05 then I would have said you were nuts! As John Lennon says "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans!" So don't give up on what could be!

Im not saying that everyone is having a disney wedding...bc in all honesty I wish I could have one of these weddings...im only having...if it even happens the right way a small escape wedding...but what I am saying in comparision to the number of ppl that do post here many are having the wedding they want or are planning for...

...so please dont take it the wrong way...i know many ppl who dont even come over to this board, but they are a little sadden bc they cant have a DFTW...i didnt mean it in a bad way...so please do think I was trying to be controversial....

I also wish i could have a proper disney wedding, unforunately we couldnt afford one! However i am still going to Disney and having a wedding on Disney grounds....I am getting married at the swan and dolphin!!

I never would have imagined I'd be having a Disney wedding either. I mean, I thought of it, but never actually thought it would be possible. Their weddings are more affordable than you would think, especially the Escape weddings. And I lurked here before I was engaged too! You never know what will happen down the road....

I wished, hoped & dreamed too! Now, I'm engaged to the man of my dreams! Or as I more commonly call him-the best man in the world....my world!

I lurked quite sometime before we were engaged-like 5-6 years!!! We knew we wanted to get married-but just needed it to be the right time. Waiting was the difficult part...but soooo worth it in the end.
Oh! and lurking was one of the best things I did. I now have what I call the "Pop-Up Wedding." We know what we want. Now I just need to wait on dates to be available to book
