Usually an OP will request their thread be closed when they realize that no one is supporting their sense of righteous indignation OR when one of their own subsequent posts on the thread shows their true colors, as happened in the yawning thread.

Kind the old "I'm taking my toys and going home now" mentality.

I just hate it when an OP creates a alter-ego the very same day as the thread and then whose alter-ego threatens posters that disagree with the OP/alter-ego to report them for not being disneyesque enough.

I understand that but this thread turned very nasty and it was aimed at one person. If you don't want to admit that that's okay. I don't want to argue but I felt this was very mean spirited. It's JMO. If you don't agree no biggie.

Closed threads are cool imho; it's the deleted ones I hate. I love to go back to page 7 or 8 just looking for closed threads. They are usually quite entertaining on a boring tv night.
